  • MANY things have changed since the first Alice arrived and turned the world of Wonderland upside down. The dreaded Red Queen was exiled by the White Queen, her very own sister. The Mad Hatter gained notoriety outside of being some madness driven tea drinker. And the world grew... for a time. Populations multiplied once the reign of the Red Queen had been terminated, turning her into merely a bedtime story to scare children now. Prosperity returned; people danced and frolicked; and peace had finally been established in Wonderland.

Something grew amiss after a very short decade. The land outside of the kingdoms grew more dangerous by the day. Some merchants and travelers were either found dead or sexually assaulted by the various creatures found outside, some of which no one had ever seen before. Soldiers were commanded to scout the borders of their kingdoms, only to return with fewer numbers and rumors of monsters kidnapping women to become brood mothers and men to produce fertilization.

A panic erupted in Wonderland, making the rulers come together to try and find a stop to this. The Summit of the Four lasted for a week, while the kingdoms stood on edge for what could be coming their way. For it was plain to see in those days that the hours of the day were growing shorter and night lasted much longer.

The White Queen proposed allying together to fight back and finding the source of this new darkness. The Golden Queen believed this to be nothing but temporary and wanted to go home and defend her borders like they had been. The Black Queen wanted to lead the troops that they had into battle and annihilate anyone that got in their way. And the Red Queen... she merely laughed at this new predicament because for some odd reason, her kingdom was barely effected. Perhaps it was due to her being isolated along with some other exiled criminals, but they didn't seem to be hurting like the rest.

Bickering ensued, making them lay their guards down just long enough for the Black Queen to be kidnapped from the Summit. The other three rulers fled back to the safety of their crown cities, ready to gather what power they could in order to rescue the missing monarch. The Black King left with a group of soldiers himself to find his wife, leaving his eldest child in charge of the kingdom until their return.

It is at this hectic time that rumors of "strangely dressed" people running around the crown cities and they call themselves "Alice." And it is now, the people turn to these strange foreigners in hope that they will help save them from the growing darkness.

THE LAND OF DIAMOND

TheLandofDiamond_zpsyp5ifayd.png

    • The White Citadel is the place home to her majesty, the White Queen, and the many civilians that were born in the Land of Diamond. It is here that most peace talks, country wide celebrations,
and intellectual endeavors take place. Seeing as the Citadel is home to the largest college in Wonderland, the Diamonds are considered the intellectual kingdom. Because of that, anything
dealing with development of new technology, including tinkering guilds, are located within its walls.

Mirana is the just, considerate queen over the Land of Diamond. She is unlike the other rulers since she has elevated a select few to be her council
and advisers, to make sure that her choices are in the people's best interest. She also walks among the kingdom and socializes with her citizens,
rather than sit on her cold throne and ruling by a pen. Many of the people saw this change once her husband, King Endril, died from illness and
believe that she merely avoids sitting next to his empty throne, even though she rarely has time to visit his memorial in the city gardens.
Even when one asks the other rulers, they describe her as the perfect diplomat. She can compromise and bargain for pretty much anything, even at
        her own expense.
      • T H E . W H I T E . C O U N C I L
These are the select few that Mirana believes will help her rule over her kingdom in the best way possible. They are the most informed and most
considerate people of the Crown City, which helps them inform their Queen of everything that requires attention. They are seen as noble peace
keepers in the White Citadel and are rarely seen negatively, unless by the suffering ex-Hearts.

      cooltext227651460528096_zpscvmlrspq.png

      • The Citadel has a moderate sized army that are mixed with beasts, automatons, and humanoids of all kind. They are mainly foot soldiers that
specialize in melee damage. They are mostly used to protect the people now, but were once planned and at the ready for the war against the Red
Queen. Many still harbor their hate for the Land of Heart.
As for the walls and security of the citadel, the walls surrounding them have been fortification enough to keep most damage out. But the main line
of defense is the magical wall that encompasses the city. Magic users come to study at the college located in the White Citadel and many stay to
help fuel this protection, doing so in shifts so that no one person has a larger burden than another. The Queen insists that these Magickers are
considered heroes among the people, even if they do not see their efforts in times of peace.

      cooltext227651431694216_zpsla6ae39f.png

      • The White Citadel is considered a little higher than average in wealth. Rather than have class division, the people are focused more on keeping the
city and their neighbors healthy and happy. The money that the college, tinkering guilds, and the Citadel's growing fashion industry bring into the
city has definitely improved the state of living. Many people are able to live with very little taxation and worry more on survival means, such as
        food, housing, etc.
Seeing as the Wall's Magickers and the military force are covered by governmental funding, the need for work from other civilians is high and the
unemployment rate is at an almost impossibly low rate.
Obviously, there are rare cases, but they are usually dealt with in a timely manner.
Unless they were originally from the Land of Heart. Discrimination and fear are still rampant in Wonderland, especially in these times. So these poor
people tend to suffer at the hands of the Diamonds. It is only when the government finds out about these injustices are they rectified.

