The world of Talem over the decades has been filled with corruption in all forms, from physical and mental alterations, monsters and beasts, down to the primal of needs. The need to fuck, breed and dominate. Over the years many have undertaken the path to try and save what was left of innocence from the corrupt, the vile and more. Each one has failed, each to their own demise, be it death slavery or worse, proving one after another the task was no small matter, nor one to be taken lightly. And amidst the chaos, people still found a way to stave off the darkness, fighting it off, leaving a select few safe havens for people to live in peace.
That isn't to say outside the walls were safe, making any traveler wary and cautious to venture out, especially alone. And anyone brave enough to do so was hardly seen again, or to say the least, not returning the same way they had departed from the start. And so begins the journey of another adventurer, set out on a mission of her own, left to explore the dangers of Talem, a world overrun with danger, lust and corruption. And how will she fair compared to those who tried before her? One particular being watches her, sensing something within her, something many others have lacked. Determination.
As for our new adventurer, a foreigner to the land, the being who watched her took note of the small village she stopped in to rest at. The village was small, barely enough to really do anything other than act as a checkpoint for a safe place to sleep and catch a bite to eat. Very few people lived there, but could defend themselves enpough to keep the basic things like wolves, spiders and goblins away. Thankfully it was nowhere near beasts like druids, minotaurs and so on. But werewolves and other insects lurked just outside, keeping their distance, keeping to the prospect of leaving others alone if they are left in peace. And within the hour darkness struck the sky as the sun fell behind the mountains, leaving the girl to decide whether to sleep for the night or risk the walk through the night.
