Kai Stellos wasn't really what you'd call superstitous, but he was... cautious. He'd played DnD a little in college, so he knew plenty of legends, and he spooked a little easily. Still, he was the type who always followed his assignment, no matter what. Besides, a "Haunted House" could be fun to write an article about, better than more speculation on the economy anyway. Still, the place gave him the creeps, just from the pictures. One hour he decided, he'd spend one hour inside, than come out to write about it.
He was a magazine journalist, no real specialty, they gave him the stories every one else was too busy for, but it was a pretty good gig, considering how young he was. He was fairly well muscled, with brown hair and matching eyes, and just the slightest bit of a tan. He didn't bring anything with him, he wrote from memory, he'd always been like that, even in math class. You couldn't use notes on the test after all. He walked slowly up to the door, and slowly knocked. It was supposed to be abandoned, but he figured he'd double check. He waited nervously for a bit, than slowly opened the door, stepping inside. Maybe just 45 minutes inside.

De Rosa mansion, a mansion in the upper part of the city, mansion that hosted houndreds of dead souls inside. The mansion was a gateway, a gateway to hell and the mansion itself was a ghost. All living beings that entered the mansion were rumored to never leave, the latest victim a sixteen years old girl who wondered inside by accident when she ran away from her parents house, she was never seen again. From time to time people wondered inside, all of them dissapeared without a trace.

Maria saw a man enter the mansion, finally someone to keep her busy and someone that would be fun to play with. As soon as he entered the girl giggled and made all the doors of the mansion leading outside simply vanish. The windows were locked in a way that they could not be broken or opened, he would be trapped inside. Once the windows and doors were secured she laughed so the man would hear her, the only thing coming out of her mouth was the words “Pikabuu” and then the girl dissapeared into some other part of the mansion.

He looked around the entry hall. Dusty, just like on Scooby Doo, though he doubted he'd find anything as interesting as smugglers or even a petty crook. Probably just dust. He looked around, and than, felt something odd. He whirled around just in time to watch the door simply... disappear. "What the hell?" he asked, touching where the door once was, and running along the wall. There had been windows here, big ones, he was sure. What was going on.

A chill shot up his spine as he heard something. A soft laugh, a giggle, it would have been sexy under different circumstances. And than... did someone say Peekaboo? Some cruel trick. "Hello?" he called out. "What the hell is going on?" he said, seemingly to the house, but no one answered. It took him about five minutes to work up the nerve to go anywhere, but he had to find a way out, or failing that, if the legends were true, at least find out what was going on. He found a hallway, with a cliche, yet very creepy looking red carpet, and slowly started his way down the hallway.

Looking around Maria finally found the man walking around, she giggled again on purpose so he would notice the laugh. Smiling she looked at the boy, deciding to spook him up a little she decided to appear infront of him. How she would do that would be difficult, so many ways to do it and so much time to spook him out. She appeared in front of him and looked at the man, “Excuse me sir… I am lost can you help me?”. As she approached him her throat began to open up imitating a knife cut around her neck. She began to cry and become very nervous as she dissapeared from his sight.

Sam looked at the man that suddenly came into the mansion, another human and soon to be soul in the mansion. She sighed and looked at him from the other end of the hallway, visions of people dying on all rooms were made so he would freak out, one of them being shot, the other hanging himself, it was the same two images over and over again on all room of he hall. On the other end was two stairs, one going up and another one going down

He heard that giggle again, extremely creepy, seeming to come from all around him. It sent a shiver through him, one he couldn't control. He went forward slowly, very slowly through the hall. He was way more than nervous, and he nearly jumped when the girl appeared in front of him. She was cute, and a little bit younger than him... maybe 16. Judging by her voice, she might have been the one to giggle. "I... I don't know..." he started to say, but before he could ask her any thing, the horror began. Suddenly, she was gone, as though brutally murdered, and all he could see was a number of murders, more and more gruesome. Suddenly, he was running, as quickly as he could, to the end of the hall. When he got there, he headed up the stairs leading upward, there were windows there, and a balcony, there had to be a way out, there had to be. And it was better than the basement anyway.

Maria giggled and looked at him run, he was freaked out and with a good reason. She followed him, remaining invisible to all eyes. After he got to the second floor she giggled again, she was having so much fun with him she would never let him go. But with the new floor came worse stuff for him, she dissapeared not wanting to go up another floor, the real bad ghosts were in the upper levels.

Jacob looked at the new man that arrived at the second floor, someone was invading his floor and he won’t have it. He appeared behind the man and quickly scratched his back before dissapearing again. That would be a warning to him. Misha and Jacki, a pair of twins appeared in front of him, they began singing in front of him. As they finished they laughed and pointed at him, “those who enter, are condemed to hell, welcome home”. With that both of them appeared to be burning as they dissapeared.

He nearly jumped up the stairs, taking them as quickly as possible. He had to find a way out. He saw the twins, slowly burning before him, and he nearly tried to jump through the wall. There had to be a way out of here, this wasn't hell, he wasn't dead. He went for the closest wall, and slowly began walking against it, brushing it the entire way. He needed a window, he would jump out of it if he had to. They were up here, he'd seen them, in pictures, and from the outside, where the hell were they?