THE LAND OF HEART

TheLandofHeart_zpswbke0yzu.png

    • The original Land of Heart was destroyed in the war between the White Queen and Red Queen. If one were to find where the Red Castle once stood, all they would find is a crumbled ruin
with various head still afloat in its moat. However, if one wanted to find the new abode for the exiled Red Queen, one would merely look in the Ruby Desert, named for its red sand. There,
the Red Queen and various criminals have been banished to live in Wonderland's harshest environments with supplies being provided every so now and then by the various kingdoms.
After many years, the Red Queen rallied these criminals in her name and they soon began to build a home in one of the oldest structures in Wonderland, a castle made out of red clay.
Many spoke of it as if it were a mirage, but it still stood after centuries of time blew past it. Wanting a place to call home, the criminals followed the controlling woman and continued to
use her title out of respect... and fear. Though the families of criminals were welcome to return to the other side of Wonderland and live in better conditions, many refused to leave their
families. And so, a new kingdom was born. Though the other kingdoms refuse the now dubbed Red Keep to keep an army, they do agree that the Red Queen was allowed to have a group
of fighters to protect her, now that she was surrounded by more danger.
Unfortunately for them, they do not realize that she is breeding a spy network in secret.

The White Queen's younger sister, Iracebeth, is the feared Red Queen that is so enamored with decapitation, she has earned the image of a monster
to many Wonderland civilians. She is a very severe woman who only agrees to things on her terms, or unless she believes something better will come
out of it. Many still wonder how she was able to convince so many people to follow her back in the day and even now, but it is merely because they
do not see her as her people do.
Yes, she is cutthroat and direct. She is not seen as a diplomat, but more as a dictator. However, she gives her people equal chance to impress her, and
in turn, rise in rank. She may speak roughly to them, but her beauty has bewitched many to blindly follow regardless. For if you earn the favor of the
Red Queen, you are near invincible to other threats.
She is mostly seen wandering her "garden" of decapitated heads behind the Red Keep or sitting on her throne, doting on her new favorite. They don't
        typically last long.

      cooltext227651460528096_zpscvmlrspq.png

      • Many people believe that the Red Keep has no defenses, outside of the people's knowledge of murdering civilians. However, many forget that
soldiers have been exiled from the other kingdoms. Magickers have also been condemned to such a life. So plenty of the people have been
trained to fight in order to protect their homes, their families, and their Queen.
The Red Queen also hosts a tournament seasonally to determine who are the best fighters in the kingdom, so that she may handpick them for a
certain taskforce that she is developing.
The Heart Network is a network of spies that the Red Queen is creating and training in order to gather intel on the other kingdoms. She is glad to be
in charge of people again, and even allowed to deliver punishments once again (seeing as criminals are usually not seen as people in the other
kingdoms), but she hates how she must struggle with her people... Unlike the other kingdoms. She still wants her revenge and will stop at nothing to
gain it. Even if that means playing nice and helping them with this strange Underland infection.

      cooltext227651431694216_zpsla6ae39f.png

      • People live on what they can here. The desert isn't known to be full of luxuries. The people of Red Keep had to learn how to harvest water out of
plants, find caverns for other resources, and hunt the beasts of the desert for food. Since they lacked most necessary materials, they learned to use all
parts of an animal in order to make clothing, jewelry, currency, living amenities, etc. Mined ores and metals from caverns and caves were an
invaluable asset as well, so many of the criminals turned to mining for these materials to bring in enough bone for the family.
Oh, that's right. Since the typical currency was denied to these people, they found a new way to pay for things: bones. They manipulated bone into
coin like shapes, which allowed the queen to have yet another way to control the people beneath her. Hunters tend to pocket extra bones and learn
how to shape them, but if one is caught doing so... the sentence is decapitation.

