It doesn't take much for me to be able to simply enjoy another's company and have conversations outside of the rp. I always enjoy meeting other people and making friends. I love the sheer amount of diversity the internet has to offer in bringing people together who might have otherwise never met. HOWEVER! While I do not mind laughing and joking around, being goofy, conversing about life and building a friendship with my rp partners [[or anyone in general]] DO NOT attempt to move things beyond the Friend's Zone! I am NOT interested and NOT looking! So there are no misunderstandings as this is simply part of the language demographic from where I live...I will often refer to those individuals I am comfortable with using one of the following terms: "Hon", "Dear", "Love," "Dude," "Babe." I take absolutely NO offense to being referred to/as in these terms. Meaning I am completely okay with someone familiarizing/using these terms when speaking to me as well. ✦ Fantasy is Fantasy Not Reality--- I write and role play for several reasons. As a hobby and to improve my skills as a writer over all. While my writings will certainly pull from real life they will crank the dial to 11 on the sheer amount of dark and twisted imagery. Just because I might play a sick-twisted fuck of a character does NOT mean I endorse or support ANYTHING they do outside of the fantasy universe! It is for plot purposes only used to create a story! Do NOT assume the things I have my characters do or say are an anagram for me to get off on. If it violates human rights I do not like it AT ALL. There are many times when it physical hurts for me to write a character doing something abhorrently immoral to another but I do it for the sake of the story. These are FICTIONAL characters! Not Real Life People! ✦ NO List Means NO--- If something is on my NO List...Do Not Ask Me About It! No means no! I will not do this to you so I ask that you please have the decency to not do this to me. Also, don't try to slip it into the rp later down the road, I have had this happen to me before on other sites in the past with a few people. Needless to say I did NOT take kindly to it. The SECOND you attempt to do this I will up and drop the rp and refuse to continue let alone rp with you again. Now I DO understand sometimes we all forget to put something on our NO list and it makes its way into the rp. If this happens on either of our ends, PLEASE let me know and I will immediately change my response and remove the aspects which make you uncomfortable. Rp is meant to be fun and if one of us having fun means making the other uncomfortable it is not worth it. ✦ Loss of Interest/Offline--- If you are loosing interest in our rp by all means PLEASE let me know! I would certainly like to attempt to rectify this problem and make the rp enjoyable for you once again! If we cannot figure out a way to breathe new life back into the plot I completely understand if you wish to drop the rp for awhile and take a break or drop it all together and never return to it. These things happen and when writer's block strikes and the muse doesn't respond nothing good often comes from attempting to brow-beat one's self into continuing something there is simply no spark for. Hey, no worries okay? It was fun while it lasted and perhaps we could try a different rp at a later date some time. Also! If you know in advance you are going to be away for awhile [[more than a week]] PLEASE let me know! It's only common curtsey and I will certainly do the same for you! I do understand life can often be a royal bitch and pull us away for lengthy periods of time and before we know it a week or two, even longer has passed. If something pops up out of the woodworks and you are forced to vanish for awhile don't worry about it. I will simply place our rp on hold for a month. After this time I will attempt to contact you. If you fail to respond by the end of the second month, as to whether or not you wish to continue the rp at some point but are still very pre-occupied with other things I will drop the rp. However, should you return and wish to pick up where we left off I have no objections to this, just let me know! I am very reasonable! ✦ Posting Frequency--- As previously stated I readily understand people have responsibilities offline as well as other people they like to rp with! I, myself, work a full time job, my hours anywhere from 40 to 60+ per week depending. Finding the time to post in an rp on top of other responsibilities outside of work can be a little hectic. I DO NOT expect my partner to respond to me the moment I send them a response nor would I have this expected of me in return. A response a few times [2-3 times] a week or once a week is completely reasonable! If longer periods between posts is known right out of the gate just let me know in advance I completely understand! I will only send you a message ONCE per week [7 days] just to check in and see what is up and how you are doing. I will not bother you or pester you for responses outside of that. I also expect this same treatment in return. When it comes to plot and story I am very much a "go with the flow" after the initial pre-planning on how to kick things off goes. I treat my rps in a 'real time' fashion. Meaning I prefer the story to grow, twist, shape and mold naturally rather than being forced upon a ridged and set path. If I already know what the end is going to be then what is the point in even starting in the first place? I look to surprise my partner and keep the ball rolling with constant new ideas, mysteries, events, everything and anything I can think of! From dark twists and horrific situations meant to utterly rip a character to shreds only for them to cobble themselves back together and forcibly rebuild into something more....to heart warming scenes of a family and friends...everything mixed together as an inner struggle wars within as to which path in life is best for our characters as a whole. The more I am into an rp the more I will write. The more I write means the more I ideas I have spawning inside my twisted little mind to play with. From rags to riches, ashes to ashes and everything in between I follow through until the absolute end whether it be sweet or bitter...maybe even a combination of the two. Cliffhangers, sudden disappearances, things left unknown, undiscovered...unsaid everything our character's know falling under question as they continue on their way...be it together or separately. I want to embark on a journey with my partner through our characters as we play out fantasies and accomplish things otherwise impossible in every day real life. I want to have a great time, to create a world all our own to which we can escape every time we take a seat behind the keyboard and begin