the INTERNET
Hey,

We really don't know each other all that well. I'm actually April Willows, your neighbor from down the hall? I'm the youngish brunette who moved in just a few weeks ago and stuff, with the new job. I bought you that coffee that one time, and you helped hook my computer up to the internet. You know, the girl with the Disney poster on the wall? We talked a few times about some stuff, and we keep kind of running into each other in the halls.

Anyway, so, this is kind of hard and all, but I know you work a lot from home. Not that I've been spying on your or anything. I think you mentioned it? But you know computers and stuff. The thing is, my totally awesome job I told you about? You probably don't remember, but it's working with Dynamics Branding, the hot agency and all. I got super lucky to even end up working there. They don't take in many new hires. It turns out the job isn't paying quite as much as I'd hoped. So I need a bit more money. So I was kind of hoping to maybe meet and talk with you? See if maybe you could help me figure out some way of making some extra cash online. I don't even really know how to start with that. You know how I was with computers. I know just enough to get into trouble.

It would be super awesome, and I'll totally make it up to you. I'll bring some coffee and come by for a chat. Is tomorrow afternoon okay? I'm off tomorrow, so it would really work great for me. If not, let me know. I really, really could use the help!

Thanks.

AW

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
April stared at the door, feeling awkward. Part of that came from the fact that her hair was having one of those off days where it wouldn't do anything she wanted it to. It sort of spread all over her face like a brunette fog, at least covering her too big ears but not really helping anything else. On top of that, it was way hotter than she remembered, and she wasn't sure if the air conditioner was out in the hall or the landlord was just punishing her for being slightly behind on her rent.
And she was holding two iced coffees. That alone wouldn't have been a problem, except that she was facing a door. "C'mon, April, you're a problem solver,' she mumbled to herself, shifting about. She didn't see a bell, which figured: her apartment didn't have one either. She was just a floor up. In fact, she thought she was exactly above his place, but she wasn't totally sure. They did meet when she was heading down, so that was something.
"Hey!" she tried calling, hitting the door with her hip. "Ow,' she mumbled, wincing. Her body wasn't nearly big enough to cause a lot of damage. Oh no, the only thing she got to have that was big were her freaking oversized boobs. Barely over five feet, weighing just over one hundred pounds, and April would swear twenty of that was her "C " cup tatas. At least her light sundress wasn't spilling them out, so she had that working for her. Finally April shifted her grip just enough to feel comfortable knocking.
"Hey...." oh crap, what was his name? April's big blue eyes widened as her brain just totally forgot, "hey, uh, it's me! The, uh, April girl? Emailed you about helping me out? I brought coffee?" she tried tapping the door with her foot, figuring that might help if nothing else.
Sebastian regarded the message on his computer screen with a small and incredulous stare. It was at least his three hundredth pass through the words, and all he could think was that -- somehow -- someone had figured him out and was pulling some kind of a prank. It was the only thing that made sense. Of course he knew April. The young bombshell had really made a splash at his apartment complex. After all, she stuck out amid a sea of thirty-something divorcees and holdout singles. Since the first time he'd laid eyes on her, he'd been a little bit infatuated.
And now she was emailing him? For help making money? The prospect alone felt like an intoxicating mixture of half-baked fantasies he'd cooked up himself mixed in with a healthy dose of porno-realism. Even if the whole thing was legitimate and April really was seeking his help, Sebastian was near positive that things wouldn't go the way he'd like them to. Still, what could he do?
His apartment was one of the nicer ones in the complex; a two bedroom with vaulted ceilings, an oversized balcony, and all the little kitchen upgrades a bachelor could fail to appreciate. Despite a rather slobbish streak, he'd taken the time to tidy up, cleaning surfaces he never had. He even shaved. From there, the remainder of his day -- until that moment when she showed up at his door -- was spent doing what he often did: Overthinking.
Sebastian took special care not to open the door too quickly. It was only after the last of April's announcements that the door gave way, revealing the tall and pale-faced software developer. With a round, trustworthy face and deep grey eyes, the man wasn't hard on the eyes.
He fit well into a crowd, and his choice of baggy jeans and a rather bland horizontal striped blue polo did little to accentuate his lanky build. If anything, the attire only accentuated a slightly bulging belly. Locks of rich brown were a stylish mess about the top of his head. Sebastian was frugal to a fault, but he invested nearly two hundred dollars a month on keeping his hair on point. Around the office -- on the rare occasions when he actually went in -- it was kind of his thing.
"Hey, April." he greeted rather blandly, all too successful in playing down the fact that the girl he'd discreetly stalked was standing at his door in a dress that made him want to immediately seclude himself. Some part of him was terrified he might accidentally let slip some random little detail he'd learned about her while stalking her on social media. Truth be told, Sebastian wouldn't know what to do with April if he ever actually had a chance with her, but that wouldn't stop him from thinking about it. Despite the lewd gears turning behind his gray gaze, his smile actually came off as easy and genuine; calm, even.
"C'mon in," he gestured, stepping aside and motioning the young woman inside. The doorway immediately fed into a naturally well-lit open floor plan. There was a laptop opened up and sitting upon the coffee table; just ahead of a leather sofa. Sebastian was in tow, having quietly closed the door. His form nearly brushed April as he meandered around to sit on the sofa. "Make yourself comfortable, yeah?"
With a quick grimace, he leaned in, turning well-versed fingertips loose on the keyboard to rapid fire an email. It was a work thing. He prided himself on being responsive. Quietly, then, he closed the machine and took one of the offered coffees with a smile. "Thanks for the coffee. I'm Sebastian, by the way."