THE LAND OF CLUB

TheLandofClub_zpscxj6gt97.png

    • The Floating City, home to the Golden Court, and the home of trade in Wonderland. The Land of Club is known for being a place of commerce and currency, seeing as the first bank of
Wonderland was established here. It was here that it became official that Wonderland would trade in platinum, gold, silver, and copper pieces. Many merchants get most of their
supplies from this kingdom before moving on.
Outside of regular business, this kingdom is the leading one over marine based products, such as fish, boats, etc. That's because the city is scattered around islands with various sectors
over different types of trade, with each island only accessible by boat. The Land of Club is also the most densely populated kingdom.

Ravenna is more of a Director rather than a Queen. She runs her city like a business in order to maintain boundaries for equality and
earnings. She doesn't dip her hand in the pot of business, unless to regulate illegal trade, which happens more than many would like to
admit. She mainly holds meetings with each sector's mayors to help create, organize, and null laws and practices that may hurt the city's
wealth and/or the people's state of living. Though she may not be seen as the most sociable or friendly ruler, she is agreed to be a good
ruler. She puts her home first and does what she think is feasibly just for it.
      • T H E . G O L D E N . C O U R T
These are the ten mayors over the different sectors of the Floating City, each with an expertise over a type of business. These cover
vegetation and meat production, alcoholic and non alcoholic drink production, realty, fashion, living amenities and luxuries,
technology (steam era), carpentry and masonry, medicinal herbs and poultices, weaponry and armor, and fishing.
They help Ravenna maintain the Land of Club in hopes of being fair to everyone, merchant and consumer alike.
Unfortunately, a few are corrupt and can be bought easily with things and people they desire, but that is why Ravenna only hears
        their words as mere suggestions.

      cooltext227651460528096_zpscvmlrspq.png

      • Needless to say, the defense for the Land of Club is heavily based on marine warfare. The water that snakes around the islands keeps it
difficult for foot soldiers to make their way undetected by all of the islands, while giving the Floating City's soldiers an advantage.
However, the military also possesses foot soldiers for whenever they are forced to fight within their own walls. However, these units are
rarely used since no one has made it past the Clubs' naval defense.
Queen Ravenna also has her own, small spy network that she uses to help gather intel on future marketing endeavors, news concerning
her allied kingdoms, and whether or not Iracebeth is acting up or not. She doesn't approve of how the Red Queen remains alive and can still
behead people, but she doesn't dare disagree with the Black and White Queens. She isn't stupid.

      cooltext227651431694216_zpsla6ae39f.png

      • Needless to say, the economy is booming in the Floating City. Some parts more than others, of course, seeing many sectors depend on the
money brought in by sales and taxes. Poverty isn't a large problem but every now and again, you will see some poor soul who isn't doing
as well as other people. This is allowed mainly because there is a clear class system in the Land of Club which equates to how much wealth
you have. It sadly encourages some people to spend more money than they have and there is no recovery system for them because the
Queen doesn't want to encourage bad spending in her kingdom.
So where do you go from there? To illegal trade, of course!
Though it isn't public knowledge, or governmental knowledge, there are illegally obtained and sold things in the Land of Club. This can
include slave trade, sex market, humanoid anatomical sales, grave digging, and other shady services. Ravenna is aware of these businesses
existing in her city, but she usually is unable to catch every offender. Unfortunately, having the largest populated kingdom leaves her more
blind to dark corners in the city. And if her court is corrupt, there may be no hope in foiling every unit of these illegal practices.

THE LAND OF SPADE

TheLandofSpade_zpsknw4zims.png

    • The Castle in the Sky is one of the most fortified kingdoms in Wonderland, seeing as it has the largest military in the world. The community is raised on fighting, strategy, and
discipline. It consists of both foot soldiers, archers, and aerial fighters. Though many would naturally fear this amount of power, people don't. The rulers of the Land of Spade
aren't power hungry nor wish to harm anyone unless provoked. Instead, they wish to keep their people safe.
This kingdom is also the leading one over metalwork, masonry, and mechanical research. Obviously this being so due to the materials surrounding them in said mountains.

