"Annnnnnnnd we have wonderful blood rubies gained following the raid of said mentioned castle! Carefully crafted by the masterwork of vampires, these rubies are carefully crafted by the most talented of jewel smiths! And we are starting the bid at 200,000 Reals!"

Roymos sighed softly as the bidding began. It took less than a minute to see about 20 bids on the highly valued gemstones. All of the treasures gained following an intervention by his nation's King was finally available to the highest bidder. Of course, the King only offered what he cared little for in comparison from more valued treasures. He was sitting near the stage where he could keep an eye on the valued goods that were somewhat hidden behind a curtain. Some looked appealing, while others didn't. He was honestly tempted for the blood rubies but knew that he had obtained precious stones beforehand; he was not going to spend all of his money when it was still early!

"Why not bid for them sir?" asked his assistant who sat next to him.

"I likely have a collection already," Roymos remarked, yawning as those rubies were finally sold. He adjusted his position to where he crossed his legs and arms, feeling somewhat relaxed. Nearing his 30s, Roymos had black hair, green eyes and lightly tanned skin. He wore mostly black with some traces of silver in either jewelry or designs on his attire. He wondered if his reputation would improve if he brought something of outstanding value. He was wealthy enough to challenge any who would engage in a bidding war with him.

"My, it seems like they can't control all of their products," said his assistant.

"Hmmm?" Roymos blinked as he looked to get a peek behind the curtain, seeing the stored goods and someone getting into an argument with a handler. A slave perhaps?

Ensnared in silver chains, her arms and ankles, bound by that of a mortal. There was even a chain about her neck so she couldn't attack as well as a makeshift muzzle. In disbelief she was captured in the first place being centuries old, having eluded people for so long. Listening as her stuff was being auctioned off, her jewels and gems seeing many of her items being sold to mere mortals who didn't deserve them.

Lucinda was a treasure in her right, she was as much of an antique as her things, although she didn't look ancient at all. Lucinda looked to be a mere 24 year old woman. Her skin was fair and pale, like that of a porcelain doll. Resembling one, her fiery curls cascading past her shoulders, soft ruby lips, currently cold, fearful, emerald green eyes. Her delicate figure, a beautiful hour glass naturally accentuated by her corset. Lucinda was dressed in a dark crimson burgundy dress, black corset, a pair of black boots.

Trying to come up with a plan to free herself she was ancient vampire looked up to as a queen though keeping to herself, she was preparing to travel with her family that evening but beyond her control her castle was raided in the middle of the day, an unfair advantage, not knowing if her family and servants escaped.

Wanting to be free'd from her restraints she was from royal blood she didn't deserve this treatment. "Let me go! I don't deserve to be here! I've done nothing wrong! Free me at once!" Lucinda demanded pulling at her restraints She was trying to transform into her bat like essence but the silver wouldn't permit her too.

"Set me free and I'll make it worth your while...I'll give you anything you want...money, jewels, protection you name it...you'll have it." Lucinda pleaded with those holding her in place, exhausted from lack of sleep, fighting against them. "You'll all pay...mark my words you will all pay for this!" She cursed them she would get her revenge so long as she lived.

"And next we have a servant who was captured during the Raid!"

Lucinda was presented on the stage but after some effort against her resistance. "Quite 'young' for her age as given by her appearance, she insists to be of royalty! Yet while this is unproven with lack of evidence presented to support her claim, she is well-class and holds high standards! Perfect servant to all who desire such a high quality slave! The bidding starts at 100,000 Reals!"

Almost immediately, ten bids were set.

"Not very expensive, huh sir?"

"Not at all," said Roymos. Admittedly, he expected a higher bid. Then again, it was low enough to make the bidding option popular. Wanting to get involved, Roymos lifted a finger and called out, "250,000!"

"300,000!"

"325,000!"

