I know not quite the way I should make a splash after being gone for a year. Sorry for such a mundane subject, but I am having a bit of an issue. Both in how I want to reveal this system and where I really want to go with it. The basic idea is that I want to create an "arena" of sorts with players battling other players. I can accomodate players with NPC battles as well. On to the "pitch" as it were.
Characters will be made using an adjusted tri-stat system. Male or Female characters can be created as players. Presently I cannot find a method by which a trans/futa character can fit within the system, so I will have to disallow them for the time being. I have not finished the first set of rules, so maybe I end up finding a way somehow later on. Things are still up in the air to be honest but I want to get the basic foundation done before I go into anything more complex.
Gameplay would be following a fairly simple format. Each player is given a hand of 5 cards which consist of strikes, grapples and submissions. I have left things to be as free form as the players would desire, so if they want to involve sexual themes then it is more than encouraged. Of course if you want a match to be more similar to the wrestling you see on TV, then that is fine too. I am providing the system and I would ask the players to provide the roleplay. Anyway, with the hand of 5 cards you may play up to two cards of the same type for any one given turn. Take note that under normal circumstances that you only draw 1 extra card per turn after the first so playing more than one card in a turn is a strategic choice.
As an example I have the following starting hand: Strike 4, Strike 2, Grapple 1, Submission 3, Grapple 5
With this hand I could play for a strike, and play both of my strike cards to have an attack value of 6 total. The opponent would play their cards and whoever had the higher value would win that particular attack turn. What happens should be within reason and there will be a statistical component. I really want to say that there is more to this right now, but I am almost just as much looking for ideas as I am anything right now and I would say that this system is probably roughly 30% complete right now.
What I am looking for is a few interested people to try to make a basic character and help me test things before I roll out a full rule set for the forums. As the game is not complete yet, I am quite open to suggestions afterall. Those who are interested should simply PM me. I will send a character creation link to those who wish to help me flesh this idea out and bring it here to blue moon roleplaying.
