So this concept is a bit out of the norm for me. I do love yaoi, but have never really dabbled into it too much outside of one or two smaller attempts. But with summer break looming and me wanting to get a couple rps going, I figured I could as well give it a shot and see if I can find any partners for it.
First things first:
I myself am female so I might not always be able to get the male perspective 100% spot on. But I do consider myself reasonably adaptable and believe I should be able to get the picture across properly more often than not. And also, for that matter, I'm not looking to play as or opposite a feminine guy. I'd prefer this to be more of a genuine boy romance than anything.
A rule or two:
There really aren't many rules to speak off. I don't have many, if any, in terms of content and am willing to go as dark and depraved as my partner wishes, be it non-con, violence or bad ends as long as things stay within forum rules. My only slight turn-off are super vanilla fluffy romances because I enjoy grittiness and a sense of dark drama or doom in my rps.
Also, I rp through pms and usually write around a handful paragraphs, and while I don't need my partner to match my length I'd prefer at least receiving about two or so paragraphs per response.
As far as my characters go. I generally prefer playing the younger character in an age-difference scenario, somebody with a bratty attitude who is quite confident and boyish. Ideally I'd love them to be on the grubby side and rough around the edges, who live in difficult circumstances and are forced to rely on themselves above all, think like orphans, runaways etc.
Concerning content, I enjoy both smut and action. It could be a smut heavy story, or a completely smut-less one, depending on my partner's preference.

Serial Killer/Obsessed fan:
Your character would be a serial killer who manages to constantly evade the police, mine a teen who for one reason or another is truly drawn towards the serial killer and develops and almost fanatic addiction with him. We would have to expand on the 'why' and 'how' a bit more, maybe he is jealous of the attention the victims receive, or he sees some sort of twisted beauty in them or so, but the bottom line is the teen decides to look for the killer, hoping that 'artist' can give his own life some purpose, or perhaps even believing that he himself is the only person alive who truly understands the beauty the killer tries to create, thus the only one who can help him achieve perfection by becoming his masterpiece.
Scientist/experiment:
A father/son pairing about the father being an accomplished and ambitious scientist looking to develop a particularly groundbreaking cure/disease. Except, in his efforts he crosses the law, experimenting on humans and is expelled. Yet being too close to success to stop, he builds his own basement laboratory to continue his work with his son, intent on proving himself, being a keen and willing subject to his father's work.
Ninja Student:
Set in a medieval japan era, I'd like to play some sort of ninja apprentice. Being on the more overeager side, he overhears his masters talking about a particularly difficult job and promptly decides to sneak off to succeed with that mission and prove himself worthy and capable. Yet the mission is way over his head and he ends up biting off much more than he can chew, instead getting caught by his supposed target, leading perhaps to slavery, corruption or human trafficking.
Lost Prince:
Set in either medieval europe or medieval india, my character would be the prince/heir of a powerful lord, but he is excessively spoiled and arrogant to the point where he shames his family in front of honored guests. The parents grow fed up with his attitude and kick him out since he needs to learn humility and what life really is about, not to mention they have several more sons ready to inherit the lord's lands. Worse, they kick him out during a visit in the capital of a foreign state where nobody knows him.
Though the spoiled prince is scornful, he soon gets confronted with harsh reality and what it means to fend for oneself without money or belongings.
Western civil war:
This would be set in a historical western setting, around the start of the civil war, my character is the youngest son of the wealthiest family in the region/town, a bubbly, happy and carefree personality. Yet as the war breaks out and his parents/older siblings ride off to join the army, he is left behind in care of a less wealthy family who's head is a savvy and scheming business man always looking to further his own aspirations. Seeing a prime opportunity to make money, the foster father forces the wealthy son into local prostitution with several clients being willing to pay very good money given my character's family name. Your character would likely be one of the clients standing out in one way or another, be it through additional malice or pity and help.
Or alternatively your character could be a traveler whom stumbles upon mine and takes a liking, eventually deciding to help and rescue mine and take him along to find his family, though the traveler, too, might have some more naughty ideas for during the travels.
Drug Addict:
A fairly dark and straight-forward story, your character is a drug addict who was disowned by his family once his dad left his mother to marry a new woman. His mother heartbroken, and them without any money, your character spirals into addiction, depression and violence, drops out of school and gets into bad circles. Worse, my character, his younger brother, is indirectly responsible for the dad meeting his new wife during a school event, which the older brother subconsciously blames the younger one for. Yet the younger brother is unaware of that and still is very fond of his older brother, wanting to spend as much time as possible with the older brother and his friends, both to prove himself as mature as them and because he sees his older brother getting sicker and sicker and wants to help. Yet involuntarily the older brother blames the younger as the source of all suffering, resulting in jealousy, spite and scorn, directing his pent up emotions and aggression towards his younger brother. Subsequently that leads to corruption, coercion, domestic abuse and violence at the hands of the older brother and his friends, the older brother methodically dragging the younger down with him.
