Nothing could beat this high. Not that Tommy had tried drugs, but the adrenaline rush of power was too intoxicating for words. He held them at his mercy; made them beg while he denied them over and over. He tortured and maimed before giving the release of death to his victims, and he loved every moment of it. Who would have thought that a five foot six man with no build whatsoever in a pair of womens jeans could wield such power and hatred? They underestimated him, and that was always their ultimate undoing.
Smiling to himself, Tommy walked down the street calmly. He sometimes wished for the sounds of sirens and chaos behind him, but knew that those wouldn't come for hours yet. It was just as well-sirens while he was in the area were bad news, and he didn't need the extra exposure. He'd been caught before, and had sweet talked his way out of whatever jail time was coming at him. He'd lied, told the judge that he was reformed after three years in prison, batted his long, full eyelashes, and gave a little smile. Everyone bought into it, even his current beau...who happened to be the cop who had arrested him. It was an odd story to tell people when they asked how they met, but dating him simply gave him more credibility. If he hadn't really changed, then a cop wouldn't ever be dating him.
With a long breath of cool, night air drawn in, Tommy continued his way down the street, replaying the scenes from within the house with a sick little smile to his lips.
