To summarize, "Electra complex" is a girl's psychosexual competition with her mother for possession of her father. A boy's analogous experience is the famous "Oedipus complex."
The story will be about the Evans family. Scott Evans, a professor in the local High School and his wife, Louise, a nurse working in the only clinic in the town, 17 years ago Luise gave birth to their only child, Diana.
Diana's case of Electra complex could have been norml if Scott and Louise had established the Father-Daughter roles clearly when Diana was a child, however they did not, thus Diana grew up with a sexual attraction for her father, to the point of spying on him when he was in the shower or even when he was doing "adults things" with Louise. In a few days Diana will be 18, what will she do?