        (missing in action)
The Black Queen, Freya, was recently crowned after marrying King Matthias. Their marriage was a bit of a celebrated scandal because
she was his bodyguard while growing up. Many thought her indifferent to him and her homeland, but it turned out that she didn't want
to overstep her boundaries. That is until Matthias broke them for her. Many young girls fantasize about the romance between these two
and tend to forget about her majesty's fighting ability.
She was a fighter first and foremost. She believed in military power, offense being the best defense, and doing anything she could do to
keep her home safe. So she helped build the Spades' military and even trained some of them herself. The people in the palace have
affectionately dubbed her their Warrior Princess.
The reason that she was sent to the Summit instead of her husband was because of the fact they were confident that she could watch
herself better than he could. Unfortunately, she was the one snatched and taken deeper into Underland.

The ruling king of the Land of Spades was born and bred to rule his promised kingdom in the mountains. Being a heavily militaristic
kingdom, the king was taught the ways of strategy and fighting. However, he wasn't able to surpass his class mate and soon to be
protector, Freya. She always beat him, but that was what was expected of her since she was being bred to be his bodyguard.
Years passed and so did his parents, leaving the young king to fill in the royal throne much sooner than he was ready for. Freya, his
now good friend, was by his side and she made sure to help him along the way.
It didn't take long for the two friends to start showing signs of romantic interest, and would give into their desires in secret. Freya was
ashamed of breaking her oath and would punish herself with rigorous training... until Matthias proposed to her. The people celebrated,
which made the King even happier about his choice. The two started planning the future of the kingdom after their wedding, and came
up with their new aviary units.
Now that the Queen has been taken, Matthias couldn't stand by. He left immediately for where she was last seen, leaving their eldest
child in charge of the city until one or both of them return.

The heir to the Spades' throne is a mystery to most of the Castle in the Sky. They have been hidden within the palace's walls while
either training to be a great warrior or to be a strategical genius. Or perhaps the two rulers were ashamed of their child. Regardless, the
people are worried about who's orders they are under now... which isn't doing much to negate the fear of the Underland.

      cooltext227651460528096_zpscvmlrspq.png

      • Offense is the best defense in the Land of Spade. Their military is filled with different type of soldiers such as footmen, archers,
flintlock operators, and aerial attackers. The kingdom is guarded from the ground, the walls, in their own streets, and even from the air
now. They're also located in the mountains. If anyone wanted to infiltrate this kingdom, they'd have to do so by working from the
inside first. If even that were possible.

      cooltext227651431694216_zpsla6ae39f.png

      • Since the citizens are treated equally and have jobs of equal importance, economy is steady and practically equal for all. No one is
poor while no one is rich. Everyone is stuck in the same class state, which helps divert the attention from such trivial argument to more
important things. Taking care of each other.
This kingdom is the smallest out of the three, seeing as few wish to raise a family in such an environment. Many new recruits into the
Land of Spade are people who have journeyed from other kingdoms and hope to put their lives to more use than what they once were.
However, the kingdom continues to bring in money from exporting their metalwork to other kingdoms for a decent price. After all, an
        army can't fund itself.

UNDERTALE // CLIMATE AND TIME

UnderlandCT_zpslpo4xopy.png

    • Undertale was once a beautiful scenic route between the kingdoms, with each and every corner able to be explored and used to Wonderland's best ability. It held almost
every climate and type of region one could imagine. However, things have changed since the Darkness took these lands from the people of Wonderland. Their world has
grown dark and sinister, and not just by how it's touched the land.

The Forests of Fealty are a massive network of forestry and wildlife that surround most of the Land of Diamond. There's also a large system
of pathways that lead to either kingdoms' direction. It was once a peaceful place for travelers to explore through, seeing as it has an
abundance of ponds, unique flora, and kind animals found within its depths.
However, once the Darkness came, the animals started to show signs of either fear or animosity towards travelers. The flora seemed to grow
sentient and attack those that found themselves too close. What's more intimidating about these woods is that the paths seem to have been
manipulated. They twist and turn and change almost immediately if one doesn't watch them carefully, almost as if luring people farther into
        its depths.
As for the state of which time seems to progress, many cannot tell unless they look over the tops of the trees. It feels like it is always right
before the sun sets, or rises, whenever the sun is above their head. And sadly, the sun isn't there for long. Night seems to be the most
        prevalent time anymore.
The weather changes from rainfall, sunny, overcast, storming, and even snowing sporadically throughout the week. No one can explain why.

