Her hands trembled a bit as they always did when holding the collar. Her roommate was out for some class or another while she was free, so it was the perfect moment for her to indulge on her recently acquired hobby. No, not a hobby, as it verged on obsession by occupying her mind most of the day, every day. Most of her classmates would spend those days making friends and being social, but she wasn't particularly adept at either of those, her self awareness issues about her chubby body making her hesitate and choke at those situations. It had been just a couple of weeks ago, when exploring the city that was completely unknown to her, that she had stumbled into the quaint antique shop...
...
The shop in question seemed interesting enough to warrant entering, only to be received by a full body mirror on her left, the movement on it drawing her attention. Tiffany Bell returned her look from the mirror, frowning at her baggy attire chosen in a vain attempt to hide her body, her long black hair dyed with a hint of purple before she had come to college, those blue eyes shining surprised at the sight of her own reflection. A heavy sigh prefaced Tiffany's dragging steps into the shop, soon resting into a circular piece of metal. The collar seemed an odd piece of jewelry, an object of dark desires and perhaps a torture implement all at once. It's dark steel surface was almost black and cold to the touch, sending shivers through her body with barely a caress.
"Do you like it, young girl?" an old woman croaked out of nowhere, her voice projected from the counter at the deep end of the shop, making her presence known to Tiffany.
"Hello!" she nervously greeted, her eyes darting to the woman, then soon back at the collar. "It's nice... but not my style" she acknowledged, but even then she took it in her hands. It was surprisingly weighty, and now that she was grasping it the feel was more refreshing cool than biting cold. Taking it to the counter, she was too curious about the trinket to not keep talking to the shopkeeper. "Whatever it is, is too bold, too daring" she mused, the piece shining on her hands. The shopkeeper looked at her, partly amused, partly interested, but deep down Tiffany felt that she was judging her.
"Lets make a deal then" the shopkeeper said, her green eyes glinting emerald under her spectacles...
...
Tiffany clasped the collar around her neck, an already familiar metallic sound confirming that it was closed, as if the miraculous effects it provided weren't enough. As the sound clicked in, it was like a wizard had snapped their fingers during a trick, and Tiffany was invisible all of a sudden. Sure, her presence was still easy to detect, since it only made her invisible, not the clothes she was wearing. With her heart thumping on her chest, she decided that today was the day she was finally going to dare. Quickly getting rid of her clothes to keep her momentum going and her courage as high as possible, Tiffany rendered herself completely invisible. Now, nobody could see her chubby body and she could go where she pleased, see what she pleased. The practice of the college team was about to be over if she wasn't mistaken, so that meant that the boys were about to hit the showers.
It meant that he was going to hit the showers.
