The Empire is under constant assault from super mad science. Armies of killer automatons, mutant monsters, doomsday weapons and extra dimensional aliens threaten the peace of people with death or enslavement.
Amid the upper crust of Imperial society is the young head of one of the greatest houses of the empire. She is an inventor and adventurer, brilliantly mad and madly brilliant. Along side her body guard/partner/ human test subject she defends The Empire from all threats that come it's way with the liberal application of her trust death ray and plenty of scientific know how.
And if a few buildings happen to get blown up in the process, well, what's the saying about omelets and eggs?
