The god of debauchery was never one to be trifled with, as he had roamed the lands long ago, bringing kingdoms down by their own lusts and desires, mixing humans with things that most people would never even want in their lives let alone between their legs or on top of them. But even gods were caught off guard, when three different kingdoms sent their greatest warriors to dispose of him once and for all. Garadeen had fought hard and powerful, sending many warriors off to their deaths either by his own actions, or by those terrible beasts that he had at his command.
Finally, after a week of prolonged fighting, it was one warrior that had managed to kill him above all others. A Woman. What her name was would be forever lost among time, for as he died, he took the knowledge of her with him. But in his death something happened that all of the kingdoms didn't expect. His body changed, transforming the land into a beautiful but deadly forest filled with monsters, and the actual site of his death becoming a castle in ruin. For they merely killed his physical form, the temple that contained his true might, and he knew that with his death he could continuing plaguing the land in a different way.
Every 100 years he would gather enough power that out of the three kingdoms, their princess would suddenly disappear, along with the knowledge that everyone knew that she was in that castle. Many a warrior would come to rescue their princesses, and many of them failed. And yet, there was always one that he entertained at testing, allowing a single woman into the depths of the castle, seeing if she had the strength to free their princess. Only a handful had ever succeeded.
But when Garadeen's castle claimed the last royal blood princess of one of the three kingdoms, then the largest bounty had ever been made, an entire war was declared to siege the castle and destroy the very foundations it was built on. Failure. That was 95 years ago, and it was known when Garadeen would claim another of royal birth, the last one would cease to exist. So it was that another group had found their way to the front gates of the castle, a group of the mightiest knights of the soon to be exist Kingdom of Eveline without it's royal heir.
Of course none of them would find their way in, with their mighty enchanted weapons, strengthened armor and even the three spell casters in their midst. But what enticed Garadeen was the younger female, the squire, another to test in his castle. Thus it was that on the night that they were about to give up, the group was attacked by many of the terrible beasts that lived in the village, and as the squire went to find a safe place, a passage would open allowing that one in.