These were the plains that many soldiers camped out on the night before the attack on the Red Queen. They were able to marvel at the stars
and the two moons that hovered over their kingdom that night.
But much like the Forests of Fealty, the peace there was destroyed. From the walls of the White Citadel, soldiers have reported random fires
breaking out and those that went to investigate would come back with reports of a stolen caravan or person being used as bait for them.
These plains still go through the same day and night cycle as the Crown City, but the weather is unpredictable. In one week alone, soldiers
have reported every type of weather and temperature. Crops have failed under these conditions and it is only by the miracle of the Wall that
the city still has its resources.

The Desert has always been considered rough terrain in Wonderland. The Desert encompasses one third of the discovered land in this world,
yet it is too difficult to survive in compared to the other two thirds. Regardless of that, the kingdoms agreed for it to be the land for the
exiled as long as they provided necessary things to survive.
The climate is universally seen as dry and hot, except for when night falls. Then the hot turns to cold. Since the Darkness has only changed
how short the day is and how long the night is, it merely has turned the desert into a cold, sandy wasteland.

various ores nestled within the walls, ceiling, and ground of the place. It is mostly rich in crystals and basic metals. Regardless of how dark
and hot -or cold- it is outside, there is a low light always inside. The crystals that grow within seem to glow with a strange magic. Only

In the beginning of Wonderland's time, rich materials could be found in the rivers of the Land of Club. These include gold, silver, glass, and
even crystals. Because of this, the place was named the Rivers of Riches, the very place where many rushed to get to before all of the riches
were taken. Battles were fought over these things so much, the spilling of blood seemed to seep into the soil and have an odd effect to it. The
soil close to the water is now very soft and some Magickers are unable to physically touch it or the souls of the dead may plague them.
Other than that, the climate is that of what you would expect of wetlands. Rain. Lots of rain and thunderstorms. But ever since the Darkness
came, snow and hail have mixed into this equation. The people weren't prepared, at first, to deal with these adverse effects, but it didn't take
long for the merchants of the North to help teach them of their lives. The crown city of the Clubs is now used to these weather effects.
Perhaps they are the most adapted to the darkness than the rest of Wonderland.

The hills that surround the Land of Club are riddled with small waterways, streams, and creeks that lead to the Rivers of Riches. Because of
this, the area turns from wetlands to swamps when traveling from the crown city. They once were hills full of nothing but greenery. However,
it's been shown that the land is slowly sinking downward, which is why the water had arisen and traveled inward.
Rain and storms are common here, but every now and again due to the Darkness, it can get so dry and hot that fires can start. They don't
travel far, but they have been known to harm some of the natural resources in the area.

The mountains circle the land and are almost a wall between the other kingdoms and the cold, harsh North where it is a constant tundra.
That said, the mountains have different types of climates that fit the progression of the "wall" of rock. When you travel closer to the north,
snow and blizzards are common to encounter. Obviously the farther you get from it, the warmer the weather gets. But since the Darkness
has fallen on Wonderland, the mountains are growing slowly colder as time progresses.
The mountains are also home to the Caves of Creation, which are littered with metallic ores. It is there that most metals for the armory and
inventions come from. One must get past the thick ice and the earth beneath to get them, but the reward is worth it.

    • The Darkness has tainted more than the people with fear and animosity. It has also claimed the creatures of Underland. The plants and animals that once were peaceful creatures
of Wonderland turned into monstrosities that now attack any person of the world to either use for their own dark purposes or to kill and consume. Perhaps both. There have been
many travelers reported as missing and no one seems to know where they are going. Unless... the rumors of brood mothers and fertilizers are true.
Still heavily under construction and will continue to be added to as the roleplay commences.

These seven feet tall creatures are the most deadly in the forest, due to their projected pheromones being able to seduce any gender it pleases. It requires both fertilizers and brood mothers, so many travelers are at risk of being added to the missing board. If one were to be caught off guard and in its grasp, a toxin will be inserted into the person orally (by tongue at first, but by tentacle if the target seems more hostile). Once that is concluded, the nymph will mate with the creature to see if their body is effective for what they need. If not, they will kill them and leave them to their dryads to feast upon. If they are, the nymph will carry them back to their home where they will be used for breeding purposes until they perish.
          • d r y a d s
These small, plant monsters follow their mothers, the nymphs, everywhere as to obtain sustenance from their kills. They feast upon the dead that their mother leaves for them until they grow into more nymphs. The process usually takes from a week to a year, depending on how many kills they are able to eat. If one of their sisters were to die, though, they will also consider that a kill and feast upon them so that they may grow powerful. Same goes for if a nymph were to perish.

