Hey there Bluemoon peoples!
I apologise for the somewhat bare nature of this thread, I was partially writing it while at work and just wanted to get something out there. I also apologise for my absolutely terrible username. There was a split second where I thought it was somewhat witty and clicked register. Now I'm not so sure.
Anyway, I suppose you'd like to know a little bit about me. I'm in my twenties, live in the UK and am a male human. More importantly though I highly enjoy writing and have been doing so for years. I've also been roleplaying for years, both on here with accounts I no longer remember and on other sites. So I consider myself fairly competent, though there's always more to learn. With regards to the kind of things I'm looking for on here my tastes are pretty diverse. I'm open to most plots, settings, themes, pairings, kinks etc. For the most part though, I'm looking for something long term and really detailed, with a hint of passionate romance.
Now before we get onto the fun stuff, there are just a few rules to consider.
Posts - My posts tend to be about 3 paragraphs long but I can easily do more. I'd appreciate it if you could match mine.
Grammar - I make a few mistakes every now and then, but I'd really appreciate it if you could do your best to make everything grammatically correct and I'll do the same.
Schedule - My schedule tends to be very busy and varied. For the mosat part I try to reply as often as I can. A good week would be at least once a day. A bad week would be one reply a day, so don't worry if you don't hear from me, for a while. If I want to drop the rp then I'll just say so.
Medium - I only rp via threads. Sorry but I just find it so much easier to work with. I will only ever rp via PM if you come to me with a truly exceptional idea that I just have to be a part of.

Setting - Modern Day

Type - Slice of Life, potential for fantasy elements
My character is something of a vagabond, a lone wanderer. He left his home in the UK without so much as a look back, leaving behind everythiong and everyone he knew. Running from his home and his past, he travelled the world, seeing all that he could, never stopping in one place too long. That is, until he met your character. How they meet is up for negotiation. Perhaps YC works at MC's hotel, maybe it's a chance encounter at a coffee shop or a one nigh stand that soon becomes more, despite MC's best efforts to leave. But as our characters get to know each oter YC soon realises that MC has a darkness to him, a shadow following him that caused him to leave his home. Perhaps it's just the weight of his past, of a heartbreakign loss tha caused him to flee. On the other hand, maybe it's something supernatural that has made MC how he is, avoiding personal connections cause he is creature of the night feeding on blood, or maybe a werewolf howling at the moon, a danger to anyone who gets to close.
As for where our characters meet, I was thinking America, either small town or big city. However I'm open to other suggestions or other countries.

Our characters are siblings, brother and sister in their mid to late twenties. When they were close. Too close. For one reason or another they began to fool around and experiment together sexually. It went on for years until they finally managed to put an end to it. It's been hard work for them but they managed to push down their feelings and lustful thoughts for one another. As such they've drifted apart, not as close as they were. However when the see each other next they start to relapse. Maybe it's because of a chance encounter on a drunken night out, followed by waking up naked next to each other. Or maybe they are stuck together at a family gathering i.e wedding, funeral, holiday etc. Either way their feeling start to resurface and they struggle with the guilt of what they are doing and the longing for one another. Maybe they'll crash and burn together, maybe they'll gave the strength to stop, or perhaps they'll just run away and start a new life where no one knows they are brother and sister.

Setting - Modern day fantasy
Pairing - MortalxGod/Goddess, MortalxDemigod, DemigodxDemigod
Type - Fantasy actiony adventure
So I've just started watching the adaptation of American Gods and I love it and want to do something inspired by that, with a hint of the apocalypse. I'm thinking it's the start of the end of days as a war breaks out among the gods. Maybe it's old gods versus new gods, or maybe it's just the old gods fighting amonst themselves. Either way the world is ravaged and society is on the brink of collapse when our characters meet. What happens next is open to discussion. Maybe they embark on a quest to save the world, or perhaps it's simply a journey to find safe haven, to wait out the end of the world as the gods pick each other off. I'd love to play a mortal against a goddess/god or a demigod, but I'm open to other ideas.