Yeah, he'd told her his name before -- or he thought he had -- but Sebastian wasn't about to hold it against her for not remembering. Part of his M.O. was to fly beneath peoples' radar.
"So I got your email-" Obviously. Sebastian chided himself internally, but his exterior remained no more awkward than usual. "Happy to try and help you, but I don't know how much help I can really be. Have you ever designed a website or anything like that?"
Or stripped for strangers on a webcam, his inner voice quickly followed up with. Though he knew he'd never actually say it, Sebastian was fairly certain he could compensate for whatever gap April's income was suffering; if only he had the courage to offer as much and demand something reasonable in return.
"Hey!" April replied, trying to sound cheery and flash a smile. She did feel at least a little cheery, since this might actually help her out of the desperate situation she'd found herself in. Her lease hung over her head, ready to descend like some sort of deadly weapon, and her steadily dwindling bank account wasn't going to keep that weapon off her for much longer. Still, she could definitely afford to buy a nice enough guy coffee. After all, whatshisname may be a bit awkward and all, but he didn't give off too much of a creepy vibe, and April liked to think she had enough judgement to at least determine when a creep was nearby.
"Thanks again," she said as she entered the apartment. The layout was fairly familiar to her, but she couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised at the decor as well. The laptop made sense, but that leather couch looked practically classy. April shifted as he came around. "I like what you've done with the place. Beats the boxes and handmedown look I'm going for," that was only partially true: she did have a few boxes left, but she was still mostly lacking in furniture... save for a few items she'd simply had to have and figured she could totally afford on that new salary. Crap, one more thing to worry about.
Good, he took the coffee and introduced himself again. "Right, Sebastian I knew that," April lied. She had looked up his name and all, so she really should've at least remembered it. Still, she didn't see any reason not to be polite at the least. He was meeting her and all. She looked around for a seat, resisting the urge to sit on the coffee table so she'd be opposite him. Instead she opted for the couch, twisting slightly to face him.
"Uh, no, no I definitely have not. Unless you count a Facebook page," she said, smiling slightly. She cupped her coffee with her hands, fidgeting. Maybe buying caffeine had been a dumb idea, considering that she was already sort of twitchy. "See, that's the thing. Like, obviously I know enough to Google some things. So I know there's all these," she gestured with one hand, "money making jobs online. Work from home, start your own business, all that. I was kind of hoping that maybe there was something there that would be entry level? I've got some skills and all. Oh," she nodded, "I have a resume that I could totally email. It's on a cloud drive and all. It was just, I hit this dead end. It seemed like about the only thing that a girl could do money on the internet was do porn, and that's just crazy, right?" April let out another laugh, before leaning to look at the computer. "I totally have the resume all ready. I thought I emailed it to you..."
April frowned, trying to remember if she'd actually done that or just thought about doing it so much that it felt like she had.
"Haha. Thanks," Sebastian remarked rather dryly. He looked at ease enough -- if a little distracted -- but her attempt at small talk was flattering considering he didn't think he had an ounce of design sense. "I just got rid of my last cardboard box nightstand last Fall. You'll get there." He mustered his most reassuring smile.
Gradually, what tension had been present in Sebastian slowly dissipated. Talking in terms of absolutes came much more naturally to him, and the reality was he probably couldn't do much more than feed her resume through HR with his own company. Still, this was outside his comfort zone, and much of his recent life had been about adventuring in that place. He regarded her with attentive and thoughtful eyes that never took the bait to dip down. It wasn't to say that that luscious crevice run down the middle of her plunging neckline wasn't enticing. He'd just trained himself not to stare; at least not in person.
"Ahhh," he murmured, sipping the coffee only to offer up yet another thankful smile. She had good taste.
"Yeah, the thing with a lot of that stuff..." Sebastian trailed off, shaking his head. He couldn't help but wonder how someone so drop-dead fucking gorgeous could've managed to stay so naive while earning a college degree. "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."
But then, as April went on, Sebastian couldn't resist. His eyes went wide with surprise when she joked about doing porn. "Well, honestly... As an attractive female, it probably is the quickest means to a reasonable payday. Don't get me wrong-" Sebastian cut himself off. "I'll be glad to send your resume to a few people, and you might land an interview for something that pays a little better." His shoulders lifted halfheartedly.
His heart was pounding all of a sudden; like he had skin in the game. Throughout life, Sebastian had always been straight laced. He'd never delved into an exchange like this with anything but the sincerest well-meaning intentions. April's plight had roused all kinds of interesting notions in the man's head, but it was her laughter -- that flirtatious smile -- as she'd joked about having to do porn. April didn't know it yet, but that was exactly what she wanted to do. With a little luck, maybe he could be the one to show her. At the very least, he'd know it existed, and that was enough to cause a stir in his jeans.
"But if you do start wanting to looking into some kind of-" Sebastian stumbled only briefly. "-modeling, I can probably help you get that going. Guy I use to work with said his girl was making around $600 for something like ten hours a week in front of a computer."
April nodded along with the comments about cardboard. This was precisely why she'd felt comfortable enough to approach Sebastian, really. He had just gone through this sort of thing; he understood how rough it could be. Though he didn't probably sign himself to what was about to become a major financial death trap in the whole lease agreement thing. April wasn't about to start sharing that with him just yet.
A lot of it was fake? "I pretty much figured,' April admitted. "If it's too good to be true, it probably is," she shrugged, a gesture that made her generous cleavage rise and fall ever so slightly. The girl's tendency toward "supportive" (re: confining) bras meant there'd be little movement even if she jumped up and down, but the relatively thin sundress still let some show through. "I figured it would be worth asking. I mean, if I could make thousands from home, you'd totally be the guy who'd know how to do it."
