Seeking E/RPers who Enjoy PLAYING!

Heros Rest is a newly formed guild on the Wyrmrest Accord US server seeking to build an RP community full of active players who enjoy an adult setting and content.

Are you tired of ERP guilds consumed with sex? Hero's Rest aims to provide a setting where sex is common, but not the focus. We will have adventures, tavern nights, events, all with the potential to get dirty, but without it being forced.

ERP guild too dark and broody? We are looking to take a more light-hearted approach to our theme. Help us rebuild a fallen manor and turn it into a paradise for rowdy heroes.

Do you enjoy adult story lines and subject matter but tired of jumping onto an alt to do it? Tired of taking time away from your main to get your RP groove on? We'd like to hold ourselves a little higher. Now you can be in an ERP guild while playing with your vanilla friends without holding a questionable tag like <Red Bottoms and Butt Plugs>. No more odd looks from Janet in accounting!

We want to play, we want to PVP, we want to run dungeons, we want to RP but most of all we want to rock your world! Play with us! We are looking for full time RPers who are interested in all aspects of the game! Seeking literate, capable adults for RP from epic adventures to extreme BDSM to light romantic interludes!

Every character is welcomed as long as they do not break the lore set out, IE no character stealing and no god moding. Play a master or a slave. Play an adventurer. Be a janitor. A bar maid. All are welcomed! Here, you are not defined by simple buzzwords like 'Master' or 'Slave'. We want fully fleshed out characters with thought and feeling behind their motivations.

Players shoulder know the basics of RP, and know the line between IC and OOC. We ask that you are able to write full literate posts when interacting and that you keep the OOC to proper channels. We tend to be laid back and love to have fun, but if you are offended by adult language and jokes you may want to look elsewhere.

If you are a fuckalt; someone playing the character merely for social erotic interactions you are not welcomed. We are focused on full time RPers and thus we will have rules on who we allow in, and how often they log on to remain active and in the guild...this includes in game interactions concerning more than RPing full time.

There is no race or level requirements, but we do ask that you level and play the game as you would. We do not require you to enter as your main but you MUST play fairly regularly.

Guild chat will be IC, taking place between adventuring or career on the complex grounds. Map coming soon!

RP Theme:
The Villa Jarenenin has lay dormant for over a decade. The decay of the roads, buildings, and gates tell a tale of lament for a once powerful family. Gone for years...till the return of its son. The young lord will fight to return the villa to its rightful glory...but money is tight having spent the remnants of his family fortune to repair a large building once called the 'complex'.

Housing up to 100, the complex was once the vast companion and living quarters attached to the main mansion. The young lord and his adoring lady have opened the doors to the complex once more...for a fee. All travelers are welcome, stay a few days or sign a lease for an extended stay. Your needs can be seen to, a hot meal or a warm bath? A night of frivolities and passion? They can get you what you seek as long as rent is paid on time.

Enjoy the grounds so much you'd like to stay on a full-time basis? Take part in the overarching story as Duke Jarenenin quests to rebuild his family home to its former glory and open new facilities to his customers and friends. Go on an adventure to rescue a legendary blacksmith from an orcish prison to tend our gear. Take over a scourge infested quarry to collect the materials needed to rebuild the tavern. Perhaps we could even throw in a dancing stage?

Rules:


These are firm and set in stone, breaking of the rules will result in a warning. A new member may only get one warning before they are removed from the guild. Full members and above will get 2 warning and be removed on the third violation.


We require ALL members and characters to be 18, no exceptions. Subject matter and topics are not appropriate for children.



Guild Chat:
*Guild chat is IC and takes place between adventuring at the Lodge. Officer chat is OOC.

Where guild chat takes place and 'private' conversations in Discord.

*As in voice chat topics we ask you refrain from are politics, race, sexual orientation, and religion.


Roleplaying:
*When speaking out of character please use (( {{ like this comment here, this is OOC )) }}, this means in ALL channels not already indicated to be OOC channels.
*We are relaxed on canon items, but we do not tolerate breaking of lore. Canon is something in the lore and history created by Blizzard and cannot to be changed or modified by anyone but those who hold the copyrights. That’s not you, so don’t try.
*ERP is only the business of those who take part. eRP is erotic role play and is the focus of this guilds makeup but not its entire story. It also takes out of character consent of both players and guidelines should be set through communication. NEVER ASSUME.
*L33T Speak is not permitted in guild or RP. This includes shortening words to U or Ur.

*No godmoding. Briefly:
Godmodding is godmoding specific to character creation, skills, and certain situations (e.g., combat).
Powerplaying is godmoding by controlling another roleplayer’s character without permission.
Metagaming is godmoding specific to the use of OOC knowledge in roleplayed actions, behaviors, thoughts. This includes RP that occurs on Discord that you did not take part in.
Retconning is godmoding specific to erasure or alteration of past events.