On and on did the bid go. Roymos was not expecting a vampire servant to be so popular. Then again, no one he knew personally had one. It amused him even more as he could tell how frustrated the vampire was by this point. Was she actually telling the truth? He did not know.

Lucinda fought trying to get off the the stage but in a weakened state struggled. Watching as hands rose as mortals attempted to buy her, having a thought she would just be given to them for money kill them once given the chance. "If you read the old writings you'd know I wasn't lying! Set me free! My people need me!" She exclaimed struggling in the chains. If she wasn't chained she'd prov Royalty as only royal vampires could stay in a human form with there bat wings on there back. But with the way she was chained she would do more harm then good. Lucinda growled and hissed as they continued to bid tired and thirsty from being awoken and stolen away.

Yet no mind paid mind to her words as bids continued on and on. Roymos was getting irritated by how long this was taking. Clearly he needed to up the bid to another level.

"1.5 million Reals!" he shouted loudly, beating the last bid that reached 800,000 Reals. Luckily for him, there was muttering as it was acknowledged that the price was too high for some.

"Sold!" With the sound of a purchase being made, Roymos' assistant applauded him. "Well done sir! One of the more expensive purchases of the night!"

"Barely expensive with my wealth," commented Roymos.

After another hour of bidding, Roymos was satisfied with the other purchases that he managed to win. Meeting with some representatives, he watched as his new things were being transported out of the building. As for the vampire however...

"STOP STRUGGLING!" said one of her handlers. Despite the silver that was restricting her, she was obviously not coming to terms with this, much to Roymos' amusment.

"Come now; would it be so bad if you were mine?" he asked, approaching her and lifting her by the chin. He smirked as her anger REALLY spoke for itself. He exmained her and asked, "Do you have a name, my lovely new pet?"

"Sir, you should really be careful; wounds caused by vampires take longer to heal," warned his assistant.

Lucinda wasn't upset with how much she would be raking in. She was upset in general, they would pay they would all pay. She would see to it as soon as he chains would be lifted she would be gone, and would bring the others to feed. Giving up for she would need her strength for later, she fell quiet.

As she was being dragged against her will Lucinda dug her heels in making it harder for them, pulling at her chains. "You have no power over me!" She snapped when they demanded she stop struggling.

Turning her attention to Roymos, "I am no mans...I am no mortals...as soon as these chains are lifted you will meet your demise." Lucy replied how dare he ask such foolishness. Watching as he touched her chin forcing her to look at him. Her eyes turning violet from anger and not feeding. Hissing softly, "Lucinda...Lucinda Jessop, and I'm not your pet."

"Such a lovely name," admitted Roymos. "And you're claiming to be part of the Jessop line? That's a bold claim, Lucinda..." Roymos released her chin softly and moved around her, lifting her hair by the ends of her curls. "Hmmm...you smell qutie nice as well..." Releasing her hair, he moved his hands around her hour glass-shaped body. Despite her protests, he had no shame whatsoever lifting up her dress and moving his hand to her almost bared rear. "Well I am happy that you're at least wearing something under your dress; I've seen cases where slaves are not properly dressed before being sold..." He pulled away from her and looked to his assistant. "Do you think that we have Silver that is catholic blessed? It WOULD be troublesome if she was able to get free..."

His assistant pondered at the thought. "I'll have see to that...I honestly think that those chains are strong enough sir-"

However Roymos shook his head. "I find them unappealing really. But some insurance would work; something 'powerful' enough to prevent her from bringing harm to others and strong enough to make it impossible for her to remove on her own. I was thinking in the shape of a lovely necklace? Or a rosary would be more appropriate?" he asked.

Realizing what he wanted, he bowed. "I shall tend to that now sir!" He immediately headed for the exit.

"Good." Roymos looked at his angry new slave. "Try not harm anyone, please Lucinda?" He gently brushed his back hand against her cheek.

