Yes, the term is generally reserved for gender play, but it would still fit your character. All her life she's been in the background. Boyish body, short hair, T-shirt and jeans, just one of the guys. She never thought a thing of it, just who she is. Friends and family didn't care either, she was happy, so they were happy. Was kind of tired of being asked if she was a lesbian though.
Now she's of at college (can play around with setting) and is starting to realize deep down, she was jealous of the girly girls in their short skirts and crop tops, flaunting their bodies for attention.
We can discuss what comes next, but thinking some friends/roommates drag her out to a dance/strip club for a fun night out. Well, they might all be having fun, but Regardless, while her friends/roommates are dancing and "wooo!"-ing, she's tucked herself in a corner. My character shows up and invites her to a quieter room, where she discovers I'm actually the owner. Why her? Because I can tell she isn't happy, that she "wants what she can't have".
So his offer? Daily task assignment, and a pink pill each day. Nothing nefarious, the pill is "just a supplement" to help her skin, hair. The tasks to help her become who she wants, just a step at a time, slow and steady. Starting as simple as mantras, aerobics, and dancing, and eventually exhibitionism, slutification, and even having her drop out if we get that far.
His goal of course is to make a slutty trophy out of "nothing". An equal to him to the outside world, a submissive bimbo (in presence, wants her to remain intelligent) when they're alone together.