Native American:
In that setting I'd want to play a young native american warrior, the son of his tribe's chief, who wants to prove himself a proper warrior but has an unhealthy knack of biting off more than he can chew, though his heart is in the right place. Your character is a settler owning a wealthy horse breeding farm breeding only the highest quality of horses, and my native, having a natural affinity for horses, has been secretly spying on that farm for quite some time, finally deciding to steal the horse that particular caught his eyes and rescue it from 'slavery'. Except it's him who gets caught instead by the farm owner, leading to conflict as the settlers and natives aren't exactly on friendly terms.
Suicide Hunter:
Your character is a suicide hunter/hobby psychologist who spends a lot of time at local suicide hot-spots (forest/cliffs) looking to catch anybody contemplating suicide before they can go through with it. His main goal is to be there for them and prove emotional support, ideally talk them out of their suicide and help them to get on with life, however, if he runs into somebody hellbent on dieing, he offers to let them get through with it as long as he gets personal compensation in the form of a tape which he can sell on underground to fund his work.
Unlikely Savior:
Set in a medieval world your character is the royal prince who visits one of his father's newly conquered strongholds. But as he inspects the town he is suddenly ambushed by suicidal loyalists that want revenge on the royal bloodline. The prince barely manages to escape the initial attack and has to escape into the maze of backalleys with a handful guards while pursued by the assassins. That's where he runs into my character, a poor orphan in desperate need of money who sees a golden opportunity and tries to pickpocket valuable coin from the fleeing prince. Except, the orphan unfortunately collides with one of the assassins that had closed in, involuntarily resulting in the orphan saving the prince's life. And as a reward he is admitted to the palace to receive his reward, whatever that might be. Could go several ways from innocent romance to the prince being a closet sadist looking for a new toy.
War:
Nothing too concrete but I was thinking perhaps a rp set in a war, something like world war 2 perhaps with your character being a german soldier. For example, my character could be a young rebel soldier who is trapped on the frontline and can't handle the pressure of war and seeks refuge in an abandoned building, trying to escape death and hide out the battle. Except he runs into your enemy character who either had the same idea of escape or saw mine escaping there and decided to follow.
Detective's son:
Your character is a serial killer who manages to elude the police while mine is the son of the local police chief/detective in charge of hunting down the serial killer. Though not initially invested in the hunt, things get personal as the latest victim turns out to be the son's best friend. Vowing revenge, the detective son starts hunting the serial killer as well.
Babysitter:
Your character is a young adult who looks to make some quick money with babysitting over a week or two of vacation, my character being the spoiled and arrogant son of a reasonably wealthy family whom is convinced he is much too old for a babysitter and intent on letting yours know by making his life hell and have him quit on his own so the son can spend the remaining days alone.
Something to prove:
Your character is a wealthy single dad who spends most of his time either working or with business partners/friends, not really interacting with his son at all. My character, his son, is quite starved for attention as a result, which results in him growing rebellious in an attempt to get any kind of response, negative attention being better than none at all after all. One way being to deliberately crash one of his dad's business meetings/poker evenings to force his dad to give him the attention he craves. His dad, of course, is less than pleased and believes it's time to educate his son with a more hands on approach.
Substitute Teacher:
Set in the american south, either in modern or 20th century, your character is a black substitute teacher who, against his will, was assigned to a region with lingering and deeply-rooted racial tendencies. My character is a student in his new class, the son of the wealthiest and most influential family in town, making him the ringleader of a core group of hostile students that refuse to acknowledge a black teacher. Yet, though my character seemingly has nothing but hatred for yours and tries to make the teacher's job as miserable as he can at every turn, my character also has oddly kinky fantasies involving the teacher.

Set in a medieval kingdom, the king organises the largest tournament in history in the honor of the birth of his heir. Warriors from all over the country seek to join for glory while any noble family from every corner of the realm is invited to join the feast. My character is the youngest son of one particularly powerful, noble southern family (think like Dorne from Game of Thrones), who has trained swordfighting all his life yet never gotten an opportunity to prove himself in a proper battle. Wanting to finally do so and having the prime opportunity with the large tourney right around the corner, he sneaks off wearing a mask to secretly join the tourney as an anonymous mystery knight to win glory and make a name for himself. Yet it isn't until he is on the battlefield that he realizes things may prove more difficult than anticipated.
I was thinking something fairly dark for this one with a bad end.
Scrapmetal Mechanic:
Set in a futuristic space opera setting, my character is a grubby junkyard orphan who lives in solitude on a junkyard in a wartorn zone, spending his days building robots out of all the junk and drones the soldiers drop and hacking into government/soldier connections to mess with them. A small group of soldiers whom he particularly toyed with ended up tracking his signal back to the junkyard and, assuming it's a a hostile enemy attack/hideout decide to move in to exterminate the 'enemies', triggering the orphan's robotic self-defense mechanism.
