Personality: He is a bit of a mute due to his traumatic past. It's rare that he says anything as he tends to let his actions speak in place of his words. His distrustful of others at first but can be rather social and friendly once people get him to let his guard down.

Major drawback to his semblance is it’s extremely volitile, often leaving him with no aura at all most times.
Extra: Due to genetic experimentation, Wolf and Cat Faunus DNA was spliced into his Human DNA to create what should have been a super soldier. This gave him an almost supernatural ability to regenerate his aura, allowing him to recover lost aura while still fighting, provided he has aura to begin with. The downside is he also gained a Grimm-like mask that manifests when he finds himself in danger, boosting his abilities while making as feral as a Beowulf.
Brief History: Obsidian Rose was born on Patch in a timeline where the role Huntsmen and Huntresses had was significantly smaller. They weren't really needed as almost all Grimm were extremely passive toward Humans and Faunus. True, there were Grimm attacks but they mostly were resolved with little to no injury. That being the case, Huntsmen and Huntresses were nearly nonexistent.
Going into his fourth and final year at Beacon, his life changed radically when he was forced to abandon his life at Beacon after being captured and experimented on by a scientist wanting to create the perfect super soldier using Faunus DNA. In a matter of speaking, the experiment was successful. However, he slaughtered everyone around him when he broke free. This included Nicolas Shade, Xander Black, and Yoshino Fumina, the other members of team who'd come to rescue him. He was fully aware, so he was traumatized by seeing his friends look at him as he killed them. When a machine that sent him into the past of a separate timeline was triggered, he vowed to never be a part of another team as penance for murdering his friends and everyone at the lab he was in.