Lucinda bared her fangs watching him, "Thank you...my mother Merishka chose it...I am most certainly a Jessop, I come from a great and proud line." She replied feeling him shift around her once he released her chin, feeling his fingers through her hair. Vampires had a special gland which made them smell fragrant seeing as they were dead and with out the scent gland the would smell of death. Her body tensed as his arms wrapped around her, "Unhand me!" She snapped Squirming against him, "It is not polite to see a lady's undergarment let alone her petticoats. I am no slave! I am Lucinda Jessop of the Noble Jessop family!"

Twisting her slender hands trying to slip through to cuffs. Thinking about breaking her wrist to get through the silver. Lucinda hissed granted she'd rather not be in the big chains she didn't want the rosery nor the necklace blessed by the church either.

Glaring back at him, "I don't make promises I cant keep..."She replied angrily turning her attention to the warm hand brushing her cheek. "Why would you care...why are you being kind?" She hissed softly when so many of the other had been cruel to her.

"Now Lucinda, I have a policy with treating my things quite well..." Roymos stood in front of her and placed a hand on her cheek to settle her down. "But should you bite, I won't hesitate to do the same~" A cheeky smile emerged from him as he suddenly tapped her nose before walking away.

And so forty minutes passed before Lucinda was escorted into a carriage. Traveling with Roymos' assistant, who was lecturing Lucinda on the 'rules' regarding her new life with Roymos. And of course, the assistant gave no mind to her protests as he finally finished.

"...And should you feel hungry for anything, be it blood or a typical human dish, feel free to inform me or the other servants. Roymos cares for the health of those who serve him." He reached for a small box that was beside him and opened it. It was a silver rosery of fine craftsmanship. In the center of the cross, Emerald to accommodate the silver and her eyes. "I think that Sir Roymos would be pleased with my selection. I made sure that a priest from a nearby church did all of the proper rituals to empower your new rosery. He was kind enough to make sure that this one held the proper markings just to be safe." With that, he looked across from where he sat and asked, "You're not going to bite me...are you?" Wanting to make sure that he was not going to have issues with putting this on her. "I mean, it IS better than those chains...wouldn't you agree?"

Lucinda hissed at him as he called her his thing, she wasn't his nor was she a mere thing. Glaring at him, "I don't normally bite to kill but in this case I'll make and exception." She snapped as he was being cheeky with her.

Lucinda fought the her chains, having calmed a bit her eyes back to their emerald color. Moving with the the handler as she was placed into a carriage. Listening and rolling her eyes as he went over 'rules' she didn't obey the rules of mortals. She wanted to be free.

"...I am quiet thirsty...I wasn't able to feed before being taken...I do not serve him, nor will I..." Lucinda hissed watching him as he reached for something. looking at the small box he pulled out. It was beautiful, she often enjoyed looking at crucifixes but she knew this was going to help trap her. Hissing at the rosary, then falling silent. Looking at him when he asked if she was going to bite him. "Not with this muzzle about my mouth...I wouldn't even if it wasn't there...you haven't wronged me..." She said she wasn't about to hurt an innocent bystander following his orders. "I suppose...neither is a nice option in my opinion."

"..." The assistant paused after hearing her words. "Alright then..." After a minute of hesitation, he carefully moved the rosery around her neck. Afterwards, he said, "Now to remove your chains once we get off..."

As he promised, she was freed by the heavy silver that restrained her beforehand. And as expected, Roymos was waiting for her arrival. He smiled as he saw that she was now free from the silver restraints. "My dear, you look so lovely without those troublesome things..." He looked to see that she was naturally not pleased with the situation as he chuckled. "Still angry? Let me see your cute lips..."

Roymos gently began to remove her muzzle and smirked as he got a clearer look of her face. "Much better no? You could smile now..." He held her face and rubbed it gently before stating, "It must be odd for you to feel this vulnerable...but as long as you're with me, you'll be safe from harm." He continued to tease her with his thumb, slowly rubbing her cheek in a gentle matter.

