Sadie stared out the car window as the cab exited the freeway, taking in the scenery of her new home. It didn't take long from getting off of the freeway for the car to pass by the large university she would soon be attending, only to pull into a residential neighborhood across the street. Finally they came to a stop in front of a house that she would honestly call more of a mini-mansion, the Greek letters DPD hanging from the front balcony.
While the cab driver retrieved her two suitcases from the trunk Sadie climbed out of the back seat and stared in almost awe at where she would be living from now on. Compared to the tiny apartments she had lived in throughout the eighteen years of her life, it really did look more like a mansion than a house. She would have her own room, all of her expenses paid for including school fees, all just for cleaning up, cooking and generally taking care of the fraternity brothers. It seemed too good to be true.
"Here you are, Miss." The driver said, placing her bags on the sidewalk and Sadie turned to give him a smile as she handed over the fare.
"Thank you." Bags in hand, the freshman walked up the pathway to the frat house's door. She hesitated briefly once she was standing there, glancing down to make sure her sea green summer dress still looked nice before finally pressing the doorbell with a determined smile.
