Kelly Quinn stared at her computer screen nervously nibbling her bottom lip as she scanned down through the information her client had sent her. Over 35 deaths in the house since the 1800's when the house was built. Most of which had been either former owners, each with their own depressing stories and many having concluded with suicides or deaths with mysterious circumstances.
She wondered to herself how such an obviously haunted house could have made it through the paranormal investigation craze that had swept the nation in the previous decade. Everyone and their brother had taken a shot at being a ghost hunter in hopes of getting picked up by a network and televised. This place though, the current owner had refused any and all offers to have the place investigated and some of them had been really reputable organizations. Kelly's small group was barely a blip on the map, it was her and her two college girlfriends Tina and Emily, and of course the guys. They were more the tech side of things while the girls took most of the camera time.
They'd only been operating for a few months and only had a few investigations under their belt. A cemetery that was supposedly haunted and an abandon school where the janitor had molested a bunch of students resulting in a young girls death. Neither of which had produced any real evidence to speak of. Then all of a sudden, out of the blue she'd received a letter from the owner of this mansion in the next town over. They'd said they'd be happy to let us be the first to investigate the property and even included a sizable donation. She'd been floored at first and when she'd brought it up to the group they all seemed really excited, but the more Kelly read about the property the more anxious she got about it, something just didn't seem right.
It was just then that the office door opened and her two best friends entered. Emily, dressed in her usual goth attire complete with ebony lipstick and black cat eye mascara. Emily was tall, built like an amazon, she was the complete opposite of Tina, who was preppy as the day is long and only stood around 5'4".
"Hey Bitch...you almost ready? It's time to get this motherfucking show on the motherfucking ROAD!" Emily said, sucking on her cigarette.
"Yeah I guess, but there is some really messed up stuff that happened in this house, Did you know Alister Crowley once rented it and preformed some crazy rituals in it?" Kelly asked as she closed her laptop.
"STOP IT, you know I don't like this creepy stuff anyway. The only reason I agreed to join this stupid ghosty group is cause you two are my best friends and you talked me into it. If you keep it up I am going to get nerved out and I won't be able to spend the weekend there." Tina whined.
"That ain't the only thing you've been talked into." Emily shot back, holding her two fingers up to her mouth and flicking her tongue between them.
"Shut up bitch, you know that was only once and it was because you got me drunk on wine. It doesn't make me a lezzie!" Tina argued back.
"Ha....the fuck it don't!" Emily laughed.
"Ok you two, knock it off. I told you no shenanigans this weekend, we got the new guy on the team since Eddie left to go produce music in Las Vegas and I don't want you two scaring off the new guy." Kelly scolded her two friends as she grabbed her bag.
"Yeah, poor Nate was the only guy for like two weeks and then you went and hired this big new studdly fella and he's back to being low man on the totem pole." Emily laughed.
"Emily you're a dyke how do you know if the new guy is hot or not." Tina asked, a dimwitted look on her face.
"I like pussy, that doesn't mean I'm blind, dumbass." Emily corrected her..
"Alright, what did I say, knock it off." Kelly said, this time showing her temper a little. "Where are the guys anyway?"
"Finishing loading the van. Wanna go out and fuck with them?" Emily answered.
"Yeah come on." Kelly said and lead her friends out the office door and into the parking lot where the guys were.