Voice Chat:
*Use of Voice chat during group pve content is mandatory but we never force you to speak, listening is required. *This is content such as Raids and Ranked PVP groups. Mandatory voice chat will be up to the discretion of the team captain.
*When a group is committed to content we ask they move to the appropriate channel and all others remove themselves as to prevent themselves from becoming a distraction.
*Topics must refrain from political, racial, and religion. These are single warning violations.
*Please respect the rights of those who wish to switch channels for quieter conversation. Do not disrupt someone if they have moved channels.

Naming:
*We have a loose naming policy, first rule is that we do not allow canon names or names that are closely similar.
Do not get angry if your name is mispronounced, or misused.
*Inappropriate names will not be accepted, all names should follow the rules in the games terms of service.
*Official titles are not permitted, such as Duke, King, Princess. If you have an issue with this please discuss with us. We will discuss it with you and make a decision. All decisions are final and not up to further debate.


Outside of guild behavior:
*Harassment comes in many forms, trolling general, repeatedly killing a flagged horde, and continually picking up on the tavern whore who is clearly not interested is a list few of the infractions we will not tolerate. No means no, and when asked to stop you will.
*Killing a flagged horde member is ok, but stop at three attacks. You have asserted your dominance, let them retreat or finish the quest.
*A witty comeback is great in general chat but don’t become a pest, show your leadership in a pvp match but please understand some people may not be as good as you or understand instructions.

Basically don’t be a dick.



Guild Events:
We have two types of guild events.
Minor Events: Can be hosted by anyone. These are simple gatherings that would not affect the guild story or have any real long lasting changes. Tavern crawls, Truth or Dare, Strip Poker, Hot Springs Visits, could all be considered minor events.
Major Events: Can be hosted by anyone of Common rank and above but must be ran through an officer. These are guild-wide story events that can have small or large impacts on the guild as a whole. Constructing a new building, storming an old ruin, or rescuing a captured Lodge tenant could be considered a major event.

Rank System -
Legendary - The Duke and Duchess


Epic - The 'Officer' rank - Chosen from Member and Senior member based on need.


Superior - 'Senior Members' - Given a personal room in Discord for stories, RP, journals, anything they want - Req: 1 month membership, Attended 5 Major events, Hosted 1 Major event.


Rare - 'Member' - No extra privileges. Just the title. Req: 3 weeks membership, Attended 1 Major event.


Common - 'New Member' - Full Access to Discord* and all of the RP rooms. Req: 1 week membership, Posted Bio on Discord.

Inferior - ‘Trial Member’ - Limited access to Discord* - Within 1 week of joining must get on Discord and acknowledge these rules, don’t be an ass, and RP your introduction to the lodge somehow. This can be done in /g, with a member privately (as long as they let an officer know), in the Porch channel on Discord, or just write it in story form. Please don’t ask for more than minimal hand holding for this. We are looking for eager roleplayers who want to jump right in. We can help you with generalities if you need but there is no need to complicate things. It’s an inn. You are welcome here.

*When a trial member has completed all but the time requirement and posted a Bio, they will be given full access to Discord without having to wait the full week.

Guild Resources

Taking part in guild RP events will earn 'resources' that will be used to fund our in character operations and open new opportunities for RP. Soon we will be releasing a map of the entire Villa with the costs in resources required to complete each building or upgrade. As a guild, we will decide together what to work toward and where our resources are spent. Please keep in mind the 'Gold' resource is in no way tied to actual, in-game gold.

Activity Expectations

Characters (mains and alts)in the guild will be removed after 1 month of inactivity. This is with no hard feelings and they can be reinvited at anytime. If it was the main character, they may be asked to start over as a trial member but this will be taken on a case by case basis. If you know you will be away for an extended period let an officer know and we will make not to not remove you.

Trial members will be removed after 7 days instead of 30. Again they will be eligible to reinvite with no hard feelings.

RP Facilities
Rooms in Discord made for Roleplay. (I.E. Garden, Chapel, Bathhouse). They can be either public or private. Some rooms will have a custodian, a character who is in charge of the facilities of a particular room.

Custodianship is granted to people who have shown an outstanding roleplay ability, and have ideas to expand the roleplay options for the guild as a whole. This is a title that is impossible to give objectively and not everyone will have the same path. Some will come up with an idea that they bring to the officers and it makes the most sense for their characters to step in as custodian. Others might be ideas had by another member, who’s character doesn't fit to act as custodian and it will be given to another. IC motivations will play a much larger role in becoming a custodian than OOC reasons. It is not a reward for loyalty. It is a tool to expand RP for everyone.

If the room is geared more towards 'character' RP, the room will be marked with the custodians name. These are rooms where the most common purpose of visiting the place would be to visit the custodian themselves. These rooms will take the place of the general private room that a member receives for being a Superior member.

If the room is geared more towards the location, where characters would congregate with or without the presence of the custodian, they will not be marked with the custodians name. They will also not take the place of that person’s private RP room.
