Kiya stood on the roof of an abandoned farm house far from any city, her long curly dark brown hair rustling in the slight wind, her blue and hazel eyes staring across the landscape looking for some sign of movement. She stood tall over the earth for once since she only stood to be a little over five feet tall. Her slim and lean body was complimented proudly by the tightly fitted pair of black breeches and the tunic that she had sliced the side open on with a waist cincher fitting her almost like a loin cloth, she leather knee high boots were well worn from the many roads she had traveled. She carried many weapons though only a few could be seen she wore two short blade swords across her back and a long thin blade on her belt. She brushed some of her dark hair out away from the slightly tanned skin of her face. She smirked a bit seeing that no one had come to challenge her though she did desire a nice challenge.
She jumped off the roof of the building landing gracefully on the dirt only a slight plum of dust rose from the dry dirt of this land. She went to the well it appeared to have some water left in it she pulled the bucket out and filled her two canteens and started to walk back to the house she walked in the boards creaking under her weight with each step she was checking to see if there were any supplies left within. She found few sacks of dried fruits and vegetables and quickly grabbed them she would need all the nourishment she could get. She stuffed them into the small pack she carried on her back. She walked a little further and found a small blanket it wouldn't hurt to have it and took that as well. This is normally about how everything went for her she would kill and then scavenge. It would seem pathetic almost to those living a so called normal life but it was all she had really ever known and it was all she was good at. Besides it suited her just fine it put clothes on her back and food in her belly and that was all that really mattered. The adventure the hunt and the battle kept her entertained more than being married off and being turned into a simple house wife and baby producing machine. She felt like she might vomit at just the thought of such things yet her sister had chosen that life her elder sister that's when Kiya ran away from home.
