Each tick of the clock provided a satisfying groan from the demon, allowing his claw to continue to stretch out against the poor woman's throat. The lifeless body of another woman dangled across the couch a few feet away from the duo. Despite the idea to go out and have some fun, the demon decided on staying home, with his human wife and stepdaughter opting for a girl's night out to have a bit of fun and relax and relieve some stress from their lives. They earned and deserved it, as every woman in their positions did. Which left the poor demon as the only person in the middle of this dark and abandoned apartment complex, which he liked to affectionately call "his home", since the maid had not come for her job for the week, being off on vacation. And to give a man such spacious time to himself, you could only imagine the kinds of nefarious plots that he often busied himself with. Clutching tighter, suffocating her, making sure that every breath she took was more difficult than the last, the ravenous creature felt rather invigorated. After their sexual romp, she attempted to go on her way home, perhaps to some other john, but the old demon wasn't having it. Subsequently, his hand wrapped completely around her frail neck, and the demon urged her life out of her body. She had already been exhausted enough from the raunchy sex, and he had only tapped into the forefront of his demonic hunger. Whether she truly expected the level of virility from the demon or not was of little concern now that he had exactly what he needed.
He had his own ways of relieving stress. The demon had taken his time to absorb the life energy from the two strippers, finding that they could serve to give him life instead of returning to their distasteful duties. And just like that, the last bit of life from the woman was thoroughly extinguished -- she no longer took a breath, and the color from her face quickly disappeared. Immediately, the demon dropped her to the floor, allowing her waif-thin body to lay there, helplessly against the laminated floor. The claw soon morphed back into his left hand, returning from the four prodigious digits of maroon fury to five, ordinary, light-skinned fingers and thumb. Letting out a quick breath, the sound of someone in the apartment brought him to turning his attention to the direction of the door. Having been fully recharged, his senses were on high alert, tensed at the arrival of a new and all too familiar presence. The simple utterance of his human last name provoked a curious smirk to form over his facial features, remaining in the shadows with only the uplifting stench of blood from his victim who, while still barely alive, would meet her fate rather soon. Oh, but there was someone out there that demanded his attention. While he could not immediately ascertain the potential threat or intruder, he could capture the slightest and faintest scent of human emanating from the door. The demon chuckled, but remained silent, before slipping into the shadows of his dark home, awaiting for the intruder to come into view. The bellowing chuckle of man released the lock on the door, slowly allowing it to creak open in a dark omen of things to come. Already, he could faintly tell that whoever was here was sent to kill him, but he couldn't smell hollow bullets or gunfire at all. Either she was completely unarmed and at the mercy of his disposition, or she had some other way of disposing him that he'd love to know about.
Either way, he was far too excited to meet his newfound guest, so with that in mind, The creature slowly stepped out from the shadows of the corner, leaving the dead body behind. The demon stood at his full humanoid height, a shade over six feet, but what was the most remarkable feature of his human physical form were the numerous tattoos and marks covering his chest, shoulders and arms. Most were not visible to the naked eye, but with the woman's exceedingly sharp senses, she would note all of the powerful and inspiring demonic marks. "Are you looking for someone?" The demonic vampire spoke in an all-too ominous tone, now fully revealed to the cat-like woman. Of course, he didn't expect her to be all alone in trying to find him, but with the other members of her group. Which would no doubt prove to be one of the undying qualities of her failure and his advantage. Nonetheless, the demon licked his lips, looking to step forward toward the woman, his own demonic aura already looking to parade on through to affect her senses. "Have you come to play?"
The creature prowled with a certain purpose, a particular method to his demonic madness. The city's quiet stillness had inundated him with a sense of daring purpose, not without all of its madness. And now, being on the precipice of yet another joyous hunt, the creature could only bait his breath and wait for the demon hunter to come to him.
