Shoshanna had to admit that her crew was more than a little antsy with this latest raid. Even they knew that their haul had been... impressive. For her? She had to admit that it was a rarity to ransack such a place and to even make off with... well, a little hostage that would likely not be returned. They sometimes stole people from families and returned them for a price or sold them to higher bidders if their families didn't care for them enough.

This one?

This one was for them and Shoshanna had to admit that she was excited to take part in exactly why he was for them first. Zahrai, her right hand and probably the best first mate she could have dared asked for, was hesitant and scowled at the idea of indulging in this particular gift, but Shoshanna knew that she would come around eventually. The girl was stubborn and strong-willed, but she'd give in if it meant a positive future for their ship, which it might well contribute to given the goals of at least one girl she knew.

She walked down to the bowels of the ship, scantily clad and not seeming to care that her body moved in a way that might arouse their hostage, kept behind bars but well fed and watered by the shy cabin girl, Noelani, who had - up until now - probably been moving so fast in her work that their hostage couldn't slip a word in edge-wise to learn where he was or who they were.

"Good evening, boy." She greeted with a gentle smile on her lips as she looked him up and down, a certain unmistakeable hunger in her eyes. "I trust our dear Lani has kept you well fed and watered, as promised? Our cook has made sure you've gotten some of the best cuts of meat we have." She wasn't even lying - caged though he was, it had been under specific direction that he would get just as good quality food as the others did, which after their last haul was... well, it was likely impressive, especially by the standards expected of a prisoner. "Can't do well to let a little cash cow of ours die - our reputation as the Vagabond is at stake." She purposely did the name drop, letting it sink in and waiting for him to respond.

It was not every day, after all, that someone learned that they were in the bowels of a pirating ship that became known for, despite being full of women, being far more terrifying than almost any other ship. That was, anyway, if stories were to be believed.

A loud bang, and then everything went black. That was all that the young crewmate Nick Jericho remembered from the raid that befell the ship that he was working at. A day that seemed like everything else, until he closed his eyes after the bang, and finally opened it after what to him could have been minutes, hours or even days. He had no idea, but that wasn't on his mind right now. All he did was waking up, to see that he was somewhere that he didn't know before, and quickly figured out that he wasn't back on his ship. No, this place seemed more like a small prison, to keep someone dangerous locked up, but how did he end up there? No ideas came to his mind, until he saw someone walking by.

It was a girl, an alien of a species he hadn't met before. At first he seemed scared, but then he looked closer at the girl. She seemed to avoid eye contact with him constantly, and didn't like the type to talk very much. "Uhm, hello? Hello you there..." He said with a low voice at first, hoping that she would notice him, but he didn't seem to get through to her. "H-Hey, can you hear me?" He asked, raising his voice a little bit, but only to the same result. "Hey, you there! Can you tell me where I am? And why I'm locked up?" He asked with a raised voice like he was getting annoyed at her, which he truly was. Having someone ignore him like she did, seemed to piss him off quite a bit, and he was just about to just give it up, when he suddenly heard footsteps approaching.

Stepping back in his cell, he watched as two women, one human and one alien approached him. They seemed like two of higher rank than the girl he tried to get into contact with, that much he could tell from the way they carried themselves. It reminded him of a captain and her right hand, which was becoming more and more clear in his head. Listening to what the human told him, he looked down to notice the food there, but didn't give her an answer. He seemed to remain completely quiet and almost refusing to answer, but that was only until he heard the feared name: The Vagabond.

Hearing that name seemed to run through his mind like a train, and it showed in his eyes, as so many through ran through, while he continued to stare right at the human. "No..." He said with a low voice, as he almost leaped towards the door to talk to her. "Look, I don't have any family, and nobody is going to miss me. I am no value to you, so please let me go. I won't tell anyone what I saw here, just please don't sell me! I beg you!" He said with desperation in his voice, that mostly came from the name. The Vagabond was that frightening of a name in this part of the galaxy.

They weren't as terrifying as might be believed. Sure, all stories had truth and it wasn't like she was feared without reason. Rather, Shoshanna found that the name grew beyond themselves. Sometimes this was good as the reputation inspired fear enough that even those who might be able to hold their own would stand down and forfeit rather than even try. Yet, still, others would rise to a challenge and they'd be in for quite the fight.

"Oh, no, my dear pretty boy." She cooed, teasing as her fingers tapped on the bars of his prison. Her gaze roved around him thoughtfully. "We are keeping you, at least for a little while. I'm sure we could find a few good people to buy you, but really... that's not why we kept you alive." If he was to be sold, he would have been in a different prison down below this one - or, perhaps, would have already been carted off like some of his fellows had already been. As she said - this had been a good haul. He was just something that... well, most of their crew could agree that it was safe to indulge in him.

