Do you ever go to the movies and watch the trailers and see some films that just really get you pumped? Do you ever spend hours on Youtube looking through trailers?

Post them here! Any upcoming films that you're excited about, post the titles and talk about them here. Note: if you're going to post trailers please just link them, do not post them with the video tags. They fill up the thread and are really hard to load for some people.

Here are some of mine:

Split (1/20/2017)

trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84TouqfIsiI

Another upcoming film by M. Night Shyamalan, seemingly making a comeback after the well received The Visit. Saw that one and although it didn't really "wow" me, it definitely was so much better than the crap he's been putting out ever since critics and fans got upset about the Village(2004). Which will always sort of make me cautious about any thriller type trailers that I see from him, because The Village, is not a bad movie. It's just not a thriller/creature feature horror like it was advertised. And that's my only worry about this upcoming movie, Split, starring James McAvoy as the lead, Kevin, with apparently 23 split personalities. Sure, with the screechy music and adrenaline pumping escalation, we're led to believe it's a thriller and it looks pretty straightforward but this guy has burned and failed to deliver before(Devil, the Happening, etc.).

I'm excited. I loved the Sixth Sense and Signs era of films and even the Village is one of my favorite movies. So, fingers crossed that Shyamalan steps up to the plate and at least gets back into the game, if not hitting a home run.

A Monster Calls (10/21/2016)

trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2Xbo-irtBA

Based on the novel by the same name A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. I haven't read the book but I've seen the artwork for it around the web and it is a compelling and beautiful looking story. Definitely looks like the film will pay an awesome tribute to it, bringing it to life on the big screen.

Before I Wake (9/9/2016)

trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMJyQPshlY8

Looks like a really stellar concept and the effects from the trailer look phenomenally spooky. Scary movies in recent years have failed to deliver for me, just not scary or ultimately disappointing, so, I'm cautiously hopeful. But hoo boy! I cannot wait! I just saw Room with Tremblay playing the son and he did really well, very believable, so, that's an added comfort for this upcoming horror film.

Alright! Those are pretty much the only ones I've seen recently that got me excited! Share yours! Please, remember, when sharing trailers, L I N K S O N L Y.

Predator 4 aka the predator coming out sometime in 2018 is the remake of the first predator movie I personally would like to see what happened to the missing/dead team that Arnold's crew was looking for so basically a prequel to the first predator movie

Omg! that sounds exciting! I loved the original with Arnold and was really disappointed by the recent one they made with Topher Grace. Although the aliens in that were fine and everything, Topher's character and the plot, pretty much didn't make sense.

Yeah, it's one of those that makes me question "Why?" when they do a remake. Reboot is fine but remake sounds to me like they want to make it better/improve on the original in some way and in recent years, it's seriously false advertising.

Beauty and the Beast (3/17/2017)

trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyC_dNvGcd4

Another one I completely forgot about is this one! Beauty and the Beast the live action film, starring Emma Watson as Belle. The trailer kinda makes me a little cringey with the overheard accented voices as she enters the castle but I think I am just so overwhelmingly influenced by growing up with Jerry Orbach as the voice of Lumière, the candlestick maitre d'. So, this will be one of those that I'll have to compartmentalize when I go to see it, viewing it as a stand alone film, rather than constantly getting hung up on any differences with the original cartoon film.

Pete's Dragon (8/12/2016)

trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkmhppxFk84

This one is coming up fast and seeing trailers for it on the TV has got me pumped. another childhood classic, I am super excited about it simply because we've come so far from the computer effects of the 1977 version. I'm also excited about the direction they seem to be going with it, choosing a younger actor for Pete, and even though the original had Pete wandering by himself in the swamp with Elliot, they seem to be going a "feral child" route with this upcoming film. Nothing will really beat the Gogan's opening number, "Happiest Home in These Hills" though. XD

Assassin's Creed (12/21/2016)
trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2e6Oruy_fA

OMG!!! I just saw this! Is anybody else excited??? I'm not even in the fandom and I'm excited! I am trepidatious about the "video game film" transition but Michael Fassbender is a strong actor. Not only does he visually fit the part but I think he can pull it off. The director is not one that I am familiar with but the only reason I didn't watch Macbeth was because they used all the lines from the original play script and I can't stomach Shakespeare. Still, visually, it looked stunning and gritty, so, maybe he'll do alright?

Salem season 3 (10/31/2016)
trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zYwtonSZus

Not a movie, I know, but if you've been keeping up with the show Salem at all, Season 3 comes out this year around Halloween(they keep saying "Halloween week" but that week is literally, the 30th on a Sunday and then, the 31st is Monday. Does it really count as "Halloween week" if it's November?) Anyway, the trailer looks fucking sick! Super excited! Looks like we see John Alden still playing a part, maybe Mary dies a little bit, Anne still bopping around, we've got Cotton struggling with his familiar-induced servitude, and even Isaac and Tituba running around at different points. Cannot wait!

