Hi!
I'm Marivaux and I'm a hopeless romantic. Unfortunately, I'm very busy with my job, so it's hard to scratch this itch in real life. I adore costume dramas, and something like that is what I'm looking for in my roleplaying, but spicier. I have roleplayed before, it was a few years ago, but I've not really done a lot involving more intimate stuff.
My ideal roleplay would be in a courtly setting in the sixteenth to nineteenth century (or fantasy versions thereof). I can also go earlier if you like, but I know less about that. I would prefer playing a young and handsome prince in one of the scenario snippets below or in another kind of story.
For a posting perspective I prefer going with first person but I can also write third if that has your preference. I can't say much about post lengths because I think that it should really depend on what's happening. Sometimes, when events move quickly, there isn't much room for long descriptions. I would want a mix of story and smut, and romance in both aspects.
One thing that I really like is realism. So I would rather not include things like oversized breasts or very big penises. Personalities also are a part of this, I just need some realism to preserve my immersion.
For the smut, I am not the kind of person who sees sex as being about submitting and dominating. To me, it's about mutual love, which I like to see reflected. There however are some oddities about me, so I made an incomplete list below:
Tenderness
Consensual
Marriage (not for every set-up, but for some it's an important part)
Giving (I love making my partner feel good and not just like a body)
Pregnancy (it's not just hard to avoid in the period, but also is important for many other things. And some women look so good when they're expecting. This can of course be skipped).
Cuddling, kissing, fondling
Costume and underwear
Surroundings
And an F-list
Plot ideas
1) Happily arranged marriage
Our characters have been destined to get married for years but have never really met in private before. Luckily, they are a great match and they fall for each other.
2) A Royal Affair
One or both of our characters are very unhappily married when they meet at a ball. Something begins to develop between them, but they can't let people know.
3) Love knows no bounds
In this one, your character would be of a lower social class than mine, but he still falls in love with her. This can go in multiple directions, from just liaisons to actually going public and getting married.