Half-flattery, half-truth. April figured that would be a good move to make here. He was apparently doing it himself, teasing her about being an attractive female and all. She let out a slight giggle at that, though her expression fell as he kept going, explaining her situation in bleak terms. April took a sip of her coffee, mind racing. It didn't sound like Sebastian had quite the golden ticket she'd been hoping for all this...
"Modeling?" she repeated, a large smile on her face. She was fighting back laughter. "Really, modeling? That money sounds good," too good to be true, which brought April's mind back to their earlier discussion, "but c'mon, nobody's going to want to pay me to be a model. I've got, like," she gestured at herself, "huge ears and these freakish big eyes. Plus, all models are these, like, skinny things with no," she paused for a moment, trying to think of the most appropriate word instead of something she'd burst out: "chest. They're rather flat. I'm rather... not," she let out a smile, then reached out to lightly touch his wrist. "So I appreciate the compliment, but I think we both know that my chances of making money on modeling are pretty much nonexistent."
She sighed again, tapping the cup. "I can only really afford a few hours a week too... maybe I should look into tutoring? They do that online, right?" Damn, now she was starting to sound desperate.
This was decidedly just go with it territory, and Sebastian was often quick on his feet when it came to improvising under pressure. This was just the sort of situation in which he could shine; if only because instincts kicked in and overrode everything instinctive in him. If not for that, he'd have been fumbling to form basic words given the unexpected contact of her hand upon his wrist and the fact that she lavished a few compliments on him. Even her body language was flirtatious, and that stood out as unusual for Sebastian. He resisted the urge to pinch himself.
"Yeah, well..." He trailed off, hunkering forward to perch elbows upon his knees whilst sturdy shoulders guided hands to meet in the middle, each supporting the coffee cup. He surveyed it thoughtfully for a moment, clearly in thought. Eventually his concentration broke, and he turned an apologetic but large smile on her.
"I think you're just being modest," Sebastian confessed before shaking his head. "But if you're not, let's be realistic. You're hot." Slate greys were surprisingly direct as they locked onto April's, and he purposedly went silent for a moment to let the seriousness of what he said sink in. He wasn't confessing love to her, but he had to know- Did she really not see it? No doubt guys were hitting on her a lot. How did that not sink in?
"Some girls cash in on that by running out and doing porn," He went on. No matter how naive she might be, surely April's vision of the pornography industry wasn't limited to things she might've heard ten years ago. "There are plenty that don't go that far, though." Leaning back for a moment, Sebastian took a sip of his coffee, then set it down and hunched into his computer. He began typing.
Moments later, he turned the thing around so that April could see its screen. The website was nothing more than a portal; a grid listing of a variety of women, none of whom were nearly as real looking as April. "They call 'em camgirls. It's pretty self explanatory. But these girls make some serious cash just by getting a guy following and then charging for private shows or memberships." Idly, then, he scrolled down for a few moments.
"This girl's charging $150 an hour to sit on a webcam with someone, and she's got nothing on you." Again, Sebastian lifted his gaze, smiling reassuringly before going on. "So you've gotta figure- No risk, completely self-directed, and it's fairly discreet."
Modest? April nearly laughed at that. Soon enough he was following it with a compliment that had her just shaking her head. "You're just being sweet," or, if April had to guess, he hadn't much exposure to girls and the one who was being perpetually nice to him looked prettier than most. Not that April thought she was ugly or anything: her eyes were expressive and she had a pretty cute face. Plus she worked to stay more or less in shape, with only the slightest bit of chub on. So, yeah, cute, maybe a little pretty, but hot? Not April Willows.
The mention of porn drew a snort out of her. "Right, porn," she said. "Every girl's dream," though she had to pause for a moment, staring at the computer. It did pay a lot of money, right? Was she that desperate yet? No, she hadn't, well, hadn't done anything like that. No way she could let... "it" happen on camera. Just, no way.
Wait, he'd been typing. Frowning, April set aside her coffee and scooted forward, pausing for a moment to blow some hair out of her eyes. The screen showed what was apparently several girls. They looked about April's age, some younger, but mostly right around there. And, well, she had to agree with Sebastian: she was at least as pretty as some of them. She looked at the screen, then at him. You just had to do some private shows with a guy?
HE clicked on one, and she turned. The girl kind of looked like her, only... with less breasts, maybe? April did think she was a little prettier, but hearing that from Sebastian made her flush slightly. "Oh, shut up," she said, lightly punching him on the arm. "But, I mean, I don't know if I could do... something like that," she gestured at the screen. "I can barely get my computer to work, remember? Plus, and trust me on this one, I can't act, like, at all. It's awful just watching me try," she frowned, looking to the girl's tip list. April licked her lips for a moment, shifting, wondering...
At this point, nudging April the rest of the way into exploring just how lucrative her beauty and naivette was a mission. Part of Sebastian wanted to do it if only to see that he could. The true surge of excitement, however, came in the twinkle of confidence that her words inspired. He could pull this off, and he was determined to do so; if only to prove it to himself. The sudden flush in her cheeks drew a wide little grin on his face.
"Yeah, I get it." He chuckled and rolled his eyes. He could identify with the idea that it'd be awkward; particularly for someone with her lack of experience. "It's awkward as Hell, but- I guess it's just a matter of how bad you need money."
On the other hand, she didn't have to bear the burden of all that confusing technology alone. Instincts said he was being too forward -- offering too much too quickly and thus showing his hand -- but that didn't stop him. He gently offered the macbook to her, offering to let her look more closely for herself at the plethora of gifts and wish lists of some of the women.
