About 2 years ago while Overwatch was still in operation. An unknown contaminant unit was discovered and transported by Overwatch officials. The containment tube housed an unknown energy source and was locked away in a research facility within the London Overwatch Branch. However, since Overwatch's dismantlement the unknown energy lay dormant. Until a group of scientists folly resulting in trying to research the energy. Unleashed a being known as Entity upon the world. "Residents of London are to be cautious." Said a news anchor on the local News Station. "If you see this unknown Entity be advised to run... do not attempt to contain it.... now for Sports." The anchor man said.

After the broadcast a splatter of glowing formless mass was slithering along an alleyway in the Heart of London. It was spotted by a dog and it barked savagely at the sliding slithering goop of energy, that quickly silenced the noisy beast. Its body melted and mixed with the cells of the formless mass, till it reproduced the very form of the devoured dog. Slowly it patters out of the alleyway in the form of a glowing mangy dog from an alleyway. The dog scampers down towards an apartment complex in the downtown district, he could smell after having gotten used to all the benefits of this dog form. It was the scent of a woman, and a familiar one at that.

As convenient as being anchored in time by a chronal accelerator is for covering long distances in a short amount of time, even Tracer herself engages in the drudgery of exercise. One can never be in too good of shape for moving payloads. Despite the sunny weather, it was chilly enough given the season to avoid overheating, and the view of the cityscape and the chance to people watch was far preferable to a treadmill for the native Londoner. However, being detached from technology, however briefly came at a cost. Being out of the loop. So of what little info was being broadcasted about the Entity, Tracer didn't get the benefit of hearing even just that.

Hence her entire lack of weaponry and free-spirit taking her through back-alleys on a shortcut home once done with her run. Wearing her iconic leggings in addition to a now sweat-drenched tank top as she trotted on the pavement, she was eager to get out of them and into something clean, only to have her attention broken by spotting the silhouette of a dog out of the corner of her eye in an abandoned alley. She paused in her tracks, trying to get a better look at the canine. Somehow off looking, but too far off for her to tell how or why. An optimist as always, she whistled at the supposed dog, looking for a reaction.

The dog would look up, sniffing the air. Turning his head to gaze and look over her. Then bounds up to her, and blends perfectly in as a dog, sitting at her feet. The dog was glowing with a crystal blue energy arching around him. It was clear he had gotten into something, or that is how the dog would look to someone who hadn't any clue.

It didn't bark though, and would see the woman with his lack of color viewing eyes, this form wouldn't do, it couldn't speak, and Entity had no desire to learn the dogs language. So it would be a silent dog, maybe seen as a mute of sorts. Pretending to be the dog as best he could Entity, would begin to make the best puppy dog eyes it could manage.

Giving the 'dog' a quizzical look as it bounded up to her, Tracer was more put off by it's silence than the fact it was glowing. She crouched, and after only a moment of hesitation (after all, it things went awry she always has the chance to backtrack) placed a hand on its, wait... She checked to be sure... his, head, and proceeded to scratch behind his ears. "Hey little buddy! What's up with you? You alright? Do you have a home?" Despite the lack of sound the dog's part,, not even a wagging tail, the quintessential act of communication between dog and human, the 'dog' had eyes. Puppy dog eyes. Looking up at her's. There was no way she could resist. "You're a pretty odd fella, but I think I know just the person to check you out- see if you're alright." Standing up, she took a step forward before pausing just long enough to check if the dog would follow before continuing forward.
