Hermione Granger suppressed a sigh of frustration. Yet another class where yet another stupid Slytherin got top marks. Everyone knew why as well. There was no way Millicent Bulstrode could get top marks in Charms, and as for Pansy Parkinson getting the potions award... that girl could barely make a decent cup of tea let along felix felicis.
It was so unfair. Not to mention the fact that, for some reason, she actually seemed to be struggling more with the work. If she did n't know better, she might have suspected that she was getting different work to do, but that would be ridiculous.
Ron had summed it up at lunch.
"Face it Hermione," He mumbled over a mouthful of ham sandwich. "Unless you're willing to provide 'special services' to the professors, you're not going to get the top marks every lesson. The rules have all changed since you all got so .. you know...shaggable." Ron blushed.
And it looked more and more like Ronald was right. She had written twice to Dumbledore requesting to discuss the matter, but he not responded. She was seriously considering writing to the Minsitry. It was sexist, immoral and bloody unfair!