Arrival (11/11/2016)
trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4Q4kXw2M1Y

Another super exciting film coming up starring Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. I didn't see the new Independence Day but I've heard the cringe surrounding it, so, maybe this alien flick will come and clean up the mess left by the other? Already, I'm trembling in anticipation seeing the imagery of this humongous, odd dark shape floating above the ground that is identified as the "ship" of these visitors. This teaser trailer is just perfect as well, showing just enough so we get the set up, we have an idea of who the main character is and what she's doing in the story, and then that ending, showing us nothing but the groups reactions before cutting to black. Cannot wait! :D

Rings (10/28/2016)

Not going to link the trailer for this one since I think it is way too spoiler filled; it literally shows half the movie in the trailer. However, as much as I disliked the Ring 2 for failing to understand the core concepts that made the first and original story so scary including the mythos, and as much as I am already cringing by the meaningless additions to it presented by the snippets seen in this trailer, I'm probably going to watch it. There are some things about the trailer that I like, such as the effects and scary things that happen. However, the addition of cut rings on the skin of the victims, the burning phone, the destruction of the entire plane due to, what I assume, is one cursed passenger running away from it, reminds me so much of S. Darko and how it completely missed the point of Donnie Darko and just dropped in these bizarre random things because they might be scary. Coherent storytelling would be nice, especially the kind that doesn't shit all over and ignore the previous incarnations and makes the title drop look like a cash grab.

The Ring was about isolation of the victim. In the broader sense, especially the American film, the symptoms and the entire premise of the film was symbolically mimicking a child suffering abuse and Samara dying at the bottom of the well. The targeted individual becomes a surrogate, going through the things that she did. I don't know how cut rings appearing in the skin, nor taking an entire plane of people down with the one targeted individual adds to the mythos. Then again, The Ring is one of those stories where...what else needs to be said? It was pretty self contained and anything that wouldn't be a complete copy of the first film with different victims has the potential to completely derail the rules and patterns laid out by the first film...exactly as these sequels have done. Again, I'll probably see Rings simply for the creepy effects and ideas, walking into it with no expectations of compelling story.

People are saying good things about the Arrival movie, contrary to the new Independence Day, which appears to be awful (bad score on IMDB also).

Yeah, all of the reviews for Independence Day seem to be really negative. I haven't heard much about Arrival yet, the extended trailer seems to show a lot more and it just makes me want to see it even more, focusing on a communication aspect with these creatures which appear to break the "everyone out in space is humanoid" mold, which I'm all for.

Защитники (xx/xx/2017)
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsQVdrillxA

Very cool! Love the bear guy with the huge gun. :D

A Dog's Purpose (1/27/2017)
trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jLOOCADTGs

Just saw the trailer for this and it looks absolutely gushy, mushy heartwarming. Cannot wait! I don't usually go for the heart feels type of movie - it took me years after it was released to watch Marley and Me simply because it was made to be this heart string movie and even after, it is not a movie I'll ever watch again because the entire purpose of it seems to be to get a cheap cry, which it did successfully. This Dog's Purpose however, looks to be a bit more of the type of storytelling that I enjoy. It also reminds me of Fluke(1995) which was one of my favorite movies growing up. So, kind of excited to see a voice over dog movie, which I feel is much more interesting.

It (9/8/2017)

No trailer yet, since it's not due for release until late next year but I'm super excited for this one. It was one of those iconic films and with a remarkable performance by Tim Curry. But it also feels very TV movie in places and is dated, not just because it's set during the 60's but the 80's filmmaking style as well. I love Bill Skarsgård as a disturbing character actor and he can get really dark and intense, so, I'm truly excited to see how he interprets the character. When we get a trailer, I'll add it to the thread.

Trespass Against Us(11/16/2016)
trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4CUb6hwQv4

Just saw the trailer for this and I'm super excited. Love the shit out of Michael Fassbender, so, watching him smoking AND being a scrubby criminal AND shirtless a lot AND a hot dad??? All in the same movie?? I'm weeping for joy over here, ecstatic! lol, I'm sure it'll be a poignant drama or whatever, blah blah blah. Light another cigarette with your shirt off and talk in an Irish brogue, Fassy! Reowr!

Get Out(02/24/2017)
trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzfpyUB60YY

Jesus. Fuck. This looks like a thriller I've been waiting to see for years. The entire trailer has me on edge and it looks disturbing, even beyond the whole race relations undertone that is clearly a present theme. Cannot wait to see it!

The Monster(11/11/2016)
trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUYyqIAiJVc

This looks pretty good. I like the small spaces type of horror films that can use limited space and produce an organic feel to the horror. I think so many times, when you open up the world map with horror films, they get really caught up in sets and scenes and costumes. So, I'm excited for this one. Looks right up my alley.
