Looking for an unexpected long-term pairing in the Halo Universe. Namely, a pairing of a Orbital Drop Shock Trooper and either a SPARTAN-II or a SPARTAN-IV. This pairing would start out as just a dependence on each other to survive in a dire combat situation. That dependence would grow into something more as they discover more about each other and survive together while looking a means to escape.
My thoughts were that the SPARTAN would view the ODST as deadweight at first but start changing their opinion after the ODST starts showing traits a SPARTAN would have.
Feel free to message me to discuss kinks.
Real Name: Alex Connor
Used name: Vergil Danvers
Rank: Lance Corporal
Age: 22
Role: Sniper/Medic
Primary weapon: Sniper Rifle System 99 Anti-Matériel
Secondary weapon: M7S SMG
Equipment: A field Med pack, a Tacpad with a SmartAI stored inside, Jetpack
Appearance:
In armor
Out of armor
Notible feats: He performed a 1 kilometer free fall drop from a Pelican with a jetpack into the ocean beside the base he was at while in ODST training while participating in a mock firefight between John-117's Blue team and the UNSC Infinity's Fireteam Crimson. Sustained a partial broken rib in the water impact but completed the training exercise with out a peep about it until it was called to attention by John-117 saying his breathing was shallower that it should have been.
Biography: Being the son of a Sergeant Major in the UNSC Marine Corps was hard always hard for Alex. Yet, when when he enlisted two years before he was legally allowed to under an assumed identity, he proved himself to be of a very different breed. His fellow cadets often joked that he had the motto of "No surrender, No Retreat, No mercy.", which wasn't that far off since Alex was usually the very first one to jump into the blender while in boot camp and usually the very last to come out. Most times more beat up than he started.
Which made him the perfect candidate for the ODST, ironically under the leadership of his father. His father, berating him for never speaking or always wearing his helmet, pushed Alex the hardest in his training. Pushing Alex harder and harsher than he was morally allowed to. Alex for his part, never complained or bitched about it. He just gave back 100× more than he got. Which caught the eye of a SPARTAN he'd later be under the field command of during his first ever Drop.
