Of Heroes and Villains
(Modern Superhero Setting)
-Lynn Lethal is known as the lunatic inventor of the Order, a band of the worst of the crime world. About a year ago the city was the epicenter of crime. It was to the point where local law was powerless to do anything. At the top had been the Order. Then all of a sudden a ragtag group of scientists found a way to make themselves genuine superheroes. Now the Order was back to hiding in the shadows while the 'League' are living the high life.
What no one in the Order or even many in the League know, is that Lynn has an extensive history with a member of the League. Back in high school, she had been as close as friends could get with male member of the League. However they never saw each other after her friends trip to an asylum for her mental issues. Funny enough, that was the birth of both of their careers. The abuse and near death sentence she was given gave birth to Lynn Lethal, while the inabilities to save his friend gave birth to the hero.
While she hated his very soul, Lynn isn't about to let the Order know that she has any connection to the League. In particular he had become very unpopular with them as he is very open in the new as taking in criminals and turning them straight. Unfortunately for Lynn, he has recently decided to try and make her his next 'project'.

-Koiri for the past year and a half has been living in a small coastal village. One stormy day she washed up on the shore and was taken in by the elderly couple who ran the clinic. She claims that she has no recollection of her previous life. If only they knew the truth.
She once lived a peaceful life in city with her love. They were very poor but content. However, after an incident where she had to whore herself in order to save him, she was swept into a life of pirates. She found herself the lover of a notorious pirate captain. He was well known to have many lovers, and would often share them with his crew. Yet there was only one that was off limits to everyone but himself, Koiri herself. In fact, he had bestowed her almost complete control, second only to himself. He mainly stayed on the Tortuga, a giant mechanized ship that was basically a floating city. His crimes and drug trade were spread through the world. It was not a life she liked. His special attention of Koiri had always made his other mistresses very jealous and angry with her. So one night when they had gotten him passed out from drinking, they threw her over board.
Koiri had thought when she woke up to this tiny village, that it was a chance to try and go back to the days where she was happy. That is until her lover appears to take her back.

-The Fae were a gentle people who lived and prospered in lush mystical forests. Lorell was the princess of a faction that resided and heavily interacted with the human city of Baccus. Their most enchanting feature were their wings which often reminded people of fairies.
However, her entire life came burning to the ground literally for one mistake. She had fallen in love with the king whose wife was a very jealous woman. In a rage when she discovered they were having an affair, she had the forest burned. When the king held court the next day, he learned of what the queen had ordered and that Lorell was reported as dead.
Imagine her lover's expression when he comes into his office to find his 'dead lover' waiting patiently for him in his office about two years later. She's not exactly the same innocent woman as she was either.
