Blinding sunlight shone over the courtyard, with vibrant lighting and positive energy. The day had been shaping up to be rather nice in terms of the weather, with the heat keeping at a low so that it felt nice and breezy, while the sunrays were enough to warm the flesh. Flowers of all variety blossomed around the area with life and beauty. Even little critters and bugs came out to explore the lively day and created this harmonious symphony.
However, in a certain princeâ??s mind, he almost wished that there were thick raindrops slamming into each flower face and forced them back into bud stages. The clouds were nowhere to be seen, when he thought that perhaps, it was a day for darkness and dreary. Sitting in a room just viewing the courtyard, Prince Ragnar of Kyliâ??Dian watched as the knights trained with much effort under the sun. Compared to the bulky knights, he wasnâ??t as masculine, but he wouldnâ??t say he was feminine either. The prince had vivid blonde hair, with sharp green eyes. His build was toned and had some muscles, but he wasnâ??t popping out his veins like some of the men he knew. A sword was easy to handle enough, but so was a bow and arrow; both of which he was able to use within a whim as his strength allowed such continual usage of muscles.
Dressed in white formalwear, the blonde waited for the arrival of his new servant. His father, the King, had recently told him that part of the peace treaty that was signed a few weeks ago with the neighboring kingdom, that place would send a servant for Ragnarâ??s use. How this was a good thing was beyond him, as he hated having people follow him around to wherever he went. The prince was used to traveling with a group of random people throughout his kingdom, as the knights were all assigned on different times to travel to different areas with him. Ragnar was â??homeâ?? in his kingdom for a few days in a month, before he was sent off to make some treaty or visit and check up on the kingdoms around them.
Having a personal servant meant that heâ??d have to stick with the same person with him for an undetermined amount of time. Gods, that sounds almost likeâ?¦torture or somethingâ?¦ he shook his head, trying to get it cleared. Sighing softly, he heard the door knock and stood to open it to find a messenger guard.
â??Sire, I am to inform you that your new servant from the neighboring kingdom has arrived. He is supposed to be waiting for you in the Grand Hall.â? the guard relayed his message and was quick to leave, as he had to inform the King as well; the only reason Ragnar had been informed first was because his room had been on the way.
â??Ughâ?¦alright, suck it upâ?¦â? he firmly told himself, before straightening his back and shoulders. Once prepared, he waltzed towards the Grand Hall to meet his new servant.
