A Strange Mirror
Greetings, one and all, and welcome to my humble RP request thread. Who am I? Someone with an edgy username! Or at least, someone with a craving for a bit of a darker take on a story right now.
For the relevant details, rest assured that I am a competent, literate and detailed writer who has been role playing across many a format for a number of years now, including writing eRP on sites just like this one for some time now. I'm seeking a new story and a new audience, so I thought I'd come try my luck in this wonderful little community.
What I'm craving today is a dark, modern fantasy with lots of plot and lots of smut. Recent movie viewing has put me in the mood for a highschool setting, with a chaser of political intrigue, scandal and power struggle. How will this all come together? Let's find out!
Who is looking back at you?
Any good RP should be a reflection of both writers involved, which is why I tend to be a little picky about my partners. I appreciate detail and description, require literacy, and greatly appreciate someone who can contribute. I have a plot in mind here, a setting, characters, and a whole myriad of things going on in this universe I'm currently cooking up, but by no means am I looking for a passive hanger-on or spectator. I love a partner who can toss in ideas! Let's brainstorm together, and create something only the two of us could make. Isn't that what we're here for?

Here for your perusal is my current RP craving, and setting which I have been hankering for. I've attempted to break it up in to coherent sections, but who knows what success I'll have.
Welcome to Nightvale (No, not that one)
Welcome, one and all, to the strange and secretive city that is Nightvale. Situated in a quiet Midwestern state, Nightvale has a small but bustling economy centered around the plentiful natural resources in the area. Bountiful lakes and rivers, deep lush forests, even a short trip up to the mountains with all of their buried secrets and minerals. The downtown core is a busy urban center full of towering buildings, glowing lights and throbbing music from trendy nightclubs. The daytime might be all business and boardrooms,
but at night, the city truly comes to life...
Of course, not everything is as it seems in Nightvale. Hidden beneath the mundane population is a growing supernatural community. Witches, vampires, werewolves, and numerous other such beings call Nightvale home, living and operating in the shadows, though interacting with each other through occasional council meetings to address concerns of the supernatural community as a whole. These beings blend in to everyday life in Nightvale, never revealing themselves, but often manipulating the balance of power in the area from behind the scenes, tugging the strings of business and politics through boardroom meetings as often as through pleasure dungeons and kink cults.
The underground kink community is strong in Nightvale, and while few talk about it, everyone knows about the wild orgies, the "anything goes" rooms in most clubs, the dungeons, the bondage palaces,
the secret, taboo desires of everyone around them... It makes the city a popular tourist destination for such reasons as well. Just about anything you crave, you can find in Nightvale... Assuming you can pay the price, or at least know who to make friends with.
On the outskirts of Nightvale are sprawling suburbs and lakeside communities, often populated by the rich and famous of the area. The oldest manor is the Nightvale Manor itself, belonging to Alex and his family. Though ill-used now, it was once the home of the founders of the city. Neither the debauchery nor the supernatural are contained to the downtown core, of course, and tend to spread out in to the forests, mountains, lakes, suburbs and manors that sprawl out from the city itself.
The Nightvale Family
The oldest members of the Nightvale family were the founders of the city named after them. They have always had a strong connection to the city, and to the area, and have always been among the most influential people residing there. Alex's father Thomas, in fact, still serves as Mayor. Many whisper that there are strange things and dark forces helping the Nightvale family along, keeping them in power and perpetual wealth, and they would be correct. Thomas took a prominent witch as his wife, Helen, who did her best to help her family along while attending to coven business of her own. Thus, with strong ties to both the mundane and supernatural political landscapes, much was expected of the two children, Alex and Jessica.
Of course, good things don't last. Alex was only eight years old when Helen and her coven botched their summoning ritual and unleash demons in to the Nightvale manor. They struggled to contain the beasts, to drive them back, and while they were successful, it wasn't before then eight year old Alex was dragged off to hell with them. Things didn't go well for the Nightvale family from there on. For years, Helen tried to recover her son to no success. She and Thomas fought constantly, and eventually, Helen left, moving on to never be heard from again. Unable to bear being in the family home, Thomas, now in a struggling position as Mayor, lives in his downtown penthouse, abandoning the family home, and leaving Jessica to live there by herself when she was old enough, attending a suburban highschool in the area.
Thomas is plagued by scandal now, not doing such a good job of hiding his perversions and dalliances from the press (not that people in town care so much about those things, but they're certainly not welcome at church anymore), and is struggling to retain his position as Mayor. Jessica, on the other hand, has begun studying her mother's old magical tomes and laboratories in the house with a few curious highschool friends, forming their own little witch coven that will eventually lead to the return of her brother...
The Demon Returns...
After near a decade trapped in hell, Alex has returned, rife with demonic influence. He's had a strange few years, and now a teenager, he's developed some... Tastes. Unleashed upon the world with powers even he doesn't understand, he's going to have a hard time fitting in. His sister might be glad to have him back, but even she doesn't fully understand the nature of his powers... Or his desires. She and her coven may very well be the first little victims of his hunger for power, and for females, but the real trouble will start when he gets out in to the world.
Seeking to catch up his education, Alex has enrolled back in the local highschool his sister attends. While he keeps his power and demonic appearance mostly under wraps, he sees no harm in flexing his supernatural muscles a bit when it suits him, whether that's to help him on a test he's not prepared for, or to help him get a few cheerleaders or even teachers in to a storage closet for some extracurriculars.
Of course, school is only the beginning... The Nightvale family has a long history of power and influence in the city that shares their name. Thomas has been squandering that history, so perhaps it's time Alex took a more proactive role in the family business...

Play on this profile will likely involve Alex (played by myself), the city (played largely by myself), and any poor mundane or supernatural being that Alex sets upon during his rise to power (played by you). This will all be fleshed out over time as more quirks, details and people get added to Nightvale!
Currently, I'm looking for long-term stories involving Alex and his journey through Nightvale, with the people he encounters, enslaves, impregnates, and does various other delicious things to along the way. Short one-of scenes are also welcome, so please don't hesitate to message me with those either, but anyone willing to work out something long-term will be adored.
Also, I prefer messenger or emails to PMs, but I'm fine with anything.