"Instead, I'm hoping to offer you a... temporary position among our crew based on your performance. You perform to our desires and you get a cut like any of the others. You don't and... well, we'll figure that out if we get there." To be honest, she had long learned to avoid saying her plans. Sure, at first it was good to threaten - but now with all the stories about the Vagabond and their reputation floating around, she found it best to simply leave it to their minds alone to come up with whatever sick, twisted little result they'd fear most. Imaginations were grand, weren't they? "But something tells me that you'd enjoy what job we want to give you - if you agree to these terms already." She didn't ever mention what would happen if he denied this offer, but she supposed he could make up his own consequences easily enough.

After all, her offer was transparent. It was clear he didn't have much of a choice, though he knew not what he was agreeing to do.

At first, Nick continued to be scared of the captain and her crew mate. There was every reason to, if the stories about The Vagabond was true. Stealing, robbing, killing, taking hostages and selling them to slavers. All of these rumors were from every planet they had been close to, and they only got more and more wild and extreme with each person the rumor spread to. Of course, Nick only thought of it as a rumor at first, but now... With his ship being blasted, the rest of his crew mates supposedly being blasted to death, and him being taken hostage by them, he could only presume that the rumors were true. The Vagabond was dangerous to anyone who weren't part of their crew.

However, listening to what she told him, about why they kept him and even offering him a place among their crew, only seemed to confuse the young man. What the hell was going on? The Vagabond, the most dangerous ship and crew in this part of the galaxy, capturing him and now wants him to stay with them? Just what the hell was going on, but then he heard the word that got him thinking. Desires. Performing to their desires. What exactly did she mean by that? It made him look over the only three people he had seen so far on the ship. The shy alien cabin girl, the first mate next to the female captain. Those were all women! Could this be a ship where the entire crew was made of women?

Taking a small step back into the cell, he looked back up at the captain once again. "So, either stay here and... 'Perform to your desires', or face whatever comes next?" He asked her with a low voice, like it was more a question to himself. Was there really any choice in this? No matter what, there was probably no way he would survive for long in whatever she would do to her if he didn't accept her offer. As for the other thing, well... To him, the desires of the ship could possibly just revolve around sex and simply pleasing the crew of the ship. Would that be such a bad thing for now? At least it would keep him alive.

So he took a step closer, and nodded his head at the captain. "I... I agree to your terms. As long as I can stay safe here." He said while still looking down, like he had no idea what was going to happen to him next.

"Smart boy." Shoshanna said. She hoped for his sake that he could perform well - after all, there were quite a few women to satisfy and, sure, some might not have huge sex drives but... well, that was why they had decided to get a relatively young man. They were much more likely to perform quite well. "Eat first... then Noelani will escort you to your first assignment."

Well, his first assignment would be her, but she really did want to make sure he ate. She couldn't do with him getting tired before she was ready to be done, after all, and him having food would certainly help with that.

"But first - I do want to know if you've been with a woman before." She asked, knowing that this, if nothing else, would definitely out their intentions. She didn't care. He'd already agreed and, to be honest, what boy his age would resist. All her ladies were damn hot, if she said so herself (and she most certainly did). In all honesty, she didn't care if he was a virgin - it just meant that there would be a bit of a learning curb to expect first. Perhaps she was a captain, but she was fair in that she would allow him that amount of rope to help him... or hang him with, as the case might be. Somehow, even if he was a virgin, she doubted that there would be much trouble to be honest.

"Well I... I have been with a few women in the past." Nick simply replied, as he seemed a little confused, like he didn't exactly know what she would use that kind of info for. Of course she wanted to know how experienced he was, but wasn't he supposed to be more like a toy of sorts to them? Someone they could use however they pleased? So why would she want to know that? While he thought of that, he watched as the captain and her crew mate left him alone in his cell.

He moved down to start eating the food that had been given to him earlier. It was delicious, actually surprisingly delicious. Surely no prisoner in the world would have eaten something like this before. It only made him more confused. Why would they treat him this well, especially since he was a prisoner? Every that was happening around him only seemed to make him more confused than he was just a moment ago.

Since he was so hungry, it only took him a short while before he finished up his meal, and then walked over to the bars, to try and get into contact with the girl from earlier. "Hey you... Uhm... Noelani was it?" He asked her, while waiting if she were to react this time or not. "Look I'm done with my meal, and I'm not really sure what to do right now so... Would you lead me up to the captain? Please?" He asked, seeming to be a bit more lighthearted with this girl. He wasn't sure if it was her shyness or that he hadn't been able to talk to her, or that she was avoiding him, that he didn't fear her the same way as the captain. But now he was hoping he could find out what was going to happen from now on.
