So I tried something like this before, and then sort of fell off of the face of the earth. For that, I apologize. OTL;; I'm going to do better this time, I swear - made easier by the fact that I'm not longer chained to my tablet, and have my computer all set up right where I want it to be~! <3
So my name (at least for you all) is Artemis. I've been roleplaying for over a decade, and with that, I have experience and a love for writing. However, I prefer to write maybe 2-3 paragraphs at a time (sometimes a little more for intros) and I try to reply as often as my schedule allows (which currently is up to twice a day, if I've got the inspiration).
I enjoy video games, and watched my boyfriend beat the Witcher III. (I helped, I swear! xD I offered input and did more than just cheering. xP) I myself am currently on the first Witcher game, and am having a grand time of it, despite the rather clunky controls. The other video games I'm currently playing are Grim Dawn (with my boyfriend), the Sims 4, and Sunrider Academy (with my boyfriend - he does the playing part, I voice the girls for him xD).
I also enjoy movies, books, anime, and manga, and my favorites of each are just too many to list here in full, so I'll keep it brief, and under a spoiler tag to keep the size of the post down. (This is also to give you an idea of what sorts of things I might like to RP. :3)
I'll add more when I actually have my collections here, because those are all I can remember off of the top of my head. xD
These Are a Few of My Favorite Things:
aka: What I'll probably say yes to most of the time.
These Are Definite No-nos:
aka: Present these to me and get rejected immediately!!
Current RP Plot Bunny:
The year is 3135, and humanity was nearly wiped to the brink of extinction by war. About two hundred years ago, the scientists of Elite Project Alpha found a way to save humans from dying out, but never thought to ask if they should...they saved humanity by splicing in genes from other species, making them faster, better at surviving, more natural defenses, etc...but could those who were saved this way even be called human anymore? The splicing caused mutations, caused their genomes to be unstable, and the research was called off after only two years.
The year is 3135, and the remaining demi-humans fight for the rights that their human ancestors took for granted. They are a small minority of maybe 300 strong, compared to the hundreds of millions of normal humans in the world. They are seen as inhuman, and often used for slave labor and mistreated.
Your character and my character have grown up in this world, and have recently heard of "The Genetic Curse" - an occurrence where a seemingly-normal human couple have given birth to a demi-human, due to one of their ancestors having been one of the hundreds of testing subjects used for Elite Project Alpha. The mutations in their genome lay dormant until now, and any demi-human born this way is either abandoned at one of the state-run orphanages, or put to death for being a monstrosity.
What separates demi-humans from normal humanity are their brightly colored eyes and hair, which are colors generally not found in normal human genetics. They also often have animalistic attributes, such as striped body markings, fangs, claws, cat tails, and slightly pointed ears in the tigerfolk variety. Some of them are lucky, and are only born with the unusual eye and hair colors, or only have a weird eye color and body markings that give them away as a demi-human. Even these very human demi-humans will usually refuse to try and pass off as a human, for to do so usually means death.

Not really feeling fandoms right now. Check back later, and I may have changed my mind.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things:
aka: What I'll probably say yes to most of the time.
- Vampires
- Zombies/Revenants
- Demons
- Angels
- Aliens (not necessarily Xenomorph-type aliens lol)
- Monster Girls/Boys (if I get to play them, it makes me especially happy)
- Playing a Wicked Queen-type of character.
These Are Definite No-nos:
aka: Present these to me and get rejected immediately!!
- Gore that doesn't accomplish anything
- Vore/Giantesses/Furries/Most fetishes - I'm just not into those sorts of things, sorry! ^^;
- "Seme" or "uke" type behaviors. People (and characters) can and should be multifaceted, not boiled down to one aspect of their character!
- Incest - even if they're not technically related, I find it uncomfortable at best of times and sickening at worst. Not trying to put anyone down, this is just how I feel about it.
- I reserve the right to update this list if I think or come across anything else. xD
