Delia Rowland was one-of-a-kind. She was Muggle-born, but she had a kind of magic that was unheard of. She was a prefect for Ravenclaw, and she used it for only good. And, as the cherry on top of the sundae, she was hot. The woman was toned and tall, with ample breasts and beautiful chocolate hair. But her piercing green eyes were her favorite features. Despite all of that, Delia was modest, but she knew how to flaunt it when she needed to. Normally it was only to get some extra food at dinner, or maybe some drinks at the local pub. Despite her beauty, Delia was still single. She opted to focus more on her studies and magic than on men.

It was her night to patrol the halls, and she kept a special lookout. A few days before, she'd yelled at a couple of awful Slytherin's who had been terrorizing some of the first years. Delia wasn't going to let that happen, and she wrote the two of them up with a demerit. She was looked at like a hero by some of the students, and her head was held even higher as she walked back down the hallway toward her house. But there was a small fear that they would try to play a trick on her, so Delia kept her want tight in her hand as she moved down the old stone halls.

Cain Savarinth was a tall lithe biy currently in his sixth year. Cain was taller than many of those in his year by a good few inches. His face was handsome and chiseled though his grey eyes held little warmth in them. His hair was black and neatly trimmed. The expression he often wore was one of boredom. Cain was one of the better achieving slitherin's in his year and while he was no where near top of the year he was skilled enough at performing magic, something his head of house often threw points at him for. Cain was one of the two slitherin prefects though he didn't particularly do a good job with his position. In all honesty Cain used his prefect badge to bully those beneath him and to give him a little more power, something he liked.

Currently Cain was still brooding over his recent detention that had came when that mudblood had interfered with him and gotten the teachers involved. She'd regret it though, Cain had vowed as much. If that whore was going to act like a little bitch then Cain was going to treat her as such, she'd soon learn what it was to invoke the ire of a member of the Savarinth family. The thought of what he was ging to do to her still brought a smirk to his face.

As it was a young terrified looking first year was rushing down the stairs towards where Delia was patrolling. The boy came to a skidding stop infront of her while panting heavily. He pointed back where he came from tryign to indicate something. "Peeves..." he puffed with laboured breaths. "Locked out of the dorm room... went to find help. He threw a chair at me and stole... my bag." All in all the first year did seem quite distressed though it was really out of self preservation and worry as to what might happen to him if he didn't do this little task.

So far, so good. Delia had been patrolling the halls for a few hours before anything had happened. Delia had even gotten bored at one point and started practicing her Patronus. The wolf had been running in front of her for a while, but it fluttered out after a while. Delia would have liked to have blamed it on her exhaustion, but she knew she just hadn't practiced enough. She would get better, though. That much she knew.

Just as the brunette was about to walk back to her own hall, a first year sprinted down the hall toward her. She frowned and bent a little as he explained what was going on. "It's alright, it's alright. Just stay here, I'll go take care of him." Delia gave him a soft smile before heading back where he had been pointing. Grabbing her wand, she made her way into the dark hall. "Peeves? Come on! Show yourself! You're too old to be playing tricks like this!" The prefect yelled into the darkness. Where there was no response, she frowned. "Hello?"

There would be no sound and no call of peeves. The hall would remain quiet and unmoving. This was one of the quieter less used corridors that had little down here except for a few old classrooms that didn't see any use any more. This corridor didn't even work as a short cut to anything except for one of the smaller restrooms so people rarely came this way, there was even a lack of portaits or paintings. There would be several suits of armour still situated down the corridor but beyond that nothing... except for a Slytherin preferct under the effect of a disillisionment charm.

Cain waited for some time until the girl was so far down the corridor, he'd prepared this place some time before. No sound made in this corridor would leave it. Not only that but unless some one walked over the threshhold of another of Cain's spells any one from the outside would see nothing but an empty dark corridor. Cain gave a quick flick of his wrist and silently cast the disarming charm expelliarmus at the Ravenclaw, hoping to take her by surprise due to him being particularly difficult to spot. A second spell followed the first aimed at trying to throw the girl backwards in to the wall behind her.
