How many of us do this?

In my happy place.
I'm curious as to how many of us on here steal little bits of time from work and/or school to pop onto the site and check our messages and threads? I know I'm guilty, in fact I'm making this thread at work while sweeping the warehouse.

I freelance. So I steal all my time from the Twitter/Facebook time that keeps interrupting my projects. I steal from the rich and give to the naughty.

When I was more active with RP I would often write responses to RP's from work this is when we had more freedom on the net. I wouldn't do that now though.

Cant do it much at my new job, they have tight controls on the net, and ive found this place to be essentially read only with my phone :) Autocorrect FML

I check my PM and used to go on chat while on my phone a lot. I'd occasionally reply to an OOC PM if it was short and simple, but any heavy writing, including writing posts, has to be done when I'm on my laptop. I just despise creative writing on my phone because I tend to erase and rewrite a sentence five times till I'm satisfied with it. I also like to write my paragraphs out of order and build on them/organize them later on. That's easier on laptops, obviously.

Amusingly, I only post on my phone.
How on earth do you manage that, babe? I would never guess by the quality of your writing.

I am guilty of checking my phone all of the time, but now that I changed my settings to get emails that's how I check.
Before though, I didn't have internet for almost two weeks and I would respond via phone. It was so hard but I managed.

I type with two thumbs.

Or, to accept your innuendo...

*cough cough cough* Some replies are typed...slower than others.

I don't usually log onto anything when I am at work, too busy working! But I do sneak a peek sometimes just to check the time on my phone, (cough cough).

I will use my phone to make replies from time to time. I don't have internet at my house, haven't for a couple years, so if I get busy and don't go to the free WiFi spot down the road I manage on my phone.

I used to do this a lot at my old job and would even write responses on my phone while I was at work, but it took a lot of time away form actually working. With my new job we have a no phones policy so I can't check it and our computers are monitored because of the clients we have so I don't want to get in trouble for looking at "porn".

Yes. I know how this is. And yet some people want me to still RP with them and i just cant at those times :( of course they cant come on at nights or weekends at all. I dont know if i should feel guilty or think that is strange..

I reply from my phone always. I don't have access to computer all the time. So replying or creative writing, all through the phone and it is good. I'm used to it. As for work, I work in retail so when I'm on the counter and it's not so busy then I can reply or read a book but now I've got a lot of rps going at the moment. So I'm pretty busy.

I check BMR on mobile only when I'm on my work break, but I'm always on BMR at university. Usually if I feel like I don't really need to pay attention to the lesson at hand, I just start browsing forums or replying to my roleplays.

I do, however, write posts on my phone. Even long ones, and I'm talking posts that are 1000 to 2000 words long. I mainly use my phone when I'm laying in bed and get the urge to write but am too lazy to get my laptop. It doesn't bother me to write a post via mobile, but that's because I text frequently. Normally what happens is that I write an entire rough draft and then read through it again and again, making changes here and there until I'm satisfied. Making an entire post that's around 800 to 1500 words takes me 3 or 4 hours, to perfect and post. It's not that bad for me, but I know plenty of others think differently.

That isn't to say I mostly use my phone for posting. I normally post on my laptop; I only post from my phone if I have a major urge to write, and I already have ideas floating around in my head about what I want to write.

Sadly, I cannot as where I work blocks the place. Also, my issued computer is monitored heavily. So...yeah. Such is life at my new job.