to write...a world that keeps us coming back for more and more. Upon entering into an Rp I am certainly open to ideas [[provided they are not composed of anything on my No List]] and absolutely LOVE to receive feed back, ideas and so forth from my partner! Hell I love it when they surprise me with something unexpected in the story. Aside from the intro I typically do not plan my rps as stated earlier. Instead I prefer the natural element of allowing my character to write themselves as each and every rp I do serves a purpose and a place in that particular character's backstory continuing their growth and evolution as a whole. If there is something in particular you desire to have occur in the rp by all means it will be included! How we get to it is the question...as the saying goes....the journey is only half the fun! I never know how my character will respond [completely] to a given situation thus I literally build and bounce off what my partner offers me to work with in their post. If I see something interesting I will certainly expand upon it, having my character question yours for details in some fashion as they desire to know about it as much as I do being a reader. Watching another individual's imagination soar is unlike anything else as our ideas dance around one another to create a harmony of sorts. I can write anywhere from a few paragraphs in response to pages upon pages depending upon how in-depth our world building goes, how complicated the characters...the scene...the situation...everything. However long it takes to tell the story we wish to tell is however long that particular rp will last. It might take a week or it might take months for us to be happy with our story. I am in it for the long to say the least. And should we both ultimately enjoy the time spent writing together then by all means we can always begin another rp! The more my partner gives me to work with the more I will be able to pull from and help to craft an even more exciting and thrilling story! ✦✦✦ I would prefer my partner is capable of eliciting a healthily pudgy paragraph...8-12 sentences on average. [[I understand responses being a little shorter when the scenes are extra fast paced.]] I am not a grammar Nazi, a few errors here and there, a word or two left out or punctuation missed I am not going to freak out. All I ask is for a decent understanding of the English Language in responses. ✦✦✦ Species, Pairings, Romance, Smut and More!!--- When it comes to anything involving smut I am a 70% story to 30% smut writer on average! There needs to be development time to warrant our characters actually getting together rather than jumping straight to the bedroom! Make no mistake however; for those of you who desire even less smut in a story I can easily do a 80% Story to 20% Smut, 90% Story to 10% Smut [[perhaps there is only ever going to be one big scene between the characters and that is it for the entire rp]] or No Smut at all! Yes I can write completely non sexual rps! Should our characters have a particularly exotic and hot flare between them I certainly will to balance the ratio to 60% Story and 40% Smut. Please note this is the lowest to highest ratio of story to smut I will partake in. Again I do not want the rp to consist of nothing other than pure smut! ✦✦✦ Please note should you desire smut in an rp I will only write smut if your character is FEMALE. I only pair my male with females sexually/romantically. Also I will NOT sexually/romantically pair my male with Female characters of a few select species/type: ✦ Slime/Goo Girls ✦ Latex/Rubber Girls ✦ Moogle Girls [[regardless of if they are anthro]] ✦ Slug/Snail/Mollusk Girls [[regardless of if they are anthro]] ✦ Bimbos/Imbreds/MILFS ✦ Androgynous/Gender Shifting Characters/Genderless Characters with the ability to take on male or female form. ✦ Characters and Concepts! All are welcome so long as it does not fall under the "NO" Listing!--- It does not matter to me if we play in a Canon, A.U., Mixed Verse, Multi-Verse, Cross-Over or a complete OC setting! I love it all! It matters not to me if you choose to play as a Canon, Canon Alt, Fan-Character or OC regardless of where we are! So long as the character and world/realm we are using make sense together they by all means let's do it! For example: Using a Marvel OC in a DC setting. Totally fine with me! Both make use of Super-Heros and Super Villains. Aliens, Magic, and Mutants. Just make a few adjustments where required for the world jumping and we green across the board! Have an OC Knight style character? They would fit swimmingly in the world of Skyrim! By all means if you would like to actually rp out the origins of how your character came to be in that world or create something entirely new or expand upon a little known or even well known pre-existing organization to make things fit I am up for it! Series Cross Overs are one of my absolute FAVORITE things as I find it allows for more freedom in playing around with the world and character concepts as a whole. Incorporating the Multi-Verse of a series into one RP is another HUGE love of mine! Take for instance the DC Universe, there are dozens upon dozens of different splits, alterations and storylines for the characters with some cross existing, others perhaps dead or not even existing or once existing in another split at all! Pulling elements from different DC contingencies to us in one rp can certainly make things interesting let alone who knows what insanity we might be able to cook up at this rate! Creation of a more OC storyline we can still pull elements from pre-existing things to pack into our journey so long as it makes sense in fitting with the theme! We could be doing a post-apocalyptic rp setting so hey why not bring in elements from series such as Fallout coupled with some BioShock and Mad Max? Doing a zombie style rp why not throw in elements from Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead..so on and so forth! We do not have to constrain ourselves to one specific world genre/stereotype even if it is Canon. So long as we offer some respect to the original base we are using then why the hell not? Let's leave our mark and give some of our own personal flare in return? Same can be said for characters. Have a thing for a particular character but wish the creators emphasized something else about them? By all means amp it up, bring it into play give it your own flare! Feel as if a character is a little on the 2 Dimensional side in many of its appearances? Then combine the versions you think would make a better result for a more complete and fleshed out character! Make your own Alt Version of them! Play them as you see them in your mind or how you wish the creators had done in the first place, just have fun with it! ​
