not recieving an email for new replies

When I am roleplaying I am mostly doing other stuff in between replies and to signal me that I got new replies I use the emails I get about new replies. However at times I do not get such a mail and forget about the roleplay. How does the mail notification work is it per roleplay or if I get one and do not become active I do not get any new notifications?

I can't answer this with 100% certainty but I think with several of the "E-mail Notifications" that you'll receive a notification but if you ignore it and don't go active onsite, it won't send another one. I don't remember which of the Notifications is this way or if its all of them but I know that is a thing with at least some of them. I'm sorry I couldn't answer more clearly. If you want a clearer answer you could message Vekseid. He'd know better than me.

I'm pretty sure that's the case with all the notifications. I'm subbed to many of the forum games - If I ignore those emails and don't visit the thread until the next time I'm actually on the site, they won't send again.

I believe the PM's work that way however in threads I that are 1 on 1 it also happens to me for some reason. I only got one email about this thread for the first notification that is fine since I will see all of them one I check in.

Again, I'm sorry I can't answer you with any more certainty. As I said, I know at least some notifications are that way. Vekseid runs the site though, so he would know if thats how they all work or not. And if not, could help figure out how to fix it. So I would urge you to message him for a certain answer.