Lucinda stayed still like she said she would as the assistant placed the silver around her neck. with the silver being blessed by a catholic church it in itself was uncomfortable. It was a very irritating feeling. Lucy felt so weak and vulnerable as her powers were being stifled.

Feeling the weight from the chain lifted with made her relax slight not as tense, having to carry the the extra weight. Lucinda looked irritated and angry. Rubbing her wrists slightly from the tight restraints. Glaring at him as he teased her she would be sure to kill him. Holding still as he removed the muzzle from her mouth. Stretching her jaw some with it now removed.

Keeping her cold look she wasn't about to smile at him, she wanted to go back to her home where she would have been safe except someone must have been followed. "And how can you make such a promise?" She asked she didn't put her safety in anyone's hands.Feeling his thumb caressing her cold skin.

"Well you're not being whipped for your rudeness... Then again, perhaps I would? You're seemingly calmer..." He smirked as he moved another hand to her waist and said, "But I have to find some use for you. What are your talents my dear? Can you sing? Can you read? I don't suppose you know how to cook do you? Ah speaking of which, you must be hungry no?"

"Sir, she claims to be thirsty," said his assistant.

"Ah but of course. I've sent a servant of mine to gather blood from the butcher shop nearby. Vampires do need blood." He released her face and leaned in, smelling her hair against as he whispered, "Or do you have a natural preference for humans?"

Keeping her glare, and her gaze upon him watching his every move. He wouldn't dare whip her, would he? "Baring heavy chains that minimize my natural abilities can make one very cranky, as does being taken against ones will..." Lucinda admitted holding her head high with her strong posture. Staying as still as a statue as his hand went to her waist.

"Talent's...Yes I can sing, and yes I can read, books sheet music, I can play the piano, the violin, and the harp. I knew how to cook once...but over the last few centuries I haven't needed to prepare food. Yes...I haven't fed, and with the capture it's been exhausting." She explained.

Looking to the assistant, "Thirsty, hungry same difference." She shrugged.

"Yes sadly we do, It has to be fresh though, after a certain time it becomes stale. I've survived on both it doesn't matter to me, human is often sweeter and more addictive then that of an animal." She replied hearing him smelling her hair, and he moved close to her.

Nodding slightly he said, "Well if you behave, I'll be nice enough to get you some human blood. Who knows? It may be even MY blood if you have me on my good side." He pulled away and took a moment to look at her entire figure. "Do change her into something more comfortable, would you? Something a little less "formal"..." With that, he turned away and walked into his large home, leaving her with his assistant.

"Well then, I should prepare you for dinner with Sir Roymos. Please come with me..."

Leading her inside, Roymos' assistant brought her to what would naturally be her own room to stay in. While small, it was spacious enough for one person. "Now I've taken the liberty to pick out what you should wear this evening..." He gestured at was laid across the bed. "I will check on you in ten minutes," he said, before bowing slightly and leaving her alone in her room.

*Some time later*

Roymos waited calmly at the dinner table that was prepared by his other servants. comfortable in a dress robe, he watched as they laid out the table with various options that would be enough for two. And naturally, something prepared for Shani to the point where raw red meat was available on her plate. Also with human delights with side dishes and blood or whine should she prefer to drink that with her meal. Of course, nothing wrong with water either.

Lucinda wasn't trying to start trouble not yet anyway, as much as she wanted to be free. He was bribing her with something she needed to survive, old blood could be dangerous to a vampire almost poisonous. Looking at her outfit, she was comfortable, seeing as she had nothing with her she wasn't sure what she would be dressed in.

Lucinda fell silent and followed the assistant into hit castle. Looking around the room it was much smaller then her room at home. Looking at the dress behind her. Lucinda began to change once he left trying to stretch her wings out but with the charmed necklace she couldn't. Laying her dress on the bed and putting the other one on. Looking out the window hoping her family was alright, still finding it unbelievable that she was captured.