Spider like women who rest in the back of dark pathways, awaiting silly prey who may find their way stuck in their webs. If the target is female, she merely uses it for food for either herself or her children. But if the target is male, she injects a poison that leaves him completely helpless to her. When she is satisfied that he can move no more, she will use some of her venom to properly prepare him for mating by applying it as lubrication with her hands. The venom is said to have a tingling sensation and begins to burn if it is not used for mating within the next hour. Once prepared, the spider will perform oral on the male until he finishes in her mouth, where she will will be fertilized and impregnated. It takes a day or two for the arachna to realize if she is pregnant. If she is, she will kill and eat the male for sustenance. If she is not, she will repeat until she is.
          • d r a g o n f l i e s
A fearsome, no-faced monster that flies about the forest in at least groups of three. They are usually no shorter than 5' but also no taller than 6' in height. They are lithe and quick, making them formidable foes to deal with but can be easily overpowered. Especially with magic, for they are weak to it. They feast upon fruits and sap of trees, so they do not kill humans normally. They do, however, target female travelers for mating and to create brood mothers. Rather than do things out in the open, they kidnap a woman and take her to their hive where she will be used repeatedly by the dragonflies that reside there until they all have had a chance to impregnate her. Once she is pregnant, she will be kept prisoner in the hive until she gives birth to many, many of their kind. Thankfully, they are born in the form of eggs first and hatch later on, one they've outgrown the egg. Most women die from their first birthing or during pregnancy. But there are always a few rare ones that do not. If she still lives, the dragonflies will judge her for copulation again. If she seems fit to go again, they will keep her and redo the process. If she is not, they will abandon her in the forest somewhere.

UNDERLAND // THE OUTPOSTS

UnderlandO_zpsbtdynsvq.png

    • Ever since the Red Queen was exiled, the Mad Hatter began to question leaving her alone was a good idea. So he asked the White Queen's permission to keep watch over the decapitator.
Unable to persuade him otherwise, Mirana agreed and allowed him a small party and supplies to stake out the place until he was satisfied. At first, he found her frustration hilariously
ironic, but soon saw something sinister working beneath her composure. He witnessed her first beheading as the criminals' leader. Instead of leaving it alone, the Hatter began to gather
his friends and fellow fighters from the war. When they observed the Red Queen, they agreed that she would easily gain power again if not checked. So they created a small, independent
group called "the Hatters," a name that the Mad Hatter didn't personally enjoy, but his friends insisted. But as payback, he named his ranks after them. "Dormouse" was the title of new
recruits, "Rabbit" was a rank higher, "Hare" was next, and "Cheshire" was the highest honor. The importance of rank was decided by who won a game of rock-paper-scissors, and the
      Cheshire Cat won... naturally.
The Hatters grew over the years, recruiting those who believed in their cause. But ever since the Darkness fell, the Hatters decided to be a beacon of hope to those who needed it. They
now have outposts around Wonderland that hold a decent number of Hatters, ready to protect travelers from the dangers of their designated areas while the original Hatter continues to
      watch the Red Queen.

The Hatters decided to stay in the Mad Hatter's old house. In the backyard, one can still see the tea table that he, the March Hare, and the
Dormouse used to drink at. The table has not been clean as a tribute to their original because there was always time for tea.
Other than for sentimental value, the house is made out of stone and has underground floors that prevent other creatures from catching them
off guard. They expanded downwards to fit a small armory, a larger kitchen, and barracks so that any travelers were able to arm themselves
and rest until they were ready to leave.

The Hatters have a safe place within the walls of the White Citadel. It was built to mirror the castle entrance, as to show that they both had
an eye on each other. Regardless of how some people may perceive that, the safe house has a secret pathway to the throne room. It was built
by the Mad Hatter, just in case the Queen needed to run for whatever reason.
It is there that they are able to ship out supplies to their other outposts, while also being able to lend a hand to their fellow civilians... with
the proper permits and licenses, of course. Just look for the white house with the strange, purple hat for a roof.

This is the headquarters of the Hatters. Since it's also where the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the Dormouse are constantly stationed, it is
moved around the desert a lot. Mainly to avoid detection by the Red Queen. It is here that most of the intel gathered on the Red Queen's
strange behavior is kept. The Mad Hatter is suspecting that she is building an army in secret, but has no proof and is looking for some way
to get it. He's slowly going more insane the longer he stays in the desert. But he's too stubborn to leave.
Only people with "Hare" rank or higher can know the location of this base.

