Backstory: A small but significant number of lovely and talented young ladies have recently disappeared. Authorities aren't sure if they left of their own volition or if they were abducted, some even whisper of supernatural forces involved.
Several of the young ladies have been chess players, which has raised any number of crackpot theories, but no real clues.
It is whispered that some of the missing women have resurfaced, except they have been dramatically aged, by 70 years or more, but according to the conspiracy theories , DNA testing has proved their identities.
Your Character: a woman, preferably 25 or younger but definitely at least 18 years old, attractive, intelligent. (Prefer playing with actual physical females for this role)
Setup 1 : (aka Romance gone bad) YC and MC meet, MC is an older, handsome, wealthy investor looking to support your character's endeavors and romance, you are gradually drawn into his web until she is trapped and his infernal purposes are discovered
Setup 2: (aka Meddling investigator) YC is an investigator of some sort, - a cop, private eye, or journalist. MC is someone connected to several of the missing women, but not enough evidence for a warrant, due to MC political connections.
So you seek me out either with romantic overtures or seeking employment.
One possibility here is you are betrayed by someone who informs me who you are.