"If you decide to try something like that, I can probably help you with the computer parts." In smiling, his gaze never left April, but he still resisted the urge to look down over her; to savor the slight swells of her milky white calves there they led suggestively upward to the hem of her delightful little dress. "I don't think many of them act. It's really as simple as being yourself-" At least it was when you looked like April.
April very nearly berated him for teasing her. She understood a lot when it came to technology. Her facebook page was the model of professionalism, save for a few shots of some of her cuter outfits (and a bit where she chronicled a diet that did not help reduce unwanted fat, thank you very much). Plus she could save on clouds and do anything she needed for reports. This just went... beyond that.
And she did need money.
And she had someone who could help her with it.
Going into something like that was bad enough though, but asking a relative stranger to help out? Way too awkward. Plus, April was pretty sure that despite all his comments, he'd be sorely disappointed with her. The few times she'd actually tried, the guys had all made these weird noises and sort of jerked about. A few even sounded in pain! And the one time she'd managed to get a dick out to try and suck it, the stupid thing had started leaking all over her hand!
Still, Sebastian was here and she did need money. Maybe she could try this camming thing? It didn't seem quite like porn. She could always try it, use a different name or something. She just opened her mouth to maybe suggest it when Sebastian beat her to it. April smiled. "I might just take you up on that,' she said, looking over the macbook. She leaned slightly, studying it. "I did use one of these before, but I've just got a PC in the apartment. Well," she rolled her eyes, you know that."
And he said she didn't need to act, which was a plus. April scrolled again. "I mean, these girls look like they need a lot. I think I've got a webcam and mic? My parents got it for me to video chat when I went to college, and it's still laying in a box somewhere. So that's covered. But, like, see?" she pointed. "She's got a tripod, and there's no way she didn't do that without lights. I mean, this is a lot of money, Sebastian," she looked at him, "just to get started. And, like, I mean, some help is fine. But I couldn't be borrowing lighting equipment and stuff." She paused for a moment. "I mean, we could maybe work out something where you got a portion of what I make? Even set it up so it's off the top, so you get paid back. But," she paused to blow back some hair, "the initial investment. It's not like you just," she waved at the screen, "have this stuff laying around."
After all, why would he have a top of the line webcam or lights just ready to go?
Sebastian reclined into the couch, never taking his eyes off of April. Instead, he let her go through the motions of thinking it through. Much to his delight, she was truly considering it, and he couldn't help but savor the scrunch in her noes or the wide, attentive curiosity in her eyes as she clicked about on the device.
"Most of 'em have webcams and microphones built right in anymore," he asserted calmly when she lamented her bare minimum solution to the problem. "And some of those girls are using phones," he reassured with confidence, not even finding a sliver of self consciousness in the fact that he was more or less confessing to having dabbled in this world before she'd asked about it. She didn't care if he had.
"But yeah," he trailed off, stifling his grin for fear of appearing a little too overjoyed. Would he be willing to work something out with April? The caveman part of his brain couldn't help but go the porno route. Yeah, we can work something out, he pictured himself saying nonchalantly, just before he actually laid a hand on her and got the ever-loving shit slapped out of him. Sebastian wasn't that confident yet.
He was, however, inspired, and he'd absolutely spent hundreds -- even thousands -- on things he'd enjoyed far less than he'd enjoy this little experiment. Quietly, he continued to regard the young woman, letting her finish speaking entirely and then heaping on a few moments of silence. It was important that it looked like he was really thinking about it.
"Well, you're right. I don't," Sebastian offered apologetically. Brows furrowed, he looked to the ceiling and seemingly found an answer. His features lit up a little, and then he nodded. "But I do have enough to cover it, and-- Like you said -- that could always come back off the top. I don't think we'd need to spend more than about five hundred, and you could pay that off in a week."
Truth be told, he was ready to do a lot more than be this young woman's tech guy. He'd seen enough young women rise to wild popularity to know what worked. He was going to market her; to help her earn the money she desperately needed and maybe make a little for himself. On top of getting to see her go through all those motions? That was a damn good deal by Sebastian's standards.
"What do you think?" Again he looked to her, admiring ever facet of her struggle with the decision. This whole thing could -- and probably would -- fall apart at any moment, but the chance alone was exhilarating.
Okay, this was sounding more and more doable. April had rigged a webcam and used Skype before. This was just like that, only a bit sexier. She'd just have to let the guys know that she really sucked at acting and was new. Somebody would probably think that was super hot, right? There was a niche for just about everything. If some ditzy coed could manage it on a phone, then April could definitely do it.
She was already starting to nod, confidence building. Yeah, she could keep it classy. Just, like, chat with guys, maybe tease them a little. Flash some bra, flash some panty, maybe a little boob. All very doable. Of course, to do it right, she'd need more equipment and money, neither of which she nor Sebastian seemed to have. He offered what amounted to a partnership.
"So, like, a partnership," April said, nodding. 'You'd be the tech guy, like, helping get the right equipment and all, while I'm the talent." She rolled her eyes. "Or, well, most like I'm the body." She shifted again, feeling a bit odd referring to herself like that. Then again, she was taking ownership, right? Sebastian seemed at least willing enough. He even seemed to think she could pay him back the five hundred in a week. If she could make that much, she'd definitely be able to make her rent, and afford to eat, and likely put some money back into the showing. A quick scroll showed that these girls hardly repeated outfits, and April didn't exactly have that wide a selection.
"Yeah, you might have to help me, like, a lot," admitted April. "I don't even know where to start. Okay, that's a lie. I just sign up at one of these sites and turn the camera on. But, like, I mean, I don't mean to be offensive, but you seem to know this. Like, maybe in addition to doing tech, you could sort of advise?" She flashed a hopeful smile, hoping that she could get this off the ground. Normally she wouldn't even consider, but Sebastian seemed to know exactly what he was doing and she needed money in, like, a month, so...