Swamps were the best place for these outposts. The monsters were thicker there and it was also easier to leave a path for travelers to follow
if they needed help. Only a few people agreed to this spot, though, so it's the smallest outpost in Wonderland. But these fighters are seasoned
veterans and are no stranger to killing monsters. If a traveler wishes help from them, all they need to do is follow the lanterns with the hat
symbols to the cabin in the swamp. There, beds and food will await them.

With permission from the Black King himself, the Hatters took up residence in an old outpost for Spade soldiers. It's the roomiest, most
opulent outpost. It is hidden in a ravine near a waterfall, with a hidden passage through the waterfall to higher ground. With the ability to
hunt, fish, purify water, and trade with the Spades for other things, it does very well for itself. The Hatters there are spoiled, though, and
tend to believe that they are better than the others. They're the butt end of a lot of Hatter jokes.

THE MYTH OF ALICE

          cooltext228049646840846_zpspykje45k.png

. . . . . . . . . a strange girl walked through a mirror and into the world of Wonderland. She was a peculiar, curious little thing who seemed to genuinely
like the world. She met many characters in her travels here, including the Mad Hatter and his tea companions, the Cheshire Cat, the White Queen,
and the Red Queen. She approached each person with wonder and excitement, whether she was made large with a cookie or small with a drink. She
befriended the flowers, the wise caterpillar, and two odd twins. Though she may consider "befriend" to be strong word.

. . . . . . . . . Alice soon found herself in a strange predicament with the Red Queen. She was the strange woman's new play thing. The decapitator
made her paint the roses red, deny that she ever did, and made her play little games for her amusement. Alice grew increasingly frustrated with the
woman and told her that she wasn't a nice queen. Upset by being told off by a little girl in front of her friends, the Red Queen ordered for Alice to
be beheaded. Unable to deny the order of the fearsome tyrant, the people of the Land of Heart did as they were told. And unlike the story that was
published in our world, the girl didn't make it home.

. . . . . . . . . Funnily enough, another Alice arrived in Wonderland. Many assumed that she was the Alice from before, just grown up and without
memory of the land... seeing as they had no memory of how she used to look either. Confused and a little unsettled by this, this Alice tried to make
her way home as fast as she could. But like the Alice before, she came in contact with the Red Queen. Knowing a tyrant when she saw one, this
Alice quickly outwitted the woman before being welcomed into the Red court. Unfortunately for Alice, the man who held Iracebeth's attraction felt
more attraction towards Alice. While she stayed in the castle, he attempted to win the new girl's affection. But the girl refused him every time.

. . . . . . . . . While Alice was in those halls, she found a Mad Hatter who was forced to make hats for the Red court. He was now being forced to do the
same for her, but he was so stuck in his madness that it was difficult to communicate to him. It was only when she told him her name that he snapped
out of it. "Alice? My Alice?" He looked into her face, as if searching for a hint of it. Not wanting to derail the man, Alice nodded and smiled. "The
only one." And it was then that the Mad Hatter snapped out of his crazy mind and told her of what happened since she "left."

. . . . . . . . . Unable to watch the Hatter continue to suffer, she freed him. But after he escaped the Land of Heart, Alice was met by the Knave of Hearts,
the Red Queen's love. The man knew what she had done, but promised not to tell anyone if she met him in his bedroom that night. Without a second
thought, Alice denied him one last time. At the same time Iracebeth rounded the corner and saw them in a damning position. Angry and hurt, the
Red Queen asked her Knave what was happening. To keep his head, he made it seem that Alice came onto him, making her majesty order the
capture of Alice so that there would be a public beheading.

. . . . . . . . . Alice ran as fast as she could, but was cornered by the Knave. He apologized smugly as he held his sword to her throat, letting her know
that she would die the next morning for denying him. When the right moment came, Alice took his sword and plunged it into his eye. The man
screamed in pain, making the girl flinch and yank the sword back out. She ran with the sword in hand, not knowing that this sword was the Vorpal
Blade of the Land of Diamonds.

. . . . . . . . . Trudging through the moat filled with heads scarred the poor girl for life, but she made it past that and into safer lands. It is there that the
Hatter found her with his comrades: the March Hare, the Dormouse, and the White Rabbit. They led Alice to the one woman who knew how to help
her return home, but not without making a deal first.

