It is a hot and sunny day, the type of day where most girls would be in their bikinis. But the evolved humans avoid mankind, they hate each other and wouldn't share ideas. The evolved are the type to view bikinis as a waste, they tend to take off their clothes and walk around nude if they want. This is on their portion of the continent.

Today, for the first time ever, a small group of evolved elite warriors have crossed onto human territory to take something of theirs back from mankind's main city. The group is confronted as they leave but are all able to escape because of a rock slide started by the group's leader, all but one, one evolved female is buried under enough rocks to crush a normal person. Her group leaves without spending one minute looking for her, her top is gone too, torn away by some rocks.

The clear blue sky was a lie. A day like today was not meant to be so beautiful. Sirus Did appreciate how nice it was out, he did have to walk two miles to and from the city every other day for supplies. The pack on his back was weighted down with lots of things that were necessary to grow kika, a pretty popular food on the planet. His long days of travel and work on the kika farm had left him with a toned athletic body that stood 6’0 and 185 pounds. He was actually pretty tall for human standards. He had heard that most evolved stood much taller though.

Sirus was shaken from his thoughts by a loud noise and looked up to see a big cloud of dust form and then dissipate there were screams and then all at once things were completely silent. Sirus’s blue eyes went wide under his dark hair that was a bit messy. Was it an attack?! His farm was that way and on that farm lived his Mom and Dad and his younger sister.

His heart started to race as he began to run towards the sound. The road was discovered, it had used to be cobblestone but the years of nonuse had left it mostly overgrown. His feet kicked up clouds of dust behind him as he came to a stop at a rock slide. This had to be the source of the sound. His farm was just over the hill but he decided to sit down on a large boulder and rest for a second. His legs were on fire and he was so caught up in catching his breath he didn’t even notice the bodies sticking out from the edge of the rubble.

It wasn’t until he heard groans that he looked at the debris again. His face went pale at the sight of all of the blood soaking the earth. What had happened here? Was it just an accident? He looked up at the rocky slope to make sure he was safe to go in further. It looked alright to him and he shrugged off his pack and went to look for survivors.

Into the late day he searched. Nobody came to help as the road was hardly used and some of the rocks were just too big. He was just about to give up hope when he uncovered a woman. She was cut up and unconscious but otherwise seemed unharmed. He dragged her over to the road and lay her on her back. She was covered in dirt and it was hard to make out any features. He had no idea what she was wearing as he had never seen a woman dress that way and she seemed like she was going to live.

He had no idea how he as going to carry her and the pack back to his farm. His mother was pretty good at fixing up wounds. He had suffered many a child. He let out a sigh and just then a glint of something from the spot he had dug her out from caught his eye. He walked over to the hole and reached down and grabbed it. Holding it up to the sinking sun he saw it was a pale green jewel of some kind about as big as his palm. He looked at her, then at the jewel, then at her again. What could she be doing with something like this? He thrust it into his pocket and picked her up in his arms. After the weight of the bag she was surprisingly light and he decided she was more important than the supplies.

He wondered what his parents would say about him carrying some strange girl into the house, but they were supportive asked little questions. He took her up to his bedroom and lay her on his bed. He figured this was his responsibility so it should be his sheets dirtied. His mother followed him up and pushed him aside.

“Always making trouble Sirus.” she said with her hands on her hips. “We saw that rockslide from here and i feared the worst! But at least you are safe. Now go get me a washcloth and a bucket of water and we can see who is underneath all this dirt.”

Sirus looked at the girl one last time before leaving to do as his mother asked.

Orchid awakens in a startle, looking around to take in the situation. She notices that her top is missing but doesn't say a word as this is normal to her people and understanding that she has been hurt by the rocks, sees a human attempting to save her life. Although she is somewhat confused by this, she cannot stay awake to ask any questions.

Unaware of how much time has passed, Orchid wakes up a second time, this time in a bed being gently cleaned by a human woman. Orchid pauses again, taking a moment to register. The home is far different than what she is used to. She attempts to grab the woman and feels that her arm has been sprained or perhaps broken, she could not tell. As Orchid comes to a little more she can feel similar pains throughout her body and decides that it's best to just lie there. "I am Orchid, what is your name and what do you plan to do with me" Orchid says to the woman.
