Crystal walked down the well trod dirt road. She leaned back looking up at the sky having to place a hand over her eyes to look at the sun. â??Yeah looks like we should make it to the village before dark.â? She said to her companion.

Crystal stood about five foot three and was a bit touchy about her height. She had no need to be since she not only was normal size for a woman she also was one of the most powerful wizards in the land. Her golden blond hair hung down her back in ponytails which lent to the younger look of her over all features. She was barely twenty-three and she already had to turn men away constantly as she was a good c-cup bust size and her waist narrowed perfectly to make the flare of her hips all the more noticeable. She wore a simple long sleeved shirt which hugged her curves above a knee length skirt that had splits up the sides showing her mid thigh-high boots. She carried a simple staff as well as a bag over one shoulder that held all her books of magic.

Adalyn walked along side Crystal as they headed to the village, "Yes, we should. I'm sure that it wont be long." She agreed.

Adalyn wasn't much taller than Crystal, she was five foot five, but usually the bread of elf she was ended up being tall. At a young age she was trained to be excellent in the art of the sword. The training had been cruel and she had to become one of the best if she was to get through it. It was by her own choice of course, her parents never really wanted her to do it, but she wanted to be one of the few women that did so. Her sword hung on her waist, by her side. She had her dark brown hair up in a bun to make fighting easier and her cloths were tightly fit. She had on a simple, elbow length shirt and thigh length shorts. Her boots came up one inch below her knees.

Crystal nodded, it was like that between them. Most people would have thought that two girls would talk more with each especially two that fight monsters and bandits for a living, but these two didnâ??t talk too much at least not now. They had talked a lot at the start of their partnership but then things had died down. Crystal could only put it up to one thing, it was the wet feeling she got between her legs whenever She and Adalyn were being close and good friends. She knew that She had feelings for Adalyn but she couldnâ??t bring herself to say it out of fear of ruining what they already had.

They kept walking and the gates of the city came into view still a bit of a ways off but still could be seen. And to one side of the city there was a large dark tower with a green flame glowing in the top room.

Adalyn smiled to herself as they walked along. Crystal was one of the few people she tolerated. The wizard was great company at any time and she enjoyed her talking or not talking all the same. At first when they were silent like that it was a little uneasy, but after a while she loved it. She loved being near her and would give up anything for that. She had some deep feeling in her about Crystal, but she was not sure if she would out right say that to her.

They walked on heading into the town. Crystal stopped at a cross street looking up at the tower where there was now a red light coming from it. â??Hmmm well that is interesting.â? She pulled out the paper that they had gotten regarding the job in this town. â??Hmmm adventures wanted to search out the tower and find missing peopleâ?¦â? she turned to her elven friend, â??shall we rest the night before we head into the tower? Maybe get some local information?â?
