I'm open to absolutely anything I didn't come up with, but here are a couple of my personal faves.
1) Guy is a small town mechanic, teen is running away from parents/home. Her car breaks down in his small town, and he cant fix it. He can, however, do his best to help her out in any way she sees fit. (Not smut based, but can involve if the story goes there.)
2) This idea is loosely interpreted from the Myth of Midas' golden touch. Girl is a successful, bright college girl who is living the struggle, but making it. She works a couple of jobs, one of which is rather risque. She upsets a client, who puts a curse/hex etc on her. Suddenly she finds herself having the worst luck ever. Nothing works right, and her world starts falling around her. Enter guy character who is immune to her woes, and might hold the key to breaking the curse.
3) This one revolves around characters who are scientists and are colonizing Mars. Our characters are friends and also engineers who are assigned to the shuttle. A mistake is made and catastrophic failure follows, and now the whole colony hates them. They have to find their place in the colony, forever stranded on Mars.
