I've played this game at a con before, and would love to find people who are interested. Basically, human adventurers go to non-human communities and take out the guards and loot. This is a problem everywhere for non-humans and calling them "monsters" is simply racist.
You get to play Kobolds, Orcs, Trolls, etc. (who have communities) and they come together to address the "adventurer problem" and tracked a group down and found a portal.
The group goes through the portal and ended up in halloween 2016 earth. So likely to say everyone is mostly human, unfamiliar technology confuses the non-humans and as they group together and get used to the environment, they get hunted by the police.
I would say, you can play non-human characters from Unearth Arcana (modern variants) And Volo's Guide, etc. 9th level.