"Yeah, a partnership." Sebastian was only too happy with such an arrangement. April was all but sure to succeed; if only he could keep her on the right track. As she went on, those doubts were assuaged. She didn't just want his help with techie things? She wanted him to advise. More and more, this impulsive little endeavor felt as though it was sure to pay off. By the time she finished, he was wearing his most uncomfortable smile. As it turned out, Sebastian could be a decent enough actor when he needed to be.
"Yeah, sure. I've worked with a lot of different people to start online businesses," he went on nonchalantly. "And this's a business when you get right down to it." Setting his near-finished coffee down, Sebastian slid along the couch a little closer to April. He'd make a gesture to take the laptop back, and if she offered it, he'd proceed to open up a new text file.
"It'll take us a couple days to get the things that we need, but that's fine. You'll need to take some time and really think about how you want to go about this, too." His fingertips danced along the keyboard as he began spelling out a few items for the shopping list: A couple lights, a screen, a couple wireless microphones, and several high capacity memory cards: Because Sebastian was absolutely keeping hard copies of this goldmine.
"Some girls just like to put on a show, and sites let them charge a membership. That's one route to go, and it's nice because you'll have recurring income. It just goes a little slower, as we have to work on building a reputation and establishing that base. It's a lot of work up front." Sebastian paused, jotting down another item on his list. (clothes)
"There're other ways to do it, but I think this's the most realistic. We go out there, put up your flag, and treat everyone who takes an interest like they're the only viewer. It won't take long for that to gain some traction." Sebastian went quiet, then, as he had a revelation: April would be a hit with her own Twitch stream. No, she probably knew nothing about video games, and she most definitely couldn't be inappropriate there. Still, what better way to get a lot of exposure to a ripe audience?
"Do you know anything about video games?" It was a shot in the dark, but Sebastian wasn't about to try and make such a decision on his own. April needed to be on board; to fully understand if she was going to make it work.
Partnership. That sounded doable, and kind of what she'd come here for. April could work with Sebastian, let him make a little money and have her get enough so she wouldn't go out on the street. Okay, yeah, there was going to be some awkwardness, since she'd be stripping at the least (and probably masturbating fairly frequently, a thought that made someone who mostly left herself alone flush slightly).
"Right, business," she agreed, nodding. "Get the stuff together, get this going. I.." she hesitated, wondering how much to tell him. Fuck it, he was going to help, right?" I kind of... need the money like, right away?" She winced. "I'm chewing through my savings really quick. So if there's, like, something we could do while we're still waiting on the equipment, maybe, like, teasing shows and tell them more is coming?"
That seemed to be something that could work. Get a little interest going while they were still getting established on a site. That sounded very doable. Set up the flag, which April sort of understood: she was already nodding along. Maybe she'd get lucky and she'd mostly just have to talk to shy guys. April could totally do that: heck, it was why she was hitting it off well with Sebastian. And it would be kind of sweet to maybe let them see a real girl kinda naked, right?
"Video games?" she repeated. "Like Mario and stuff? Uh, I played, like, some games in college in, like, common rooms and stuff. I've got a few games on my phone, and stuff on Facebook...' she trailed off. "I really don't think I could play video games for money," she let out a giggle, "unless guys are really interested in seeing a sort of cute girl fumble her way through games."
fSo if there's, like, something we could do while we're still waiting on the equipment, maybe, like teasing shows and tell them more is coming?
Sebastian's eyes lit up, and still he resisted the urge to smile like an idiot. Had he won the lottery? Died and awakened in something like Heaven? He couldn't know, and as he looked across at April, he couldn't make himself care. She was coming off like a little bit of a spaz, yet somehow the routine just completed the picture. She was adorable. And she was desperate. Fuck, maybe he really had died.
"We can probably do something like that. We could record it with my laptop," he volunteered, and then he habitually went to save the notes file he'd created. Ordering stuff would be a priority, but -- to her point -- he couldn't just lean on that alone. Things would have to keep moving along, or maybe April would lose interest or nerve. Besides, she needed money imminently, and -- as much as he'd like to -- Sebastian didn't have the guts to proposition her quite yet. Still, he'd have happily maxed out his ATM limit for something as simple as a striptease from April.
"It's just half an idea, but I'm telling you... Guys rule the internet. You've got the perfect look for a nerdy video game girl." He laid the idea out, but his enthusiasm was difficult to hold back. "And it's not one of those things where you have to be 'good' at video games to make money. Rather, it's the idea that you want to socialize with guys and let them watch you while you're doing it." Grinning, Sebastian let that set in for a moment.
"Think of it like this: We do your teaser and get you going on the adult site, and in the meanwhile, we start promoting a video game stream. It doesn't really matter what the game is or how good you are; so long as you're willing to chat while you do it. Girls who do this end up with a lot of followers..." Sebastian trailed off, studying April's reaction carefully.
"It's basically a whole other way for guys to find out about you, and then they find out you have this other channel." By the end, Sebastian shrugged. He feigned apathy, then shifted back to her original point.
"Getting a teaser out there for your real channel is important, too. How about we do something casual? An interview? Just something where I'll talk with you, and you can open up about yourself a little."
"Yeah! That could totally work!" April said. "And we could, like, put it up on channels and explain to people that we'll be releasing content in little bursts and how we're trying to get everything together," April nodded. This was sounding more and more doable, and more and more profitable, by the passing moment. Though she still couldn't wrap her head around the idea that many guys would want to pay her to take off clothing. It wasn't like she had stripper looks or something.
