The Institute - OOC/Planning

I'M CREATING A NEW THREAD HERE IN WHICH TO PLAN AND COORDINATE THE RP, AS WELL AS FOR GENERAL OOC CHATTER​

If anyone has any questions, suggestions, or simply wants to talk, then here is the place to do it. I have some things that we need to, as a group sort out, which I'll post here as the character profiles thread begins to fill up.

Okay, so we need to decide on the setting itself of the institute. What kind of building ot buildings would people prefer? I've spoken to a few people, including Machiavelli, who suggested these two images;

For a more modern setting, both could work. How do people feel about that? Does anyone have other suggestions, maybe a less modern style building? Old stately homes could work well.

Concerning locations for the Institute itself, I really enjoyed the concept of this one. It's more interesting scenery than the other suggestion, and it allows for interesting punishments. Say, hanging someone by their ankles off the edge. In addition, I visualize dark and evil chambers inside that underground complex... yummy!

I think I agree there, that if we do go for one of those two, the bleak backdrop, any mystery of the underground complex would definitely be fun to explore.
