It was a hot day. The sun shined brightly a crossed the nearly cloudless sky. The trees barely gave any shadows to hide under.
Even on such a hot day Astrid wore baggy cloths. They covered her thin, but curved figure well. The baggy shirt hid her rather large chest, and the long dark skirt hide her nice legs. As she walked home from school she could feel the sweat slide from her forehead. She wiped it off with her arm. Astrid was sort of a nerdy girl, although she didn't look it. Her hair was a natural platinum blond, which was messily pulled back into a ponytail, and her eyes, hidden behind glasses were an ocean blue. She didn't have many friends, espically since starting a new school. Being a Freshman in high school was hard enough already.
She let out a heavy sigh as she gazed towards her house. At least no one was home. Her parents had taken a week off from work, and went on vacation, 'accidentally' scheduling it the same week that Astrid had to start school so she had no choice but to miss out. She pulled out the house key. At least she knew she had one friend at home. Her dog she'd had since she was a little girl.
