Hey everyone,
I'm making this thread in the hopes that I will be able to discover new music, and hopefully help people discover music that they haven't listened to as well! I'm also very interested in discussing anything related to music so feel free to post if that interests you as well.

The first thing I'll post is especially fitting considering my avatar:

This cat does some pretty amazing covers of Undertale songs and I really like some of the twists that he adds to the songs to make them his own. Not to mention, he has a great tone when it comes to his saxophone playing and is quite skilled on the keyboard as well! I especially like his version of Megalovania because of the way that he will quote some other Undertale songs during his solos, and the tempo change near the end is also a very nice addition to the song.

All right, the next piece of music I'm posting is also from a video game soundtrack, but in a much different style than the Undertale cover that I posted.

I've always been a huge fan of the Bioshock soundtrack because I feel like it does a great job of creating an atmosphere for the game, and Welcome to Rapture is a piece that I feel does that very well. The haunting violin combined with the other string instruments, and the vibraphone(?), all do a great job of setting the tone for the game that I really enjoy.

Hello again!

This time I'll be posting something that's not from a video game soundtrack, but is instead a song by one of my favorite bands, Streetlight Manifesto. Lyrics wise, their guitarist/singer is definitely one of my favorite songwriters of all time, and musically they have a very unique sound with a killer horn section. Hope you enjoy!
