It was a wonderful spring day in the glade... the kind of day that the most beloved of fairy tales might start with. The sun was shining through the verdant canopy above, casting the forest world below in bright shades of green and gold. Pollen and flower petals occasionally dancing through the air between rays of light on a stray breeze. Truly a serene time to cherish the real beauty of this untouched bit of natural beauty.
Yggdra was so. incredibly. bored.
She yawned and flicked her long ears idly while she watched a butterfly darting through the air on its stained-glass wings. She rolled her eyes. Even the stupid butterflies were out. What kind of useless day was this. She needed something interesting to occupy herself with or she was going to drive herself absolutely mental.
Her last little... project had reached its conclusion. An interesting conclusion to be sure. But she'd gotten a little, overzealous, with the last few plays of the game. Yggdra hardly blames herself of course, she'd do better next time.
If she could find a next time.
The butterfly fluttered a bit too close to her, as she herself bobbed lazily in the air, reclined in careless levitation. She snatched it out of the air with quick fingers and began to pluck it's legs off like it were a flower but.
There waaaaas a village near by. There had to be someone there who might make a worth-while candidate.