"Lucinda? I am here to take you to see Roymos," announced the familiar assistant following a knock. After a quick exchange, he led Luncnda to the dinning room where Roymos waited for them.

"Ah my dear, you're finally here," he said with a pleased expression. He lifted his glass of wine. "Do join me..." He gestured at the chair that was next to his. Obviously he was at one end of the table, but preferred having one near him when dining with only one guest. He took a sip of wine and asked, "Are you comfortable?"

Lucinda turned upon hearing the assistant call to her following him out of her room. Down the halls to the dinning room.

Seeing Roymos sitting at a long dining table. "I apologizes for the wait...This dress is a very different style and I struggled to figure it out." She replied trying to be nice and polite she was a the dinner table after all. When asked to join Lucinda moved to the seat next to him. Pulling the chair out having a seat. "Not exactly...but more so then before..." She replied looking at the set up of the table taking in the room itself.

"Well please, do eat," he advised, placing his glass of wine down. "My assistant took the liberty of getting something as fresh as possible for you. I take it that vampires enjoy something that isn't 'old'? I did not know that until he explained why there was a delay with getting you blood to drink." He gestured at a bottle that was between them. It looked similar to a wine bottle although the liquid was obviously different.

"Please try not to waste it my dear; my assistant had to pay extra to get that kind man to go through the trouble of bleeding a poor creature..." He took a sip of wine. "But perhaps you would prefer cooked beef?" he asked, now realizing that he did instruct for her to have raw meat. Obviously it was not as fresh as the blood within that bottle.

Lucinda took the bottle and poured her a glass of blood, it was safe. Bringing the glass to her lips, beginning to drink from it. "If the blood or body has been dead for too long we can get sick it's like poison to a mortal. It does little for us, it could even kill us..."It's still warm it wont cool for about an hour, it shan't be wasted I assure you." Lucinda explained taking another sip."Besides you could have just brought me the animal it would have been cheaper and would've lasted longer."

Bringing the fork and knife to cut the rare beef feeling it and smelling it, it was safe to eat. "No thank you...The older we the less human we are, I can no longer digest most meals only raw meats now it's soft enough to feed from."

His mind pondered a bit. "I see. So you don't mind telling me how old you are exactly?" he requested, slowly carving his expensive beef. "I am quite curious to be honest; you're the first vampire I've ever had a conversation with..." He slowly began to chew his food, admiring and savoring the flavor. It was satisfying to the core.

"No...I am 24 give or take a few centuries. I am 342 years of age I was turned at 24." She replied. "I am cursed to be stuck this way, I will not grow old, nor become sick, or die naturally anyway." Watching him eat his food slowly never seeing someone eat so slow. "Many of us are hunted so we stay hidden, we don't often talk to those who hunt or seek to destroy us." She admitted why make friends when many wanted to destroy.

A muffled chuckle was heard as he wiped his face. "I see, then you are still 'young' to an extent!" He began to eat his vegetables. "Hmmm, so do you possess a firm memory of your entire life? Or do you naturally tend to forget things after a few years like humans do?" He took a moment to drink more wine. "Ah," he sighed in relief before cutting another piece of his meat.

Looking at him as he chuckled, "Yes but I am the oldest in this kingdom...many don't live long eternities. I am more powerful then many who are older than I due to my blood a royal becomes more powerful in death." She explained drinking from her glass. Thinking about it, "Fortunately somethings are better left forgotten. Like humans as many of us were we will forget thing over time. Names, dates, events." She said, "I can still remember when I was turned we can remember traumatic events better then everyday ones."

"Ah so you weren't born a vampire...interesting," he noted. He eventually finished his meal and asked, "What did you think of your room? Whether you're one of royalty or not, I am sure that you've had more privileged arrangements." He wiped his face for the last time and looked at her with a gentle expression, wanting to better understand her. "Are you comfortable or...?"
