What should I use for chat?

I'm new to this site, before I came here I mostly RPed using Kik and Gmail. What do the users on here use to RP, solely the PM and Ajax system?

I ask because I like to RP on the go and I'm curious how well that would work with the PM system, any thoughts?

It depends on the person. Lots of people RP via PM's and threads, but lots just as well RP through e-mail, AIM, YIM, Skype, etc.

It's worth noting that RP is actually banned in the shoutbox. That system is reserved for OOC conversation only, to limit... Public lasciviousness.

Most people make a thread in the appropriate section for their RP, some of the more privacy-minded use PMs, and I'd imagine some people still use IM. If you've got a preference, mention it in your request thread. I know for a fact I've seen other kik and email RPers on here before you, though fewer, naturally.