But Sebastian did seem like the kind of guy who would know, and he was being cool about it. The mention of being a nerdy video game girl had April letting out a slight laugh. "Seriously? Like, two thirds of that is true," she had been a bit of a nerd throughout even college, spending her time working and studying. You didn't wind up an Intern at Dynamics Branding by not standing out in that regard. "I could probably play something. I know enough about video games and if they're cool with my learning," she shrugged.
Plus, it did sound like it could be fun. Chat with guys, play some games. Promote that kind of stream. They'd be busy, but April had done all nighters in college and this didn't seem like that much work. Get the followers who liked her on the game to come over to her more private channel to pay for more. "We'll probably want to have me, like, dressing in nerd-girl stuff," she said, nodding. "Oh! I can give you some start up money to pick out some of the stuff! I don't mean to be mean or anything, but, like, I can't afford to fuck this up."
April nodded. "oh, and interview would be great! Yeah, let's do that," she gathered herself up, almost rising up. A part of her was still screaming about how crazy it was, but she was working to drown out that little voice inside. She needed money. This would work. Desperate times called for desperate measures. "Wait," she held up a hand, "if I'm going to try and be all, nerd girl, then I probably need to dress the part or something? Like, this dress is cute and all, but it doesn't scream 'hi, I am a girl who plays video games and also you can pay to see me naked'." She gestured at her dress, putting on a smile that was half nerves, half excitement. She was at least starting to get into this, which had to count for something,
Although Sebastian was on top of the situation, he couldn't help but appreciate that April kept him on his toes. Each time he got the nerve to try and manipulate the situation into something, she had a knack for throwing a wrench at him. He could respect that. Hubris had gotten the best of him on many other occasions, yet the challenge that April provided was serving him in that it kept him humble. He even shook his head.
"Look, it's not a big deal. I'll get some stuff for you, and we can settle up once the money starts coming in. Sound good?" If nothing else, Sebastian supposed she'd know that, in a worst case, he believed in her. Even if he never got it back, it was almost worth it just to get to spectate; to watch this all unfold.
And, at long last, Sebastian took the bait. Slowly, his clouded eyes lazed down over her form in the little sundress, both unwilling to deny to himself that she looked gorgeous but also incapable of disputing the point that she made. Dressed the way that she was, April looked like his bombshell college graduate neighbor, but the vision they were pitching was for something different. Either community would surely be quick to call out a poser, and that meant being smart. He nodded.
"You're absolutely right. I think I've got some t-shirts that would fit the bill. They'll be a little-" He cut himself off and snickered. "Well, a lot big on you. The smallest I have are probably larges." And, of course, t-shirts weren't all that sexy. It took a couple moments of silence, but Sebastian decided to go for it.
"Maybe you can lose the bra underneath?" He resisted the urge to relent; to apologize for the fact that he was grasping at straws when it came to ways they could make this sexy. Instead, he emphasized what she could do. "That'll sex it up a little bit. Those're worth showing off," he added with a small and inadvertently handsome grin.
April frowned. It felt like a big deal to her, but he was brushing it off. She was almost tempted to insist or to try and turn the conversation or something but, well, she was, well, still quite desperate. So she kept silent on the matter, instead plowing forward with the conversation, trying to take some control over the situation. If he wanted to purchase her clothing too, well, she'd have to give the size, she supposed.
"Yeah, that could work," she said, nodding. "Some guys find it cute when a girl wears their shirts. Plus, if, like, your shirts are big enough, then I wouldn't have to wear pants, which should be hot enough on its own, probably," she flushed a little at that. After all, she was talking about going pantsless with a near stranger. Then again, if she was going to do this, she was going to be pantsless with a lot of strangers in the near future. "So, let's pick out something kind of large and popular to work with," she rose up off the couch, smoothing down her dress. "And I'll, like, text you my sizes or something later," she nodded. Not like he couldn't all but guess.
The next question had her hesitating. Lose the bra? she fidgeted, frowning. She didn't like going without support, not considering how well endowed she was. Okay, she was probably blowing a "C" up to sound like "DD" but still, they felt absolutely gargantuan when most of the rest of her was, well, not. She shifted again, pursing her lip. "I... guess," she finally relented. "I mean, I'm going to be a lot less than braless by the end of most of the vids, right?" she nodded again, before gesturing into the back of the apartment. "So, might as well show me the bedroom and pick out a shirt, right?"
Because April wanted to keep the momentum going, not least of all because she knew if she stopped she'd start thinking about what she was doing and stop cold.
So, might as well show me the bedroom and pick out a shirt, right?
Sebastian said not a word. Rather, he was on his feet a moment later, towering down over April but not closing the distance between them. Rather, he regarded her with a small and restrained smile, then gave a simple nod and gestured for her to follow him. He continued speaking as he led her down a hallway whose walls were, for the most part, undecorated aside from a couple framed Star Wars posters.
"I'm thinkin' we do something really quaint for the teaser. Probably just turn the laptop camera on, sit it in your lap, and let you talk to it. That way you're not showing too much just yet, and it looks real." Yes, and looking real was key when you were trying to sell the girl next door fantasy. That was exactly April's schtick, and he'd see to it that they leveraged it appropriately. All the while, Sebastian's heart was pounding. He was leading her -- April -- to his bedroom. At her fucking request! Again, he had to talk down the side of him that would've forked over several hundred right then and now.
"Sorry for the mess," he joked with half a smile, pushing the door open and revealing a relatively dark bedroom. The large, vaulted ceilings of the bedroom would've been well lit naturally if only the drapes on its windows were drawn. A king sized bed was askew; littered with blankets and sheets that had been recently changed but rarely made. He flipped a switch and turned on two pedestal lights -- one to either side of the bed's headboard -- before leading the way across and to his closets. There, he opened its doors and began plucking a few t-shirts. He handed each to her.
