Jason Uther was a pretty typical senior in college - business major, former athlete, small scholarship, average grades, fairly attractive. His physique was rather long and slim, with muscular tone from his swim career still defining the harder edges of his form. Sharp, bright green eyes set into an angular face framed by longer, slightly curly black hair, and a silver ring glinted through his left earlobe. On this particular evening, he was lounging in the shared living room of the apartment, wearing a fitted undershirt and black pants, a beer bottle in hand as he relaxed after a long day of classes. The undershirt was sleeveless, displaying the watercolored hexagon-styled tattoo on his right shoulder, with a matching pattern mirroring it on his left forearm. Under the thin fabric of his undershirt, two small steel barbells pierced his nipples, from an exgirlfriend who had liked them. He kept them because he enjoyed them now.
He shared this apartment with three female students, a peculiar living situation, but one that worked out. Originally, he had moved in and paid his own rent, but after the first six months, Abbie, who evidently threw money around like it was quite literally just paper, ignored his cash on the kitchen table and just paid his rent like she did the other girls. It had been seven hectic months now, given their classes and then the holidays, but now things were quieting down, at least for Jason. Unfortunately, things were also quiet in his social life, having moved off campus and away from much of the party scene. He'd talked and chatted with the girls so far, and knew them like friends, but nothing more than that. Perhaps that was for the better. Having a failed relationship with one of them could ruin this nice living situation he had going on, though with their looks (and the things he had heard through the walls from various guys brought home, among other things) it might have been worth it.
