Making RP Request Threads

When I roleplay, my characters can be male or female. Looking at the available areas for posting request threads, I see the divide for male and female.

If I'm looking to play female character would I put my thread in the female area or male area because I'm a male writer?

I got a better idea where to put a thread, if I wish to play male character or say an alien from outer space. LOL

Your request is based on the gender of the character you're looking to play, not your gender or the gender of the partner you wish to attract. Does that help?

You post for the gender of your character regardless of your own gender.

I'm going to add this just in case but if you do play as Males, Females and Uncatagorized others you would make separate RT's for each one and place them in the appropriate section. Please be aware you can only have 1 active RT in the Long Term area of Male, Female and Uncatagorized Others. c=