"Whadd'ya think? Anything look promising there?" With a raised brow, Sebastian paused, only too willing to keep digging through his closet if he needed to.
Quaint? April almost giggled at that word. Nothing about this struck her as being all that quaint. Still, she was nodding along with the general idea. Sit the laptop on her lap or something, talk into the camera while getting interviewed, something along those lines. It all made a lot of sense to her.
To the bedroom! "It's fine," April insisted, fighting a smile as she saw the rather ramshackle appearance of the place compared to the much cleaner living room. "I'm betting you weren't exactly expecting me to come in here." She glanced around, trying not to be too snoopy but unable to hold back quite all of her curiosity. His bed looked large, so maybe he shared it with a girlfriend or something. There were some nerdy paraphernalia around that April sort of recognized. Soon he had the shirts out, and she was looking through them.
"Classically..." she said, pursing her lips. "Oh, because. Okay, I get it. Let's pretend I didn't need a moment," she set that aside, only to snort at the next one. "See, that one, I get," she said, sitting it a little higher than the rest. "That guy looks cute," she pointed to the "Praise the Sun" chibi shirt, "but I have no idea who that is, and I can just see getting blasted for that. I kinda like the cute girl one," she pointed to it, "and I kinda wonder why you have it," she gave him a slightly teasing smile before reaching for the Pi shirt. "I should probably wear this. I get it, and it's kinda in my nerdy wheelhouse sort of thing. We're supposed to be looking real, so I don't want to be like 'oh hey, here's my totally cool girl character shirt that I totally know the name of, yeah'!"
April nodded, then turned to Sebastian, an expectant look on her face. After all, she'd need to change, and no way was she doing that with him still in the room, not when she had to take off her bra. No way.
I'm betting you weren't exactly expecting me to come in here.
Sebastian couldn't help but smirk. He shook his head cooly, dismissing a remark which again quickened his pulse with little more than a stifled chuckle. "Never crossed my mind," he offered, watching with a strange sort of delight as she sifted through the offered shirts.
I kinda wonder why you have it provoked another grin. "There are a lot of guys who're into girl gamers," he offered, not bothering to explain that he'd bought the shirt primarily in hopes of impressing a coworker on an outing. It hadn't exactly fizzled, but at this point he was fairly sure she'd friend zoned him. Somehow, this little encounter was taking the associated sting right out of seeing that shirt again.
"Cool. I like it," he went on, studying April for a moment. Granted, the symbols on the shirt weren't exactly high level math, yet the fact that she got it was a surprise. He'd make it a point to probe a little more; to figure out what, exactly, she was doing over at Dynamics Branding, but he'd save that for later.
It was only after a few moments that, somewhat awkwardly, Sebastian realized why she was looking so expectantly at him. "Oh, right." With a small grin, the man excused himself, quietly backing out of the bedroom and shutting its door. Even better, April could hear the wooden planks in the hall creak as he made his way down the hall and into the living room. He started looking around, ultimately deciding that the spot on the couch he'd been sitting at probably had the best lighting. From there, he sat down on its edge and began pecking on the computer, opening up the webcam app and testing the audio. Some part of him still expected April to back out before this got really good, and the busywork helped keep an overactive mind distracted.
Did it never cross his mind? April somehow doubted that. Unless he was gay, which she wasn't totally discounting, though she also didn't quite believe it, given how very knowledgeable he happened to be about camgirls and women's clothing and apparently whether or not guys were into gamer girls. April shrugged: she'd been nerdy enough to get a lot of attention from some of those guys, but like most female nerds, she was generally more interested in her own individual interests to really play it up for attention.
Good, the shirt would work alright, and that was settled. Sebastian took a bit longer than April would have figured to leave but, well, it was his bedroom. She took a deep breath after she left, feeling a slight tremble go through her. Was she really going to do this? Work with a stranger to pose naked or worse for a camera? "Well, if you don't, you're going to end up living in a box. Or worse: moving back in with your parents," April had already started moving, undoing her light dress and gently removing it. She folded it a few times before setting it on the bed. April then reached for the Pi shirt, before remembering Sebastian's suggestion.
"Right. No bra," she said. April took another deep breath, shaking herself off a little. Then she reached back, undoing the pretty floral yellow bra she'd been wearing. Her breasts almost immediately bounded out: the girl had a tendency to shop a little small to try and confine her chest somewhat. Freed, they were rather impressive, nice white mounds of titflesh with that pucker at the end. Soon enough April slid a shirt on over them, settling it in.
"Hmm," she tugged the bottom, frowning. It did cover, but not as much as April would want. She tried adjusting, but she was definitely going to be flashing yellow flower pantie if she bent over or sat wrong. "Well, it's supposed to be sexy," she mumbled, smoothing it over and flushing. She should've worn sexier panties. She thought for a moment, glancing over at Sebastian's drawers. Maybe he wore briefs? No, she was already wearing his clothes. Plus, he acted like nobody would see her panties.
"Okay," she called, before slowly coming out, "I'm all ready but, like, don't make fun, okay? "she was still tugging the shirt down as she stepped back into the room. "The shirt's a little shorter than I figured, but I can probably just tuck my legs in. It's still cute enough for the interview, right? Super casual and nerdy?"
While waiting, Sebastian was up and down a couple times, unable to resist the urge to fidget given that the hottie from downstairs was in the process of undressing in his bedroom. Was she really going to pop out of there in nothing but his t-shirt and a pair of panties? The top hadn't been that long, but then she was pretty small. Whatever was coming, he was more than ready to see it.