. . . . . . . . . The White Queen begged with Alice to help them fight off the Red Queen, her sister, and the Land of Heart's army. Alice didn't
understand why she was being asked to do such a thing when she was new to Wonderland. She merely wanted to save that strange Hatter from
himself and here she was, being asked to fight a war. Upset, she runs out of the castle and to the gardens... where she meets Absalom, the wise
          caterpillar.

. . . . . . . . . Absalom isn't fooled the second he sees Alice. "You're not her." He chuckles at her in a mocking tone. "You aren't nearly as brave enough.
And you don't care about these people." Those words stoke Alice's anger and pride. She argues with the caterpillar until she comes to an epiphany.
She would prove to these people that she wasn't the same Alice. By being better.

. . . . . . . . . The battle between the Heart and Diamond sisters began shortly after preparations were made. It was bloody and nothing like the Alice
expected from a world she barely believed in. But here she was, depending and fighting alongside these strange characters. And she had come to
care for them all along. She just hadn't acknowledged it earlier. So she fought with the Vorpal Blade, the weapon of the Diamond champion, and
killed the Heart champion, Iracebeth's jabberwocky. It was a fearsome creature that had killed hundreds of people, but with her wits and the help
of her comrades, Alice overcame it.

. . . . . . . . . The war settled after a long battle and Mirana sentenced her older sister to exile. The other three kingdoms agreed with the decision
and helped honor this Alice by claiming her to be the champion of Wonderland. They vowed to help her return home, even though they had no
idea how she could have "fallen" to their world through a rabbit hole.

. . . . . . . . . But Alice was able to make it home in time to take her life into her own hands. She succeeded until she was lost at sea, grasping the copy
of "Alice in Wonderland" that she had written by some author so that others could experience the amazing world that she had.

. . . . . . . . . Now, there are four Alices appearing all over Wonderland during their time of need. The people think this is their prayers being answered,
and each kingdom refuses to believe that their Alice isn't the one from the battle between Iracebeth and Mirana. So they aim to make their Alice
their land's champion before someone else can, so that they may claim victory over conquering the Darkness. Problem is... only one Alice will be
able to claim the title of the "real" Alice. Who will that be?

KNOWN RACES AND MAGIC

WKRAM_zps5q5gckoo.png

    • Wonderland is known for being home to many impossible things, including creatures of all kinds. These races of humanoid creatures are scattered around the country and are exposed to different types of treatment.
Speaking of types of treatment, magic is also a common thing in this world. Though many can't seem to understand where it came from, how the ability to possess it is determined, or what sort of education one must receive when coming into it, it's still seen as a marvel to some. Of course, there are some that fear what they do not understand. Regardless, the rate of evil people who wield it are low. So far.

      • cooltext230276763529709_zpskdiwwdzn.png
      • The Nereids
        Also called mermaids and/or sirens
Full blooded Nereids are created in the appearance of women with fish tails, serpentine tails, or tentacles. They are found mostly in deeper waters and are known to save passing mortals from drowning. Usually seen as a docile and serene race, the nereids are looked upon with admiration and respect. They are not ones to typically fight, but will when pressed enough.
Water is their magical element, of course, and they manipulate it to a small degree up until they reach their thirtieth year of magical study. Only then do they tap into the more advanced water spells.
Half bloods or those mixed with Nereid blood can be male, but are usually cast out from the Nereid population, unless born to a lone one. These mixed children do not usually have the same water magic capabilities, but there have been very rare cases of them tapping into it from time to time.
        ...
      • The Cheshire Catizens
These felines are known throughout the land as the "wily" race. They like to do things their own way, disappear and reappear at will, and generally fuck with the order of things. Many believe that Alice's Cheshire Cat didn't help out of the goodness of his heart, but merely to mess with how things were being run around Wonderland. Even if many others swear that he actually wanted the rule of the Red Queen to stop due to its harm spreading.
Cheshire Catizens are usually seen as grinning cats, because "no one ever suspects cats." But these creatures of a race of smoke and stealth, meaning that they can appear in many forms and in many sizes.
That is their magic, though. They are able to manipulate smoke and shadows in order to form illusions around themselves. Many have tried to do the same to other people, but have failed miserably.
People mixed with the Cheshire blood do have this ability, but are limited on what they can transform into. For one, they cannot change into anything larger than what they actually are, but they can go much smaller or even go invisible, but only for a few hours at a time.
