Kaitlyn had had enough of the city. She needed a change. After Mich she had given up on men. That was the last straw. So now she finds herself here. A town in the Iceland mountains. A town by the name of Vahlaloth. She had come here on a whim. Well, she feels it was a whim but it was as if she was drawn here.
She had taken a job at the local Newspaper printers. Not a very glamours job but after the 9-5 she had it was like a paid holiday, and the cost of living here was very reasonable. She even found a lovely 2 storie home. It wasn't much but it was...cozy. When she saw the ad again something called to her and she just had to have it. Even before she saw it she knew, somehow, she had to have it.
Now she stood outside holding a box while wearing jeans and a long sleeve poloneck. Most of her few possessions were already inside. There were just a few boxes left. She insisted the mover-men leave the rest. She was getting very uncomfortable with the leers she got from one of the greasy movers so she sent them away after they had moved the few things that was too heavy for her to move.
She nudge the door open with her rump and swaggered in. The place was bigger inside than out...or so it seemed. Good lighting and spacious. She carried the box to what was going to be her living room before she went into the kitchen to make a cup of tea. No wait...a glass of wine would be better. She poured a healthy helping of Pinotage and went upstairs to her bedroom and lay on the yet to be covered bed and sipped the wine while reading. Not long she fell asleep. She wasn't sure if it was the jetlag or the wine or the moving but she could just not stay awake.
