I don't think I'd need a whole lot of reason/prompting to don one of those suckers. I basically get an excuse to talk like a pirate/break into pirate speech all the time, is what I'm hearing.

The answer is yes. Looks cool and turns a potentially uncomfortable conversation topic into a fun conversation starter.
