Last Movie You Saw...

Millennium Actress (2001). Satoshi Kon is my favorite anime movie director of all time and I'm happy to see that local movie theaters finally bring his work on big screen over here. My second favorite movie of his that made me cry multiple times. Fantastic animation, amazing story that plays with his strengths of mixing dreams/dreamlike elements into his fairly grounded stories and Susumu Hirasawa's OST for the movie is perfect.

Forgot to write about The Obsession (2025) after I went to see it, and it was definitely worth the praise it has received. Overall just a really solid horror flick and the ending was one of the most twisted ones in a really good way.
 
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Based on a true story that was revealed when Churchill's files were declassified in 2016, directed by Guy Ritchie and with an all-star cast led by Henry Cavill, Alan Ritchson and Elisa Gonzalez.
 
Just watched Backrooms. It was fine, I feel Kane’s found footage and other videos had more to offer.

Watching Obsession next. Maybe tomorrow.
 
Just watched Obsession, that shit was so good. Probably going to watch it like two more times this weekend.

Ehh, I'd say the trailer
makes him look more like the victim. But it's cool to not spoil movies, especially horror types or mystery types.

fair enough. Still an awesome film and i highly recommend it =) i loved btoh that and Backrooms but i preferred Obsession overall more then Backrooms
 
Both were really fun, but yeah I liked Obsession more. Want others to watch it, but 20 dollars just to rent it... I say it's time people hit the high seas.

pretty much. I just didnt like the ending of back rooms. I wont spoil anything but saw it with my wife and btoh me and her didnt like teh ending and it kind of ruined the flm for us practiclaly but i still loved it overall but comparing the two. I far more prefered Obsession. Other then that dont know. Not really any movies ive enjoyed lately so
shrug