Further, he still had facilities enough to keep in mind that this could always be better. Case in point: He proceeded to the fridge, gathering a hard cider, a beer, and then stopped by the thermostat only to set it five degrees lower.
His rationale was simple: April plus no bra and a cold room would equal infinitely more interesting video footage. Sebastian sat the cider down next to his laptop; whose screen was now filled with the oversized recliner sitting in front of it. The webcam was recording, as he didn't intend to lose a moment of this experience. In sitting back down and sipping the beer he'd gotten for himself, he couldn't help but think about recording her with his phone as well; if only for personal use.
And then she emerged.
This time, Sebastian couldn't control his reaction. He went wide-eyed and swallowed hard, once again letting his gaze laze down over the immaculate specimen before him. He'd thought that maybe April was simply modest in their brief exchange before, but the self-consciousness obvious in her body language drove the point home: She had no idea what she was working with.
"Make fun? God damn," he joked with a small smile. Again, he made no effort as his eyes wandered down her long legs, admiring the little bit of extra meat in her hips and thighs.
"You look great. Exactly what we need; something that someone can believe you'd be sitting around at home in." Again, Sebastian nodded, and then he gestured to the recliner. "You ought to sit whatever way's comfortable. The camera doesn't even need to see below your waist just yet." But, of course, he was going to thorughly enjoy the fact that he did.
Was that his making fun of her? April frowned for a moment, not certain. his eyes were certainly traveling her body, which she really could only take for a good sign. it made her flush a little, but, well, a compliment was a compliment, she guessed. Also he's probably not gay. Gay guys don't generally look girls over like that. I think.
She nodded along with his assertions, still not quite believing them them totally but figuring she looked cute enough for what they were doing. She headed over to the recliner, sitting down gently, making sure all the while to keep the front of the shirt tugged as low as she possibly could. This very nearly showed off her impressive chest, but she was far more focused on making sure he didn't see those embarrassing panties. When she got into the chair, she shifted, tucking her feet up and under her body, effectively sitting sideways on them. Another adjustment put the shirt in front, hiding everything though still showing a lot of bared leg. April shifted her head slightly, just making sure her hair got into place.
"Okay, I think this will work," she said. "It's sort of comfortable, but I really don't want anyone to see," she gestured down there. "I'm not exactly ready for that? Or, like, maybe a peek? We don't want to give away the show before we start selling tickets, right?"
April let out a nervous laugh, before taking a deep breath. She held it, unknowingly expanding her chest slightly. Then she slowly let it go, feeling a lot of the tension leaving her body along with the air.
"Good," Sebastian approved, having admired April a little more openly as she situated herself in the seat. He did, however, resist the urge to try and glimpse her panties although he did manage to catch a hint of yellow as she sat herself down. He regarded her carefully for a moment more, then took another sip of his beer.
"Right. We'll keep this pretty basic. I want to focus on establishing who you are, what you're doing, and why. So with that in mind, we really need to figure out what to call you. I'm assuming you don't want the internet to know your real name. Ever taken one of those pornstar name quizzes?" He shot the joke along with a sardonic grin followed closely by another sip of beer.
"And how 'real' do you want to be about this? We need to talk about who you are and what you're doing, but those things don't have to be the real you, y'know? The idea is just for the audience to feel like they're getting to know a real person." Sebastian almost felt a little self conscious. He was definitely giving himself away, and he somehow expected that she'd be surprised by his attention to the intricacies of such a thing. At the very least, he supposed it further conveyed his familiarity with the subject matter, but did that portray him as a perv?
"I can ask you questions, or you can just talk to the camera. Long term, I think you're probably going to need a camera-man, though." He let that hang, gauging her carefully for any little reaction. Ultimately, Sebastian could only hope she'd go along with the idea, as it meant he'd get a firsthand view of all the fun.
"Can't say I've taken any of those quizzes," she admitted, smiling a little and shifting just slightly. Sebastian was giving her a lot to take in, only some of which she'd previously considered. "Well, like I said earlier, I can't act, like, at all, so if we go for anything other than just me on camera, people are going to find out in a hurry. I think I'll stick pretty much to the truth, except, I don't know, maybe lying a little about how cute guys who are tipping me are or how good something feels," she flushed again, before taking another breath. She had to get over that, and in a hurry.
Then came another offer for help. That had April smiling her head lowering slightly. "You're being way too nice about this," she insisted. "But, I mean, yeah, long term we'll probably want a camera guy or something. I don't want to bug you all the time for this; you've got your work too and all." She paused to consider again. "Definitely going to have you ask the questions this time along, since that should help keep me on track. Plus I can sort of say you're, like, my benefactor and all, so that will help cover that if it comes up in the future."
which seemed to be thinking ahead, at least to April's mind. she was, however, a little uncertain as to relying on Sebastian too much. He was certainly nice enough, and didn't seem threatening. But she was going to give him a lot of control at this rate. Then again: did April really have any choice right now? She couldn't exactly afford the time to seek out a cameraman, and really, the less people in the room when she stripped down, the more comfortable she'd be. This was already crossing several lines as it was.
"And, uh, name, right," April leaned forward to the computer, her own fingers flying. the girl clearly knew how to type and use a search engine, and in a matter of moments had pulled up a thread. "This one says... use a pet's name?" April let out a slight laugh. "Well, my family had a dog named Lucky? So I could maybe use that and, oh! I could just use your last name, right? That way if we get mail or messages or something it wont' look too weird. You can just be all: that's my sister or something." April nodded. "Yeah, so, like, Lucky..." she trailed off, realizing that she didn't know Sebastian's last name either.
