Hi blue moon! This is another exciting thread by your truly. This is going to be a mystery/thriller type roleplay which will be a decent mix of smut and story. I hope you enjoy the introduction.
Nialla was called a detective, a private eye, every name in the book. She would be hired on to solve a mystery and she would usually succeed. One day though, she got a strange call. It was an offer for a job, the caller left no name. Only asked that she go to a chataeu in the middle of upstate News York and find a special ruby, the caller claimed it had "sentimental value" and offered her one million dollars for it's retrieval.
Before Nialla had a chance to argue logistics or ask questions she was hung up upon. She took the case and got herself a ticket to an annual charity event held at the chataeu by it's shadowy host. The event itself was strange, guests were required to wear masks at all times and while there were plenty enjoying themselves the atmosphere of the house itself was tense. Soon as the dinner came to a close, there was a raffle of names, the winner was chosen to stay at the chataeu for a full week and not only receive pamperous treatment but also get a special reward and a meeting with the shadowy owner of the compound.
When Nialla's name was drawn she was flabbergasted, she hadn't even entered. How had she won? She chose to stay the week and take the time to plan her theft of the ruby. She's introduced to the housekeeper who assures her she will enjoy her stay, but something seems off about them.
As her week begins she notices odd things about the house. Strange hidden doors leading to locked rooms with odd noises coming from the other side. The housekeeper becoming a bit too interested in her. Feelings of being watched and even of being touched at night. Her clothes and belongings slowly dissapearing. The door to her room being locked every night. The staff acting oddly snd even freezing on the spot whenever she asks them about their jobs. Strange sounds like a train or large machinery from below the first floor. Shapes and apparitions moving around at night outside the bedroom.
As the week draws closer to a close and she draws closer to the hidden secrets of the manor, her stay becomes more and more dangerous as the motives of the shadowy owner and the competition she never entered become more and more sinister, will Nialla be able to escape the Mystery Manor?
